They are very reliable and seem to do a lot or research into the products they use, the new ways to do things, and how to consistently offer the best for their clients. This is a great shop with lots of different available services. I've only done my nails so far, but they do eyelashes, pedicures, waxing, etc. If those services are anything like the nails I've had for the past two years, this is the only place you'll ever need to go.

The manicure and pedicure were excellent, and I was especially impressed by the wide selection of regular nail polish colors - something that's often limited at other salons. It's been a week and a half since my visit, and my nails still look great, even after a beach trip and lots of dishwashing. Sadly, you have to do your homework to find safey and sanitation practices that are legit (and don't just *appear* to be), especially in this industry. Second, I haven't had a mani or pedi in several years after becoming more educated about the toxic chemicals that are *routinely* used in this industry. Once you learn a little, you can't unlearn it and you think differently about nail spas. Third, this salon rocked it. In my hour and a half pedi, which speaks to the attention to detail, all by itself, I observed several folks come and go, watched staff clean and disinfect not only the basin and tools, but also the seats and the headrests. Not just spraying the basin down but really scrubbing it and rinsing really well. Thank you! Small things like using no plastic to seal the tools means less for our landfill. Using hand towels and requiring every customer to wash their hands before each appointment, and staff to wash before and after - these little things add up. My pedi? It was heavenly. Yes, I splurged and it was completely worth it. Every polish and shellac polishes are all non toxic - this matters as these are going right on your nail bed. So excited to have found a clean, non toxic and high quality nail spa. Already looking forward to returning!

I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years but enough is enough. I have watched what was a once…read morebustling business esp on the weekends and it is not any more, and it seems clear why. I went from going every two weeks to every three weeks because prices climbed--something I completely understand but that is not an excuse for increasingly poor service. First they dropped hand massages, then lotion, then oil, and now having your nails cut down, shaped, or your cuticles done are extra services you have to pay for though other salons make clear when they offer them to you as a part of transparency in pricing. They are doing a needed update, finally including their products, but warning now the only nonshellac polishes are in a book of two pages, so don't expect to be get much choice if you don't want shellac--also they took out the station to dry your non shellac mani/pedi. Then there's the quality --my last shellac turned dark in a week at the bottom (first time in 20 years and I told it's not their fault.). I have always been bothered by the fact k out the margin between cuticle and polish is larger than recommended and they already looking a bit grown out and knowing this means it won't last as long, but because I liked the manicures I didn't complain. But this time, that is EXACTLY the issue as oil etc got beneath the manicure and it chipped at well, and I got told that happens--then it's time not to spend $50 for something that can't last more than 7 days. What has made me decide to stop going after over 2 decades is the true disrespect of their customers. Yes, small businesses are taught to offer a compliment to make it seem like you care but they also teach you do not keep customers who have appointments waiting so you can get another customer in. I wait at least 15 minutes, sometimes as long as 30 min, at least every other time. Our time is as valuable as yours, and I'm sorry when it happen 50% of the time (or the techs are taking personal calls on their phones), that is NOT acceptable. Your time is no more valuable than your customers and this disrespect is now standard here. If you really are sorry, then either offer a discount or a free added service and DON"T continue to do the same thing making it clear you just don't value your regulars. Meanwhile, I see the spa down the street actually posts their prices and what they include as well as the add ons, and hand massages are sill part of basic service--think I'll give them a try and hopefully find a salon that values loyal customers.

Then my tech--an older lady--got to the callus remover part and accidentally sliced my toe. I definitely felt something, but I wasn't sure what it was at first. She stopped immediately, didn't say anything, and kind of kept covering the spot and checking it. She had me put my foot back in the hot water and then just moved on to my other foot. No sugar scrub, no finishing touches on the one she hurt. Every time I tried to peek at it, she gently tugged my foot back. So I was trying to convince myself it wasn't that bad. Paid full price, tipped $10 because I used to work in service and I just can't not tip... and then the second I put my sock and shoe on, I realized oh no, it is that bad. When I stepped outside and finally got a look, yep--she really did slice some skin off. I'll post pictures, so if you're squeamish about blood, maybe skip those. I won't be coming back, but honestly, they did an amazing job on my friend's feet, so at least one of us walked out happy!

I've been having my nails done here for 15+ years. Marie does my nails and Kelly does my toes and…read morethey do beautiful work. I am tough on my nails due to my job so Marie uses gels on top of acrylic and I rarely have a break. Kelly uses gels on my toes and these are the best pedicures ever, lasting easily for a month and still looking shiny and freshly done. This is a friendly, fun shop and I look forward to catching up with them every other week. Saturdays wouldn't be the same without freshly painted nails and fun chatter!
