Yesterday I went in and had a pedicure not sure which one I got but it was the best one on the menu. OMG worth every penny !! I have been talking to them about how I had just finished moving over the last three days from the 3rd flr to the 3rd flr between working 12 hour shifts bartending on my feet and my feet in my legs, just being so sore and exhausted. And the woman took care of me so great it was the best pedicure I have EVER had. And I go in and get a pedicure at least twice a mibyg and I've done it all over the city the last 22 yrs ..BEST EVER. I had pulled some sort of muscle that was in my big toe and it was so sore that every time I flexed my big toe up it down I could feel the pain travel up the back of my leg. After she finished the massage the pain is COMPLETELY gone and prior to it it actually hurt every step that I took. She really rubbed my feet and calfs gave a little bit of extra attention because she knew I just moved I think. I can't believe a pedicure and foot massage can remove the pain I was feeling from that over worked muscle. YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS SALON.

They are quite affordable, yet professional. They always run many specials every month that can be viewed on their website. Each month, they add additional seasonal treatments to their already tremendous amount of services. For services there, I've had a hot oil scalp massage, microdermabrasion, and a mud wrap & salt glow. They are a small operation, so scheduling isn't always the easiest but worth it when you get in. I've played a lot of phone tag with them to get scheduled. I really wish they had online scheduling like almost all other spas these days! I've actually gone to other places twice because I was able to instantly schedule an appointment for the day and time needed rather than wait to have them call me back. For this reason I'd take away a star, rating them a 4. I hope they read this and consider adding an online scheduling feature at some point, the sooner the better. They are easy to find, with plenty of parking in a private lot. Comparing them to other area spas, I'd say they lose a star for décor. While although nice inside, I still think they could improve on the spa feel overall. Little details can go a long way. Service wise itself, I'd rank them 5 stars. I wish you could rank them in different categories on Yelp. That being said, I can't wait to go back for a hot oil massage. They have 5 kinds to chose from based on your specific needs. I called the salon/spa as soon as we hung up with his sister. The person that answered the phone said it was no issue and she was very kind. Unfortunately, later that evening we received an email stating we were no-shows and we were then charged $300 on our credit card. I called to speak to the owner on Monday. Instead of being, compassionate and kind she lectured me on how many visits I had to cancel in the past year. She agreed to the refund but inferred that I am not welcome back and also would not let-up on the cancellation history. We've been frequent guests at BVI over the years and even held our daughter's wedding shower there in 2024. It's disappointing that an experience at Luxe has now colored how I feel about the property as a whole, given how loyal we've been. Of the appointments I did need cancel for medical reasons (13 over the course of a year), my shortest notice was 9 days and longest was 108, averaging about 7 weeks. That's real time to fill those slots, not someone trying to hurt the business. Their cancellation policy states no less than 24 hours notice is required. I did well over that each time. I typically would book months in advance because securing the people I want and the dates/times I want is not easy if I wait too close to the dates/times I need. This causes me to have to adjust the appointments at times due to medical issues I was having at that time. I explained this to the owner, but she still was very aggressive and heartless.

There has been 1 or 2 other girls that have done my nails a few times over the years and they too were awesome. Never had a single complaint. No need for UV light! We were seated at the manicure bar right away despite my daughter's appointment being an hour after mine. My technician, Kelly, was super friendly, fast, and very skilled! The decor and vibe are glam, relaxing, and very clean. The other tech seated next to us chatted with us as well. The seats are comfortable. I asked if I should move to the reception area while my nails dried for the five minutes recommended by the Dazzle Dry manufacturer but they told me I could stay where I was. Kelly started on my daughter's nails and gave her a gorgeous manicure! Despite being booked for 3:30, and 4:30 we were finished, cashed out, and home by shortly after 4:30!
