Service has gotten waaaay better! I really like the quality of nails here but I didn't like the vibe from the male nail techs before but I started going back last year and it has completely changed. So every month I started going back here because the vibe and the service got better as well they do nails better than other places I have been to. It is 5 minutes away from me and I always do a walk in and have tried all the nail techs and I have to say they all do nails really well. I have been to other places trying to find a nicer looking place but the quality of nails I don't like and it cost more. So far this place is affordable and the quality is good. No complaints. They always listen to my requests. Keep up the good quality service, and the atmosphere is definitely peaceful now. I also have done a few pedicures and so far it's good. I recommend you try a different nail tech until you find the one you like. The men and the women techs have really good skills. I went to one in oak park and have tried places in other states when I went to vacation and they were not as good as the ones in this nail salon. The lady in the back was so rude! She over charged me and didn't finish her service! I informed her my nail was burning and she said " you have to wait till I'm done" I told her no "my nail is burning please spray it." She said "yes you have to wait!" When I said fine I do not want you doing my nails she then got up to spray my nail and started laughing. I will never go back to that place again. Aside from that she mixed the powders together to make more. Making the color the wrong color I went in for a full in had to take them off and do a new set. I visited this nail shop 2 weeks ago with a friend. I called ahead to see if they were busy and was told there was no wait. However, it was a 30-45 minute wait before I was actually assisted with my services. I worked with Sophia, I believe. She was super sweet once she warmed up to me. She was a little rough when doing my pedicure, but once I spoke to her about it, there was no additional issues. When I selected a no-chip matching set (with regular polish), she advised me that the non-chip and the regular polish did not exactly match -- this was a life savior. This avoided her placing the color on my toes and then having to remove the color, since it would not be the exact match with my hands. I ended up loving the color we selected instead. I received a gel fill-in on my nails, which she did a great job. I received the pedicure with paraffin wax. I would recommend that they invest in the plastic liners, just as a safety percussion. As far as pricing goes, they are relatively comparable to most nail salons. However, their paraffin wax service is roughly $62, if I remember correctly. They have a staff of like 10 employees, so outside of the initial wait, you are in and out relatively quickly. If you forget your flip flops, they have actually flip flops for $5. They also offer your bottled water while you are being serviced. read more

My niece and I have been going here for the past two months abd I would say they do fairly well on nails . the issue I had is they charge me different prices for the same service I get every 3 weeks which is a gel fill in and cut down, the price ranges from $35-$45 depending on who did my nails, I asked a manager why is this an issue and he couldn't explain and I did not see a price board up anywhere with prices unless it was hidden in a corner somewhere. my niece also accompanied me and she got a regular maniicure which she was also charged a ridiculous price of $75 which is outrageous, the tech told her he did something special for her feet but she never was told a cost in advance or asked if she wanted the extra service, unfortunately her feet still had dry skin on it, she was very disappointed, I never heard of a regular manicure being so expensive. read more

Ok, not my best experience, and pricier. I naturally have long nails, but the guy doing my nails used a file to remove the top layer of my nail just to do no-chip. Let me start off by saying that i came here 2 weeks ago for full pink and white set. Service was decent and Nan is the guy who did my nails. So I decided to return for a fill in with him. I called a few days and spoke to Nan to come in today at 11am. He took down my name and number and everything was set. Today I walk in and let me say he did not even greet me he actually looked over me and spoke to the other ladies who were seated so that was a red flag i waited then as he proceeded to turn around and walk away I said hey I have a 11am appt with you and its 11:04 not mentioning that he had someone already in his chair. He then said I called you and as we were going back and forth he read the wrong number. Then said sorry. He told me to calm down but I was simply stating that what he was doing was unprofessional and what is the point of an appt if you cant honor it. It took me a few min to get there as it was heavy traffic and I had to park 1 block away I mean no 5 min grace period---I feel like sometimes we have to wait a few minutes to get our nails/feet done and you can take me because you called the wrong number that's a you problem not ME. He then said well if you want to wait or I could go somewhere else. No worries you wont see me again and receive my business. The lack of professionalism and being nonchalant really struck a nerve but I simply said okay and walked out. I called another place in Melrose Park Jade Nails and they were able to take me right away and did a good job plus they were friendly and had good customer service which is huge something that Luxury nails do not possess. They do everything and their prices are reasonable! Try out Jade nails! If you live in the area and are getting some tacos from Taconazo or Torres, stop in and get yo nails did. Definitely worth calling in advance to schedule an appointment especially during weekends and holidays. I was fortunate that they had an appointment available within 30 minutes of me calling them. I actually arrived 20 minutes late and I felt apprehensive that my appointment would be cancelled but it wasn't. YAY! All the workers greeted me with a smile and I was taken the my pedicure chair immediately. Their are three types of pedicures: the $22 regular pedi, the $32 in-between pedi (or as I like to call it the "teaser"), and $42- you goin' all out pedi. I highly recommend the $42 regardless of how much work you need done because the hot stone foot massage is AMAZING. My pedicurist took her time massaging my feet and legs with the different essentials oils, honey, and lotions that come with this option. I almost flipped out when I seen an USB outlet on the chair..(You can charge your phone while getting your feet done. !@#@!$$%$%^$%) OK, so apart from the cool chairs, I had a full set of acrylic nails done and they turned out nice and smooth. One of the male workers stated that if you break anyone of them between now and your next visit, they will repair your nail at no cost. If you come in as a walk-in and need a quick mani/pedi, communicate that with the workers. My pedicurist prided herself in taking her time but she is also able to speed things up at your request. As a new client I received a 10% discount - YAY! Just the word "discount" can make someone's day. It's the little things that count here. read more

I was very hesitant to try this place since it opened, however, my sisters insisted I give it a try... Nail tech Sophia is my absolute favorite. She is AMAZING and gave me a no chip that lasted 4 weeks!!! AND they offer a 1 week warranty if it chips, they fix it. I also had my acrylics done here and she did them EXACTLY how I wanted them (perfect shape/length). I am always happy with the results and I get a number of compliments on my nails every time.
