I'm a waitress and in school. I work crazy hours. This week after working 76 hours and doing 42 miles and 918 flights of stairs on the clock I was so sore I was having nightmares. I cried walking the steps to my apartment. I needed to treat myself or else I was going to rip mg aching legs off. I got the deluxe pedicure on Monday and it was all I needed and more. I could walk without limping. I wasn't dreaming about giants ripping my legs off my body anymore. It was perfect and I can finally wear sandals without being ashamed. Today I decided to go back for a manicure. I have ugly hands after having broken several fingers when I was young that never set properly. Plus dry hands and cracked cuticles from being a waitress and nursing student. Firstly this was the most fairly priced full set I've ever gotten. Secondly even with my cracked, dry, hellish cuticles there wasn't any pain. Thirdly for once I actually want to show off my hands instead of hiding them. Horrible service!!!! The woman that speaks English was sooooo rude, never experienced such a bad customer service. I brought my friend (who btw is not fluent in English) and since this is her first time getting her nails done, she didn't know what to get and the woman was not patient at all and was just rude to her ALL the time!! We just decided to leave the place and she still charged us $5 for a bad and incomplete job! I told her that she had no right to talk to my friend like that and responded that it was because she didn't know what she wanted. No wonder the place was empty. read more

My daughter and I ended up here because we were a walk-in, and we tried two other neighborhood places and both were too busy to accommodate us. We both got mani/pedis and they did a lovely job. My daughter asked for rainbow nails and then smeared them, and they didn't complain about it in the least, just redid them and were very sweet to her. I've since gone back 5 times, and brought my mom and sister. Luxe does the only dip I've ever liked, and I've tried it a bunch. It always peeled off at the corners, but not theirs. Wanted to try somewhere new in Arvada to get my nails done and honestly, I'm not impressed at all by this nail salon. My pedicure was extremely short and I was done in half of the time that my friend I was with was. I also could've done a better job painting my nails myself. The shellac manicure is one of the worst I've ever gotten. Numerous nails have the polish off of my nails and when the lady realized it, she tried to cut it off one of them which pulled my skin off and I started to bleed. She didn't apologize, but just pretended like nothing happened. The color is uneven and just honestly looks terrible. I got them done on Saturday and by Monday, one of the nails had completely peeled off. The whole point in getting shellac is so it lasts long... I've never had it come off that quick. Disappointed that I spent $65 on the services and am confused by the great reviews, I guess it all depends on who provides your service but the lady I had was terrible. I'll never come back here. I will say they have a great selection of colors, but that's about the only good thing I have to say. **Updating from 2 stars to 1. It's been 8 days since I got my nails done here and 5 shellac nails have now peeled completely off. What a complete waste. Don't come here. read more

A bit pricy for shellac but they do a FLAWLESS job and in only 30 minutes- even for a French shellac mani. Talkative but not too chatty. When I need a quick, beautiful mani with no wait, this is my go-to! They do offer a reward program and i believe you can earn discounts though yelp or Facebook. Dawn and her sister are very welcoming and do great jobs on everything. Dawn did a fantastic job on my dipped nails and my pedicure. She takes her time and makes sure you are happy along the way. I called here and they were able to get me in immediately and fixed my nails right up with a dip treatment. Cannot recommend them highly enough. I've been there 3 times. I'm torn, the first two visits were great. Yesterday's not so much. The good: I've gotten the dip nails, I loved them. They're pretty and durable. I've never had to wait for any service - which is nice! The pedicures are so great, never felt rushed and enjoyed every minute of it. Caroline was amazing! They have a reward program which is nice, and included a discount for my birthday. The bad: Yesterday's visit flat out sucked! I had the guy help me. I am completely unimpressed with his skills and care for quality. My fingers are sore today, I've got two fingers that have cuts and scrapes on them from the file and drill tool. He didn't bother to cut back my cuticles or clean up the skin until asked. He went out of order for the steps and would forget fingers until reminded. There is so much overflow of product on my skin I had to come home and refile areas of product on my skin and then there was an area of bare nail showing. Normally they've always done 3 layers of dip - he did 2 on a white sparkle and the color looks nude - which isn't what I was going for. And to top it off he left a black speck on my white sparkle polish - WTF?? He seemed irritated when I mentioned my concerns and spoke so quietly when he did respond. We will see how they hold up, I'm not convinced they'll make it the typical 3 weeks. Verdict: Not sure if I'll return. There are so many places near, I CANNOT chance having him again for $45 and leaving disappointed. read more

I highly recommend Luxe Nail for Dip Nails, Acrylics and Pedicures. My nails last 3+ weeks with no breaks and they have a great color selection. Caroline, Dawn and Mikki all do a great job with Dip/Acrylic nails. My Dip nails are very thin and smooth. Pedicures at Luxe easily last 3-4 weeks and they have a few different levels of service to choose from as well. The nail techs are very friendly are really take their time. The nail salon is simple but does not smell like chemicals. I always make an appointment so I can see the nail tech of my choosing but they do accept walk in's as well. Very pleasant experience. They were able to get my mom and I in right away for a mani - pedi. They offered us a special on the service so we treated ourselves to an upgrade at the same cost. I have been seeing Mikki and her sister, Dawn for the last couple years. I am OCD and a cuticle out of place will make me pick at my nails. Mikki knows this and takes great care of my nails! She is friendly and knowledgeable. She also does some kick ass nail art! Not only am I OCD but I'm also indecisive and Mikki has gotten to know my taste and takes charge. She suggest colors and designs! I really enjoy coming here and never had I seen rewards programs for nail providers! Oh she's pretty good at waxing too! Make sure to try the spa pedicure deluxe as they do hot stone massage and exfoliation!!! It's the best when they stick your foot in hot wax!! All in all this is a must try!!!! read more

I've always had good pedicures here, but my last pedicure was a disaster. A very rough scrubbie thing was used on my calluses which left me with six bloody slices on my feet. It hurts to walk. Two of my cuticles were also cut and bled. Probably won't go back. read more

Eh. I have to say this was not a great experience. Good points - I think my polish is applied correctly. However everything else just lacked. When taking my gel polish off I felt like my cuticles were going to get scraped off. It was much too rough. The hand and arm "massage" lasted abt 90 seconds. It should be the most enjoyable part of a manicure. It wasn't. Maybe the gentleman I saw was having an off day. Unfortunately, I can't see coming back. read more

While the staff is friendly, and I had a good pedicure, my dip pink and white was very lumpy and uneven.

I've been here a number of times and have always had good experiences with powder dips on my nails, but I just had the worst pedi yesterday. They weren't filed to the corners and I had to ask to have my cuticles done. The polish is all clumpy and even in my skin in some places. I will have to redo them myself in the next day or two. Love love love this Nail Salon! I just moved here, I had been going to the same nail salon for 6 years because I'm very stingy with my nails and found this place via yelp. I live downtown Denver so it's a bit of a drive but they are well worth it, definitely the sweetest, always smiling, asking questions as they care about you. Plus, they introduced me into powder instead of shellac or acrylics. If you have thin nails, this is the only way to grow your own. Lastly, their prices are very good, very reasonable! We came in with four adults and three kids for a family ladies day and the while staff were soooo lovely and welcoming. I had the deluxe pedicure and then decided to try a dip manicure. Both were amazing. I'm not a manicure person because it's usually destroyed within an hour but the dip manicure is awesome. 2 weeks later and still going strong. I get compliments galore. I've been customer over 8 years my daughters nails were recently done for school booth ten. They look worse than Lee press on, lumpy and divided on the sides, took her back for correction I was told the same person that messed them up could redo them or I would have to pay. This is two days after getting full set. Thank Autumn for treating me as though it's my fault they are messed I should have come back in 24 hours (her father brought her not I, or I would not have left)when there is no policy posted and my child was in school.
