My mom didn't want anything grilled, so I'll need to come back to try the grilled ribs because that looked amazing too. For more flavor, choose the grill option since the lamb is covered in a cumin spice. You can get free refills for the pickled onion and carrots side dishes. The salty special tea with milk is also unique and only lightly salted. The restaurant is cozy, about six tables for 2-4 people each. A restaurant that specializes in lamb?? SAY LESS. We ordered the lamb shank/rib combo and 4 grilled ribs. This was the perfect amount of food for two people. Like others have mentioned, the food looks pretty unassuming and basic from the photos, but it's actually quite the opposite. The lamb meat was so juicy, tender, and fatty (but not in a gross way). The rice is cooked from the juices of the meat (sort of like how hainan chicken rice is cooked), so even though it looks plain, it's full of flavor and goes very well with the meat. The pickled carrots and onions also helped to cut the heaviness and you can ask for a refill of the sides. The restaurant itself is very small, they only have seats for 14 people, so if you are going with a large group, be prepared to wait. While dining, I also saw that they were cranking out a ton of to-go orders, so I guess it is very popular with the locals. The if you get the shank or leg, the meat is literally falling off the bone. It's so juicy and packed of flavor. The skewers are devine, the spices that coat it is well put together with the right ratios. Even my girlfriend who doesn't like gamey meats, lamb is one where she has difficulty enjoying loved this version of it. That showed me this meal can convert anyone into the lamb scene.
