I have been coming here for over a year now, and I can honestly say this is the best nail salon I've found. I'm a very loyal customer, and when I find a quality service, I like to stick with it. As someone with naturally thin nails, I rely on dip powder to help maintain their strength -- without it, my nails chip, peel, and break easily. This is the only salon that consistently does dip correctly. My nails never feel overly thick, I've never experienced "rings of fire," and my natural nails are healthier than ever. On top of that, my manicures last 3-4 weeks every time. Dee is amazing -- she is incredibly kind, attentive, and always makes me feel comfortable by offering water and checking in throughout the appointment. She remembers me and my preferences, which makes the experience feel so personal and welcoming. If you call ahead, she's great about accommodating appointments as well. I like a simple gel nail with a reshaping of my nails. With simple nails you can see every imperfection. I saw Mary today at sunshine nails and she knocked it out of the park. She was meticulous and even re-did one nail (without prompting) because a hair on it before going into te light and it got hardened on. She also took amazing care of my cuticles! I also love now thin she kept the polish. I hate when it's too thick. Mary was so kind and amazing! I wish I could give her 30 stars. This nail salon was also VERY clean. They have cleaning spray at every pedicure station and clean the station up right after you are done (so you get to see how deep they clean it). Went in for a pedicure. The technician didn't file my nails- so they are uneven. Then the polish was applied so poorly that another technician must have seen the look on my face and immediately began to repaint them. However, they still weren't filed so the nails are uneven and not shaped. I appreciate her repainting them but I don't think I'll be back. read more

This is my go-to nail and brow place. I've always had good results here. I always book with Dee who I adore, but sometimes get put with someone else if she's busy which I've never had a problem with. She always does my brows and I always like them! Everyone is friendly. I don't go as often as I would like anymore but she's always nice whenever I can come in. Would like to get lashes done here soon and see how I like that. (Also would like to add that Dee is very accommodating, just call and she usually makes it work. Bad experience needed to get a nail repaired. Called yesterday to see when the best time to come in. First time would have 6:45 (7/7). Way too late. The next would have been today (7/8) @ 8:30. No good for me, at work. Then I asked what about 11:30. Sure that would work. Arrived at salon 11:20, 10 minutes before. Would be another 15 minuTed before the tech could fix the nail. I left because I didn't have to wait as I had to get back to work. When the tech said that it would be ok to come at 11:30, should have been ready for me. That's my ranting. read more

Zero customer services skills at all! Walked in for a rebase. Was asked if we had an appointment which we didn't. She stated they were very busy she asked if we could come back later. She said next time call first and pushed us out the door. Was literally tripping over her being pushed out the door. I had done extensive research to find a good nail place and this was one of my top choices. When I happened to call they got me in within an hour. When I got there I was greeted nicely and asked if I wanted water or anything (while I waited because I arrived 20 minutes early). Everyone there was so welcoming. I showed the nail tech I got ( I believe her name was Jen) a picture of what I wanted and she delivered exactly what I asked for and more. She mixed the powders to give me exactly what I wanted. Through the process she asked me many times if my nails where okay and if I didn't like something to let her know. My fingers are naturally crooked and this is the first time someone has ever got my nails to be straight! My GO-TO place for pedicures and eyelash extensions in Golden! First things first I have ALWAYS had issues with my ingrown toe nails. Ever since visiting Sunshine Nails my ingrown nails have been a thing of the past. The nail techs take a lot of care, time and pride in their work and it really shows. When it comes to eyelash extensions the quality is unmatched and the prices are very fair given the high attention to detail Holly takes in her eyelash extension applications. I've gone for both a classic set as well as a wispy hybrid set, and each time I was over the moon with my results. If I could give no stars I would. We have been going here and spend nearly $200 each time for subpar work. Nails are never straight they point different directions each time. One time we were in there someone broke a nail and she came to get a fix and they helped her right away. My daughter got her nails done less than a week ago there and already lost a nail and 2 others are lifting (after spending $65 on them for plain polish and no accents). We came as we are flying out of state tomorrow to fix their mess up and they said come back tomorrow . I said we can't cause we are flying out of town and she said again you need to come back tomorrow. I will NEVER come to this expensive place for shit work and bad attitudes. I am sure there were 3 other workers in the back as I have never seen less than 3 or 4. Shit place!! read more

I have never consistently gone to a nail salon for this long as I'm pretty much a perfectionist about my pedicures (and so I'm often disappointed and move on). I've received a consistent, excellent service by Jennifer and her staff every time I have come here.
