Unfortunately, my experience at TT Nails was disappointing. Let me start by saying, I know these are all first world problems. My honest review is that I had a few problem spots on my nails that needed to be redone, and I want to give credit to my nail tech because she was lovely and happily repaired them for me. I gave 3 stars because my nail tech was so lovely. However, while my nails were still wet, two other customers came in and were waiting. A different technician seemed eager to get me out of the chair and rushed me out before my pedicure was actually dry. Of course, as soon as I put my slippers on, they touched the wet polish and messed up the pedicure I had just paid $38 for. I understand that a salon can get busy, but clients shouldn't be rushed out before their nails are dry just because other people are waiting. I appreciated how kind and accommodating my original nail tech was, but the way the visit ended left me pretty disappointed. read more

I was a walk-in customer and needed something very simple and clean since I had a wedding the next day. When I explained my situation, they were super understanding and immediately assigned me to their most experienced technician, Kevin. Kevin did an amazing job--especially for a last-minute appointment--and honestly went beyond my expectations. I originally planned on a simple nude look, but we talked about a cat-eye style and once he applied it, I loved it. They also offered water for me and my fiancé, which was such a nice touch. Several of my neighbors have been here and were satisfied so I decided to schedule a manicure and pedicure. Kim was assigned to do both and after her recommendation I decided to upgrade the pedicure. She was friendly, however, my fingernails were not filed after she clipped them and several nails chipped within a few days. Getting my nails done in a completely different state was a very nerving decision to make. I called ahead and they had availability for me right away. I walked in and had both my pedicure and a full set of nails done in the same chair. It worked out perfectly because I didn't have to struggle walking around The room with wet toenails. Also the manager David was exceptionally skilled in esthetics like nails. He asked me what I wanted and did exactly that. Probably the best full set of nails I have ever put on my hands and ironically on the other side of the country. So grateful and so thankful. We were able to get an appt same day for a pedicure. They have nice massage chairs to sit in while you get your pedicure. Foot baths were nice. The two ladies that gave us the pedicures were very friendly. One was more talkative than the other. The place sells snacks for $1.50. One thing that bothered me was she painted my toe nails with a clear coat and then one coat of color paint but no top coat. And then she just disappeared and went to paint someone else's nails. I sat there for like ten min and was like, is it dry? Can I leave? Not a big deal but other than that, overall decent experience m. $40 for the mid tier pedicure plus $10 tip. read more

Subpar nails done by the older gentleman. I got a regular mani and gel pedi and the mani was fine but already chipped by the time I got to the car. I should have asked for another layer (only two was done) but it was dark and I couldn't tell until I left. The gel mani was the worst though. As seen in the photos, multiple nails have pooling at the cuticle and the edges are not clean at all. I had him correct some nails that weren't filled but you can see the layers in the patch job he did. This gel mani looks something I do at home and is mot salon quality. I give 3 stars because I can tell that all the nail techs are nice and looking over, I saw other techs doing nails really cleanly and sharp. But my nail tech was subpar, and I might give this place another go but I will definitely ask for a different nail tech. We are traveling for 6 months and I earlier decided that I will not get my nails done during long vacations. But, I need to make an exception because we have a wedding to attend. I found this salon and read many good reviews on it. I not only went there once I am here now, again, because they were great. ABSOLUTELY no complaints. I have had 3 different technicians do both my pedicures as well as my manicures both with gel. They all did a fabulous job. Today I had the "Golden Pedicure" and I strongly recommend it to all. Less than 24 hours after my manicure, the polish started peeling off in large pieces. I called to ask for a refund and the person I spoke to said there was "nothing we can do" because the manager does not allow refunds. It is a very disappointing that they are not willing to do anything to make up for an incompetently done manicure. read more

This used to be my go to for a great mani and pedi but no more. My pedi lasted 15 minutes and you can't even tell. For the mani, my gel polish chipped on day two. And let's not mention that I made an appointment but still had to wait 40 minutes. read more

My niece and I were in on the 5th of January for a Shellac manicure. We're looking for a place where we can be repeat customers. Beautiful clean, and well organized salon, and everyone was very nice. Nails were shaped as requested, and looked nice when we left. The manicures however have chipped and lifted in less than a week. I've never had a Shellac manicure wear as horrible as this. Came here since I was staying at a hotel pretty close. Jenny did a beautiful job on my nails and I chose the dip since it has always held up extremely well. She did an ombré with glitter on my ring fingers and just a solid pretty color on the rest of my nails. Exactly what I asked for! She never seemed rushed which i appreciate. The quality of this place doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be. I have given this place three different tries and my nails always bubble and never seem to last as long as they did with the previous owner. While the place definitely looks nicer and has more employees, I find that some of the women are not that friendly. No matter how polite and how many times I said thank you, the woman who did my names was rude and made me feel dumb constantly. It was not relaxing at all. Then some of her regular clients came in and she was happy and positive. Other women I have had there are nice but unfortunately the one recently was not I am honestly disappointed and have really tried to like this place since it is so close to my home. There are so many other nail spots nearby that I would recommend going somewhere else. Don't think I would come back unless I was in a pinch. read more

This is a great salon and under new ownership as of late December. I highly recommend you give it a try. I've been going to Tina (the owner) for approximately 10 years. Tina does great work and cares very much for her clients. I think she is one of the best nail technicians in Colorado. The salon is very clean and they have top notch chairs/equipment. I stopped into golden nails yesterday on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised. Jonathon was my tech, and he was wonderful. It was the most careful and beautiful pedicure I'd ever had. I ended up getting a manicure, too, after seeing what a great job he did. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and they even offered a discount. Tina and her staff are wonderful. I am a difficult customer when it comes to my nails since I am an avid gardener and own horses. I can rarely use gloves and my nails show it. Tina does a great job and she is very professional. Always gives my appointments the time that they need. I highly recommend her. The salon is clean and bright and easy to find on Golden Ridge. Got a pedicure and a shellac manicure last week. The salon is clean, comfortable massaging pedicure stations, large TV playing tropical fish was very relaxing. They offer wine or sodas during your service - which i love. Everyone was friendly and professional - unlike some other salons in Golden. Will definitely be back. read more

Since I had seen their Yelp photos and thought they looked like the best salon in town, I decided to wait. I ended up waiting nearly two hours before I was finally seen. When it was my turn, I showed the guy the design I wanted. It really wasn't anything elaborate--just some stripes and polka dots but it was like 7 different colors I guess.. No gems, rhinestones, or anything I would consider overly detailed. Instead of discussing pricing upfront, I waited almost two hours only to be told that the design would cost $120. I was honestly shocked. If I had known that before waiting, I would have gone somewhere else. BUT, I couldn't because I was leaving for my trip the next morning, and every other salon was closed. When I questioned the price, I was simply told that because of the colors and designs, it would be $120. I was so overwhelmed and stressed about my trip that I started crying in the chair. Since I had no other option, I settled for a much simpler design that was incrediblyyyyy basic. Even then, I was still charged $80. To make things worse, the quality of the work did not justify the price at all. The nails were uneven, lumpy, and poorly finished. I spent the ENTIRE appointment crying, from the moment I sat down until I left. I wasn't even planning to leave a negative review because I felt bad for hardworking people and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, LESS than 24 HOURS later, while I was on my trip in Europe, one of the nails broke. Shortly after, a second one broke as well. At that point, I hadn't done anything that would reasonably explain it. I had simply packed my suitcase, gone to the airport, and taken a flight. I had to spend DAYS of my vacation walking around with bandages holding the nails in place while I searched for nail glue (which I guess doesn't exist in Europe lol). I couldn't find any, so I eventually had to buy super glue just to keep the nails attached for the rest of my trip. Between the nearly two-hour wait, not being told the price until it was finally my turn, paying $80 for a very basic set with poor workmanship, and having multiple nails break within 24 hours, this was EASILY the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. also if you're reading this far id also like to mention that, throughout the appointment, the tech repeatedly complained about how late it was getting and how long the appointment was taking. That really upset me because I had asked before waiting if they could still take me, and I was told yes. I then waited nearly two hours. If it was going to be an inconvenience or if there wasn't enough time to do the service properly, I wish they had simply told me from the beginning instead of having me wait for hours only to make me feel like i was the problem.
