Such a nice experience! I visited prior to a biz trip and was pleasantly surprised. I requested 'cat eye' mani and loved it so much. I don't do acrylics, im a natural short nail girl and this was a great way to go beyond a basic mani for me. I loved it, i tried a bronze-ish tone and left pretty happy. My nail tech was Nia, if in the area, i would definitely visit again and request Nia. read more

I was looking for a place to get a pedicure for a party of 3 and was able to call days before to make a reservation easily. It sits next Publix plaza on 301 & Falkenburg and easy to find. Very aesthetic inside and clean. When we arrived, we used the check in kiosk and were seated. The chairs for pedicures are massage chairs and very comfortable. My nail tech was very funny and entertaining, I enjoyed every bit and got the Luxe nail package. Only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because on the website, it states 70 minutes but ours was only 45 minutes so we felt our experience fell a bit short of the time but nonetheless, I would return as it was a very great experience. I enjoyed it very much! read more

Patty is amazing! Even though she opened a new pack of tools, she still sanitized them with the alcohol spray again right in front of me to ensure they were squeaky clean. She is very gentle and effective with how she does a pedicure. I had a little bit of pressure on my big from the beginning stages of an ingrown toenail but she was able to fix it up and it no longer hurts. Patty is extremely sweet and makes you feel relaxed and pampered the whole time. I will be asking for her over and over. Thank you Patty and Lux Nails for excellent service :) read more

I was a walk in today and requested a pedicure and dip nails. The pedicure was fine but the dip nails are a hota$$mess and over priced. The nail tech was chatting with everyone else in the salon instead of focusing in my nails. They are bulbous and have already chipped 6 hours later. Now i have 2 weeks to wait for a growout since my nails were clipped too low read more

I love this place a lot. I am always treated well and my nails always look amazing. They also do waxing and pedicures. Although I do prefer Hannah for my nails, I've worked with almost all the techs that work there and their works is always awesome. Also, with their expansion, there's less wait time and more space. If you're looking for a beautiful looking spa, luxury experience, great customer service and awesome looking nails and eyebrows, I would tell you to come here. Also, they do my 6 year olds toes and treat her like a princess. read more

I've been here many times now and my nails last me over a month whenever I come here. They are very talented with designs as well!

I have been going to Lux nails for almost 6- 7 years. It's hard to find someone that can capture what you want, so when you find them, you stick with them. My nail tech and his colleagues who share space, we have this insider (a way for me not to forget them) Anthony, Mary, Kim. Loll. Anyway, it doesn't hurt to give them a try. read more

Overpriced for terrible service. My nails looks like a kindergartner did them. Paid for a deluxe pedicure and she barely did anything.. didn't even cut down my toe nails or remove the dead skin from my nail bed. 0 stars, would NOT recommend. I'm better off doing my nails myself vs wasting $150 on this horrible work every 2 weeks. read more

Walked in and got helped immediately. I came in for a full set and ended up getting a pedicure as well. Pedicure was nice and I like the amount of options they have. I didn't get the name of the lady doing my pedicure but she was super sweet! Lily did my nails and I loved them the moment she was done shaping them. She took her time and I didn't feel rushed, even though they were busy. She was so nice and we talked and laughed. I just moved to the area and I've been having a hard time finding a good nail tech who can do my nails the way I like them. This place is definitely my new spot! read more

I finally found a place that I actually went too twice. Usually I find Nail salons where I leave unhappy and don't plan to go back but Lux Nails has changed that for me. The first time I went was right when they were opening for the day and they were already looking busy but they still sat me down to get started on my full set and wow I couldn't have been happier on my experience I left so happy and came back 3 weeks later when my nails still looked excellent (they were just grown out) to get a fill and just like the first time it was a great experience. They were so fast and made sure to confirm what I wanted. I will for sure be back. read more

I am posting review for Nghia. If you want to find a perfectionist of a nail salonist who will never let anyone rush him and won't move on to the next nail until the one he's working on is perfect, it's Nghia. I actually followed him from his past salon to this one and have known if for two years. He is a 10/5. If you send him a photo of what you want before you come in, he will practice to make sure he can deliver, but no challenge is too much. Now I'm vietnamese so I understand what the staff is saying which is why I took off a one star. If only the customers could understand how unprofessional the comments they make sometimes (but I guess that's what a second language is for?) and they kept rushing Nghia. I had to translate for him when they asked him to hurry. But he refused. That's why his customer service is top notch. So if you want someone who will not cut corners, he's the one for you. He never settles for ok and always wants his customers to be happy. Please tip him well if you book with him. Note: he only does gels! read more

In town from Georgia for a few days. I looked up some nail salons and this one was about 10 min from where we were staying. So glad I did!! I got a full set, pedicure and eyebrow wax. The staff was welcoming to me as a walk in. They did excellent work! The pictures say it all. I notice they had MANY regular customers who they knew by name and conversed with them. Loved that about them. Everything was safe, sanitary and professional. If you live here or are visiting they take great care of their customers. read more

Well I am changing my review....I received the worst manicure ever. I asked 3 times for my nailed to be shaped square with round corners....still got just square with sharp edges. The nail polish itself is all over the edges of my fingernails was not cleaned up There are also spots.missing near the edges and complete lines on the sides of the nail missed. Finally, I got the gel manicure which is supposed to last 2 weeks, my manicure is only 6 days old and is already peeling up because the edges were not done well. read more

Lux Nails is fairly clean, but not the cleanest. I asked for a full set white and nude ombré. My tech messed up and had to start over. More than halfway through I realized this would be my first and last visit. My nails were not cut proportionally, I got a "kind of" coffin shape, there are visible streaks, my cuticles are terrible, and she cut me twice. My pedicure was okay. I was charged $100 for this "service". There were other customers there who seemed happy with their service received, but I won't be returning. read more

So I thought I'd give this place a try. Recently moved to Tampa and I've only been to one other nail salon (which was amazing) Came in for a pedi and an acrylic set/ ombré. The pedi was amazing; reasonable price $34 Waited for about 20-30min to get someone to do my nails. Once I sat down, you could just tell the little Asian lady was mad. I tried to make conversation with her but she seemed like she didn't want to be bothered. Anyways I asked for red and black ombré. She said she could do it. I had a picture of what I wanted. As soon as she finishes I look at my nails and it's not what I asked for. Yes it's red and black but what poor quality! I wouldn't call it ombré. She tried covering up her poor mess with adding glitter to it. (I dislike glitter) What more was I supposed to say? but I was not pleased with her work. On top of that she charge me $57 for my nails. I looked at the price before hand and that was not on there list. I guess you get what you pay for. I was trying to find a cheaper place then where I went the first time to get my nails done. I won't be back I rather pay more for good quality work. Thanks for trying read more

This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I paid over $100 for a horrible mani-pedi. First, the water was cold and I asked several times for warmer water. Then, my lady had long nails that were pushed into the bottom of my feet (not feeling great.) I was cut and instead of waiting until I stopped bleeding, the lady placed a top coat over the blood! You can see how crooked the lines are on my French manicure. So disappointing. read more

it's sad because they do great work. But getting them to do what *you* want and not what *they* want was like pulling teeth. I asked originally to soak off my black ombré set and do dip powder. The girl doing my toe nails said my ombré looks better than dip powder. I was like that's cool, I'll fill them but we're still going to need to cut them all the way down because I have a project at work tomorrow. Pedicure was lovely, no complaints. then I got sent to the table for my manicure. The woman who was doing them basically refused to cut them short and said that they look good and she "did not want to cut them." I don't particularly care what she wants, I want short nails. painted red. simple right? she drilled them down shorter and reshaped them. Still too long but I really just don't feel like asking for a fourth time. then we get to the painting and she says that they look fine, let's not paint them. They're perfect for Halloween. I. Don't. Careeeeee. I want red nails. no. instead she swiped a glitter top coat over my ring finger and said "at least one nail??" I told her I prefer them clear. She painted the other nails all clear and then looks at me. I said I guess it's happening since this glitter is already there. I'm honestly so irritated with myself for not insisting further for what I wanted, but I can't believe I basically had to debate with my nail person to get me functional nails for work the next day. hope they're not too long. read more

let's start off by saying I'm never stepping a foot back in here again. most of my fingers are bleeding, they told me to leave without my nail polish drying, and they continued to do work on my nails that I repeatedly said I don't want to do. This was such a horrible experience. read more

I've been going to Lux Nails for 7-years and hands down love it! I've recently moved to Lakeland and am still making the drive back to ensure my nails are in top shape! Thanks to Laura and Tony for always being absolutely amazing. I even take my 87 year old Aunt to have her nails done by Laura. Laura takes her time and is very gentle with my aunts delicate hands. Tony always does mine and knows exactly what I'm looking for. I can pick a color and he can make a suggestion to make it better based on what he knows I like. I was in town and needed a place to get a simple mani/pedi on a Sunday. While I was pleased overall with my technician's skill set, the customer service experience was lacking. As I was washing my hands, a male employee sat the next client in my chair. I was not asked if my services were completed, which they were not. I was simply booted out of my seat. There was no arm melt to pool give nor reconcile for this action. Even if it had occurred in unbeknownst to the male employee, there was no apology or service recovery effort made. I mentioned how rude it was to seat the next client without ensuring that the current client's services were completed, the male employee simply shrugged his shoulder and requested payment. The presumed manager/owner attempted to rectify the situation by telling me that the male employee didn't understand due to language barrier. Not sure why she felt the need to say that when the manicure process is standard despite language spoken and/or understood. After a client washes their hands, they return to their seat/technician for finishing and/or polishing. This is standard practice. This was definitely my first and last time visiting Lux nails. read more

I went in to get a full set and a pedi and both were done horribly. Only 3 people were working and when I came it wasn't busy but it got busier and instead of telling people they would have to wait the owner began working on two other people while doing my nails I was there for over 2 hours. The girl who did my pedicure didn't fill in my acrylic she just put polish right over the apparent space that needed to be filled in. I wouldn't recommend going here it's overpriced and you'll leave unsatisfied read more
