Lots of friends had recommended this place and it did not disappoint! Great food, great service, and it's BYO! Hard to find local places that let you bring your own wine. We'll def come back, plus they do carry out, which holds lots of potential for us! read more

Love this place. Excellent food. Great veggie options. The Panang is rich with just the right amount of spice. We also are big fans of the Pad Kee Mao, aka drunken noodles. I've been to Thailand and this place makes me feel like I'm back there with every bite. read more

Best Pad Thai I have ever had! The spring rolls were also very nice, and the service was quick and professional

delicious! I spent the summer in Thailand and have been missing authentic food. We ordered pad see ew, red curry, fried dumplings, wonton soup, and papaya salad. Clearly we had way too much food but all was delicious!! Only complaint is that the papaya salad was too spicy for us to eat even though we chose "not spicy." Excellent delivery!! read more

I came here for dinner with my family. The service was slacking... multiple tables left before they even ordered. We patiently waited since the reviews are good. We ordered 2 satay chicken from the kids menu and 2 noodle dishes. The satay chicken came out raw. My kids ate half of the order before I found out. We told the waitress and all she did was took the order off. My kids could have gotten salmonella from raw chicken. So unprofessional!! read more

My boyfriend took me to this restaurant for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised how clean and nice this place was. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was so delicious. I cannot remember what he had but I tried it and it was great to. The customer service was unbelievable. The waiter didn't bother us to much which I really appreciate, nothing worse then being in the middle of conversation and someone consistently bothering you. Everything was perfect I will definitely go back to this place. Oh and try the Thai Tea it was awesome. read more

Food was great and so was the price. Art, the owner, was very personable and patient. Definitely will return!

We LOVE this restaurant. They have delicious food AND they are a friendly place to have dinner. It is my favorite restaurant in Edgewater. The food is tasty and is fresh when served. I have tried many of the different dishes and they are all delicious. Try the mango and sticky rice for dessert! LOVE IT!! I go there to get take-out at least once every ten days. You won't be disappointed if you visit this restaurant. read more

Great authentic Thai food. Hans down best you can find in the area, interesting decor but it's on the the charms about the place. Owners are great too read more

Fabulous Thai food! I had the best pad Thai! Service was great! Very clean! Highly recommend! read more

Visited this establishment after seeing great reviews on Yelp. We inquired about about leaving out pork of a certain dish which arrived at the table WITH pork. We ordered papaya salad which featured a with long, black hair. One entree was not ordered when the other was ordered. Needless to say, one person was finished eating by the time the other entree arrived. Upon completion of the meal, we paid for the meal using cash. The waitress took the money and bill to cash us out. (Meanwhile, we are waiting at our table). The waitress walked past us, went outside and sat on the bench and had a full 10-15 minute conversation on her cell phone!!! She came back in and ask us to wait a minute while she got our check. Not a good dining dining experience. Will not be returning. read more

We have eaten here a number of times and the owners recognize us (including the kids) as we come in, always a nice touch. Everything we have tried we liked, but especially the Papaya Salad and the Massaman Curry! Both my wife and I have dined many times in Thailand and across the US. We agree, this is as good as it gets. Headed there tonight! read more

The Shrimp Pad Tai was delicious. Nice atmosphere. This place gets my recommendations. Two thumbs up

Very good food. One of the best if not the best Thai place that I have eaten at. Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I ordered sweet and sour chicken and Pad Kaprow pork for take out. When he brought it home neither box was marked and we couldn't tell what we had. The box he gave me had tomatoes and tiny corn and a big chunk of celery - no pineapple, nothing that would look like sweet and sour chicken. His box didn't look like sweet and sour either. I tried calling the restaurant and someone picked up the phone, shouted something in the phone and disappeared. After a few minutes I called back but the line was still busy.....assuming the phone is still off the hook. I'm eating whatever this is but it is not sweet and sour chicken. It has no flavor at all, and is in a very soupy mix. My husband said his was flavorless and he couldn't tell what the meat was. This is not the same M Thai Kitchen that we used to like. read more

Great prices and amazing food! Got sauteed chicken with white rice and loved it. Portions are great as well. Will be back! read more

The worst ....ever...if you walk in at 8:30 they will do there best to let you know hey hurry up and order the cook leaves at 9 as they hover over your table annoyed that you are even in that dump...furthermore...the male owner needs a lesson in customer service and trust me...he has No experience in anger management or any type of management...as we were eating this nut case turns the lights on and says ok lets go you know we close at 9.. in the world of the restaurant business...if you close at 9 why do you still serve at 8:45...I give this husband and wife team about another 6 months if they last that long......food and service highly NOT recommended.. WORST experience ever... read more

The owners are Art and his wife Mod. The food is excellent! Ellen and I shared spring rolls and a Papaya Salad. The spring rolls were light and delicious. The salad was refreshing, spicy and unusual. Ellen had Pad Kaprow, which was an tasty mixture of subtle flavors of several vegetables and spices. The pork was tender. The owners grow their own peppers and basil which adds to the fresh taste. I had a tasty curry with chicken, potatoes, and pineapple. read more

We found the place by chance. The food was great and the people very nice. Probably the best Thai restaurant I ever had. Very flavorful. The price was also very reasonable. Even my kids loved the food. I wish I had some pictures to share but I ate so fast I didn't think about it. We will certainly return over there. read more

Best Thai food in the Annapolis area. Real deal. The lovely owner made a special Thai dish for my husband who is Thai. It is the only Thai resturant my husband will go to,the others are "not really Thai" in his words. Ask them to school you on how Thais would compose a meal.None of this order a curry and eat the whole thing yourself. and no noodles for dinner, they are a lunchtime menu only. For dinner you should share several dishes that cover the thai tastes. A soup,a curry and a stir fry with lots of veg. Also thais would usually have a fish and a condiment like Pik kapi served with fresh veggies. read more

Food is so good! We've rotated between the Pad Thai and Fried Rice (chicken, beef, and crap) and all has been amazing!

My fiance and I stopped in for a quick dinner and we were extremely pleased with the service, quality of food, and "family style" dining that they offer. We will make it a tradition to dine in periodically. read more

Best Thai food in the Annapolis area, all dishes super flavorful. Tom Kha Gai soup actually has Galangal. Red curry tasted more of curry than coconut milk which other Thai places in that area do to tone down the heat. read more

Absolutely delicious Thai cuisine. We are a family who loves Thai food and this easily ranks as one of the best Thai meals we have ever had. The helpings were also quite generous and everything was super fresh. Our favorite items were the Papaya salad, panang curry with tofu, the Kha Prow noodles, and the Fried Eggplant, which was phenomenal. read more

One of the best Thai food I have eaten! Spice level can be moderated to suit your taste. We went to this restaurant to satisfy our Thai food craving and were not disappointed! This was a first time for us. I called ahead and you can BYOB., something we did often when we lived in N.J. The food was very good and the people friendly. Glad to know we have a Thai restaurant in our backyard. read more

I like very very spicy food, I ask for thai hot and explain I want to eat fire. They accommodate my request, but always add extra red chili oil as well. I enjoy the red curry very much and appreciate they understand my request. But, here is the kicker, tooooooo damn expensive for a simple red curry shrimp dish. I ket them know that they charge too much, I get the reply, its shrimp, this is why it costs so much. I don't buy it, I've been here about 10 times, but $18 for a single serving, I'm done. Good luck m thai without my business. This is edgewater, not downtown DC. Get a grip. read more

While attempting to take my family here for our first meal at M Thai, we were intercepted shortly after entering the restaurant. The host (who was not Thai so I am not sure his association with the owners) put his hands up in an abrasive manner, moving at us physically, and announced they were short staffed and he wouldn't seat us. He was frantic and unsettling. I completely empathize with tough situations introduced by staffing problems, but he shoo'ed us out of the restaurant like we were bothering him (with what was likely to be a $150 table). Not at any moment did he either wish us back on another night or offer a drink or anything. Appalling first reception that was so rude we have not tried again. read more

First time here and had an excellent meal. Panang Chicken and Drunken Noodles were fabulous!

An unexpected find in Edgewater, this Thai venue welcomes with plenty of parking and readily available Saturday afternoon seating. An extensive menu offers familiar classics along with some dishes that are harder to find in small town Thai eateries, like larb gai and soft shell crab. Our larb gai came to the table barely warm but nicely flavored and authentically textured, spiced just right for our mixed aged group. The fried dumplings, a less traditional selection, were surprisingly tasty with a delightful dipping sauce featuring a molasses like flavor kick. The phad see-ew was a crowd pleaser, but would have benefited from a few more noodles and a tad less salt. The red curry was unusually runny, and while its flavor was full, spicy and pleasing, it was a hard one to properly eat with its overly runny broth and the larger than bite sized bamboo pieces. Our dessert, a classic mango sticky rice was delivered with the perfect dollop of hot, sticky rice, a subtle coconut topping and mangos that would have been more delightful had they been in season. While the food was all pretty good, the restaurant might spend a bit more time on the bathrooms. Dirty walls and light switches, along with empty paper towel racks and dirty toilet fixtures indicated that while the culinary arts are getting well deserved attention, the cleanliness side of things might be under neglect. Let's hope the bathroom hygiene is an anomaly, and in no way reflects standards kept in the kitchen. read more

Great Thai food! Their prices are very reasonable as well. The only other Thai place I know of in the area is Lemongrass which I don't find appealing at all. This IMO is much more authentic Thai cuisine. read more

I ordered papaya salad, pad thai, and crispy duck. The crispy duck was amazing , it was not greasy as other Thai place I tried. All the food tastes great but it was a little on sweet side for me. If they just put less sugar in the foods, it would be perfect. read more

I visited for the first time yesterday 6/22/2016, the ladies were very helpful at the counter. I ordered the veggie pad thai without tofu and pineapple fried rice. Veggie pad thai is very flavorful and great tasting. Sweet and savory i would say. I alsp picked up a pack of the dried chilli powder added a bit of a kick. Surprisingly good since it was only veggies. Did not eat the pineapple fried rice yet. I will definitely go back again and try the veggie punang. read more

Yikes. I have never written a yelp review, but I had to because this experience was just awful, embarrassing and ridiculous. This used to be my family's favorite restaurant and we were long term customers. I also used to eat here all the time because they had a good vegetarian/vegan selection. I have gone mostly raw vegan though so now when I go out to eat with family I tend to eat salads. Well, this isn't the place for substitutions clearly!! My family is dumbfounded and in shock of how they treated me. Since this was a thai restaurant I was actually excited that I could prob get a salad and they could throw in a lot of peas, peppers, bamboo shoots etc, stuff I might not get at other places to throw in.. We thought there would be no problem because i had gone out the other day with family somewhere else and they had no problem adding whatever they had to my salad and they were super happy and accommodating about it. Well, the M Thai owner was very firm in their "no substitutions" saying that they'd have to allow that for everyone. Right....but I eat differently, mostly raw I said. My family thought his response was really weird, because I had already taken 3 things off the salad, I was only asking for some peas, bell peppers, and shoots thrown in, and it was JUST A SALAD. I said okay, I'll take it without the things I said then, specifically no peanut dressing as well. Well it comes out, and it's like a completely different salad. It has like strawberries, which never was listed, and it's bathed in vinegar. I don't eat vinegar nearly at all, and didn't they say no substitutions????? They literally said no substitutions and they substituted stuff I didn't ask for all over my salad. So I told him I wasn't going to eat it. I was never rude about any of this, but they weren't being very helpful or accommodating at all. They get mad take it away and we hear them in the back bang the food into the trash. O_O. Owner comes out, red face, and says she (cook) won't make another one. So what they expect to leave someone without food and the family to just eat without them? Good family doesn't put up with that. We were so in shock and I was so dumbfounded. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. It's such a shame too because they had really good food. My mom has NEVER left no tip. Holy jeesus. They lost 3 long time customers over a salad. read more
