They got me in as a walk-in immediately, but there was only one pedicurist ("Tammy" of course haha) available so I got a long soak in the footbath. But everyone was all smiles and friendly, the place seemed clean, and they got me in and out in good time. The pedi was good quality, at typical price ($25). That included a mini-massage with the mint gel on the lower legs, too. So that was nice. I do notice that the polish doesn't seem as thick / long-lasting as other places I've gone. I did choose an Opi polish in a beautiful glittery blue, and was perfectly happy with the results for my event that evening. It's close to home and I would return. read more

I was not disappointed, they were able to get me in right away (1 pm on a Saturday no less) for a full set and pedicure. I also loved the interior decor, it had a lot of personality and vibrant plants and flowers everywhere unlike most salons who have pretty much nothing on the walls. They are requiring masks and appointments, spacing customers apart, wearing face shields, masks and gloves, and have plastic shields on each nail station as well! The most mediocre pedicure I have ever had. Felt rushed throughout the entire experience. My toe nails were shaped crooked and the paint started coming off 6 hours later. The "massage" consisted of a handful of hot rocks wrapped in a wash cloth being patted against my legs. A good idea maybe, but executed poorly. They were nice and friendly but for $30 I expect more. Tony is so great. It's been extremely hard to find a good nail place around belmar that I can sneak off too in between clients at my salon. Last nail salon I went to in belmar he refused to do coffin nails on me saying they would break too easily even though...I'm the client...and thats what I want? Tony asked me exactly how I wanted everything and even double checked every step of the way to make sure I was happy which I very much was! and all their pedicures are one price!! If you are in a big hurry this might be a good place to go. I've been only once. I was able to walk-in without an appointment and requested a polish change on my nails. She talked me into a manicure (not really needed but I agreed at only $5 more). Very friendly staff! The manicure was only $15 and the fastest manicure I've had in my life! Unfortunately the polish did not hold up very well at all! I had my first chip after about 24 hours, and then within 2 days 4 nails had already chipped. I have been going to X3 nails for years and have always loved the job they do. Tammy and Tony are very welcoming and like to talk, but aren't extremely chatty. I usually get a pedicure here and am always satisfied with the comfy massage chairs, the warm bubbling water, and the beautiful job they do. I also came here when I had acrylic nails and Tony always did a great job. I've never done any waxing here, but my mom does and I think she seems to like them as well. They are usually pretty busy on the weekends, so I'd suggest going on a weekday and be prepared to wait for maybe 5-10 minutes before getting in. read more

Worst pedicure ever! Old dirty chairs and foot baths. The tech was rough, causing pain at times, especially when she was digging out a supposed ingrown toe nail. Let's leave that to the podiatrist. The massage consisted of putting warm rocks in an old rag and slapping them hap-hazardly on my feet and legs. Finally, the polish job sucks and wasn't just on my nails. A friend of mine loves this place. She says they do a great job at massaging her hands and feet, that's why I decided to give them a try. The first time I went (I went back to see if it was a one time occurrence) I called, made an appt for a mani-pedi and I talked to the male owner (I believe he and his wife own the place). I was looking forward to a relaxing experience, but that was not the case. They were trying to get me out the door, as they were in a rush to leave. If they knew they didn't have enough time to do the mani-pedi, they should have let me know so I could reschedule. The male owner even had my manicure done in a rush, while I was getting my pedicure done. What's up with that. No time for a massage, of course. I gave them a second chance, but was not impressed at all. I think they have some regular clients that they treat well (my friend is probably one of them). Just went to X3 for the first time even though I've lived in this neighborhood most of my life. Tammy did a great job on my pedicure and eyebrow waxing. The shop is clean, the people are friendly (although they don't speak much English), and the prices are reasonable. What more can you ask for from a nail salon? I thought it was very sweet of Tammy to offer to do touch ups if I have any chips or accidents on my pedicure. Definitely a great find in Belmar! read more

Received an OK pedi. Walked in and was helped right away. Staff was friendly but aloof. Atmosphere is seriously lacking and on the verge of cluttered, though the huge fish in the tanks did keep my daughter entertained. They only have 3 pedi chairs. Pedi lasted good amount of time and they wanted to make sure I felt comfortable to come back in if my polish chipped, which was nice. Overall a good experience but not amazing. read more

I did have to wait a very long time, which I assume was because it was super busy, i didn't mind because it was a great upbeat environment. I really want to like this place and I've given it 3 tries. The first time was great because they wanted me to come back (since they knew I was a new customer) second time was mediocre for a pedicure didn't really file my toe nails, no nail buffing, paid extra for callous remover and barely got a massage. This last and final time I paid extra for callous remover and my feet are so rough right now. Went through the motions and didn't actually check to see if more was needed. There was no foot scrub either. It's less than 12 hours later and the heels of my feet are so rough like nothing was even touched. I got ZERO massage because two ladies came in while I was half way done and I was just a person to rush through so that the guy and only other woman working could provide a pedicure at the same time to these ladies. I don't know what shape my nails are supposed to be whether they're square or round. It was so rushed and I'm so unhappy and really feel like I wasted my money. It's supposed to be a treat for myself and now I have to wait longer to actually enjoy a pedicure. read more

Awful. I will never go here again! I showed up when they opened in the morning, but to my surprise they were still closed... A few minutes later a car pulls up and the employees slowly walk up to the door to open. I asked for a new set of acrylics. Bad choice on my part, these guys like to just rip the old set off by scraping a tip between the old set and your nail. Needless to say he split my real nail. Deep. If you've ever done this you know how painful this is. I begged him to just soak off the rest... Even though yes I know it will take more time! What's worse is the price and quality. $50 for a new set??? And they didn't last a week before they began lifting and catching hairs every time I would run my fingers through my hair. AND they yellowed! Once I had enough I went back to my tried and true location "XO Nails" on Broadway and Hampden. They had to give me a whole new set instead of a rebase because of the incredibly poor quality. So a whole new set was put on AND it only cost $30. And these guys won't yellow or lift on me either. Long story short, don't go here. Take a little more time and drive to XO NAILS instead. You'll get much better service and quality there. read more

I apologize to the staff for taking so long to write this review. X3 nail salon when I was in town on vacation back in June from Illinois. I was going out to dinner with my boyfriend that evening at Ivy a nice restaurant. I had my nails done before I went on vacation but hiking around Estes Park did a number on my polish. When I walked into x3 at 6:15 the staff was getting ready to go home. I pled my dire need to get my nails done for the evening and a male and female staff member agreed to stay late and help me. Stating that they wanted me to remember Colorado and my trip with pleasant memories. The man filled my gel nails while the female put the polish off of my toes. They worked their magic when we're finished in just under an hour. My nails turned out spectacular I love the shape the fill with perfect allowing my cuticles to breathe and thin enough to look natural. I had my nails painted in an OPI pale neon green that I love so much I had to purchase. If I am ever in Denver I now know where I'm going to go to get my nails done!!! read more

First off, I'd like to say that I don't write reviews. Ever. Second, having worked in retail/customer service for a long time, it's very important to me. One Sunday night I was looking to get my nails done, I'm not terribly picky so any place would have done. Thankfully they were all closed and I had to wait until Monday and boy am I glad I did! I wandered into X3 after work, enjoying the mood-appropriate lighting, nothing terribly bright or annoying. I want to relax when I'm doing this sort of thing, ya know? First impression is very warm and inviting, not bland like most salons. They seemed busy for a Monday night, with several customers already in chairs. Tony greeted me and let me know he'd be with me in just a moment. So I picked out a color from their extremely organized polish shelf and plopped into a chair. Tony turned out to be my tech for the evening! It was wonderful to find out that X3 has been there for 15 years (with a long time client sitting next to me chiming in and raving about their service.) Instead of chatting with other employees, he made the effort to ask me about myself, how I found the salon, etc. Every step of the way asking if my nails looked good, if the length was right. You know the drill. I'm pretty particular about how my nails are shaped, most of the time, I have to go home and fix them because the salon just doesn't get it right and I don't want to have to deal with explaining. Instead, he looked at my nails, confirmed the "style" and got it on the first shot! Not a "crooked" nail tip to be found or a "can you fix that" to be uttered! Tony was super gentle with the file, cleaned under the nails after shortening them & didn't burn my nail bed with the electric grinder thing or any of the horrific stuff that most of us have experienced! He even made sure that I still liked the color, after painting all my nails. Tony artfully bounced between customers, helping if needed, all with a timing that was incredible. I never once felt neglected or that he was spreading himself to thin so to speak. This was by far my best salon experience, right down to the colored marbles in the sink (I know it sounds silly but it's such a cool idea and goes to show how a small personal touch can add to the atmosphere!) It's a shame that "excellent" is the highest review I can give them because they deserve so much more! Attention to detail is EVERYTHING and X3 nails it! read more

Walked in here because we wanted to find a new place. They got us in right away for a pedi and full set. My pedicure was completely rushed thru with barely any massage or scrub. She got my nails on in between during my pedi. Then I had to wait longer to be switched to someone else to finish my nails. My service was off and on during my nails. He was working on two of us at the same time back and forth. My nail shape is terrible and not what I asked for, my polish was a mess I had to repaint them. Now that it has been three days the acrylic is already lifting. The only positive is that the owners are very nice and try and make conversation. Definitely wouldn't go back I am scared to even go back to see if they can fix the nails they gave me. read more
