Took my mom here. Our first time. Helen took care of my mom and she was wonderful!!! So sweet to my mom. So nice. Took time and did a really good job. The lady who did my pedi was mean from the start. She splashed hot wax out of the bags all the way up my legs, splashed water all the up to my face shaking her hands off, didn't give me as much massage time as my mom got, never smiled and then told me to put my polish away. I have been here 3 times and I have had a good experience- I go to Rosse who is very sweet, quiet and does a great job on my gel mani and pedi. I find it to be clean relaxing and staff is polite. They were late opening up. First person to arrive was scheduled to do gel full set on two other woman. Took over 20 minutes for a tech that does pedicures to appear. I tell her to work on my mom first since I was already thinking of cancelling. Every few minutes she is asking about up charges for deluxe pedicure, adding designs, waxing, etc. She hadn't even started scrubbing my mom's feet! After repeatedly saying no and turning down repeated request to do gel polish. She cuts moms long nails to near flesh! I was soaking almost a whole hour before tech comes to check my water which at that point was ice cold. She adds hot water then turns on my massage chair that violently starts to beat me. There is a yelp discount on check in. When going to check out I ask if I can apply it to this visit. Woman takes my phone from behind the cash register at the front, stops speaking English and proceeds to walk around the salon interrogating other salon workers. What was even more strange was one of the workers saying "I do not speak Chinese/Vietnamese," when the woman approached? Ultimately the woman did decide to accept the discount. This just wasn't a pleasant experience and was my last! The first time I tried this place was because of a friend's recommendation. They took me right away as a walk in and were just as nice as they could be. The place was clean and my pedicure looks great. First of all she wasn't paying attention and watching the news on her tablet and the nail polish on my feet looked like it was done by a 5 year old and when she did my pink n whites they looked lumpy, misshapen, and unprofessional. This place is by far the worst nail place I have ever been to! I went in for my first time since it was close to my house I figured I'd give it a try. I asked for gel polish on my toes. No pedicure. The lady starts to clean off my toes and then puts my feet in the water. I thought oh wow. Just for gel polish they really are going above and beyond. Now I know for a FACT they didn't misunderstand. They pretend they do and then do whatever they want! I called to ask if the employees there speak proper English because I can guarantee they don't make any mistakes undercharging. I came in for a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax. I chose my color and sat down for my pedicure. Dipped my feet in the water and it was too hot! I let it air out a little and finally put my feet in. The nail tech did a good job with my feet. We moved to the next station to do my manicure. She took out the drill to remove dome remainder acrylic and it burns! So no more drills on my hands I prefer a nail file, I don't care if it takes longer it doesn't hurt. She was gentle with my hands and did a decent job. I dried my nails and then moved to the next station for my eyebrows. This time it was a different lady. She was nice and listened to how I wanted my eyebrows to look. She did a great job, much better than another nail salon I've been frequenting. I gave this place 3 stars but I'll definitely come again, this time I'll request warm water and no drills on my hands. I got my nails done here about 3 times and within those time my nails always break/crack . It never fails when I get them done here . Imagine spending money on nails that last about 2 days ?? I went back to get it fix , the lady seemed annoyed and was rush thru it , she was back and forth taking care of me and a customer . And it took about 30-40 min just to try and fix 1 nail . I've been going to Lysa's nails for 4 years now & I've always had a great experience. My nail tech Linda is the only one i go to and she does an amazing job. I used to get gel Polish but it started to damage my nails. I was going to quit getting my nails done all together but I was introduced to Nexgen nails. Much better! Linda does such a great job with color suggestions (instead of my white all the time) and application of the nexgen. It last about a month worth no chipping at all. The staff is very kind and accommodating even if I'm running in 30 min before closing time. I have moved to another state but whenever I come back I always get my nails done by Linda. Unlike most nail salons they use plastic in the water basin instead of just the basin and that is a plus for me. read more

I just went in to get nextgen and it looked terrible so I had it removed and was STILL charged for a "manicure" and my nails are now tinted greenish yellow in the cuticles. She didn't even remove the powder correctly and now I'm left with gross looking nails. Don't come to this place unless you want your nails to look worse than before. read more

And I don't think they clean the tools after they have been used, so disappointed. If I could give this place a negative star rating I would ! The only nail salon that doesn't guarantee their service I got a gel manicure after 4 days it peeled off . I went in and paid for a polish change since I had just had a manicure 4 days before , Helen applied the new polish and it bubbled but not having time I hoped for the best . 2 days later it peeled again . I went in on Christmas Eve to see if they would fix it and I was more than happy to wait . They agreed but then explained that they don't guarantee their polish changes . Either way I paid for a service and this is the only nail salon that doesn't Guarantee their work . It's sad . Gel should last more than 5 days between two visits . Yesterday I came in at 5:45, 15 mins prior to them closing on a weekend. I came in said I need one nail repaired with Nexgen. When I walked in the employees looked stunned. There was a gentleman working there that was simply folding up aluminum foil while two other women were waiting to get there nails done. The rest of the 4 technicians were busy with clients. One of women that works there decided to raise her concerns and voice what every employee there was thinking the second I walked in, "Ma'am we close in 15 mins and we have two people ahead of you is there any chance you can come tomorrow?" I said no there is not a chance, I would like my nail to be fixed today. After arguing back and forth saying she just doesn't want me to wait that long and obviously she just wanted to go home. I asked the man why can't you fix my nail you're sitting there doing nothing. He did not reply. I have come to this salon twice before, I have been treated nicely by the other lady that has done my nails in the past. But after the events of yesterday and being refused service, when I arrived before closing for one simple repair. I decided I will take my business else where. This place is unprofessional, and doesn't want to make money. The reviews that show and their ratings say a lot about this business. People go to a salon to be pampered and be distracted from reality. This place has lost the meaning of customer service, if they even ever had it.
