I love the service at Posh. It is my go-to nail salon. Everyone is super friendly and the prices are reasonable. I get a regular polish pedicure and gel manicure - usually runs around $85 (depending on the pedicure type I get that visit). The techs always check in to make sure I like the color and nail shape. I can't say enough amazing things about Posh Nails and the owners, Paul and Jen. I went here regularly during the four years I lived in the area, and they were consistently wonderful. They always worked with my busy, sometimes unpredictable schedule, and their kindness and patience went above and beyond. As someone with cerebral palsy, I was nervous about getting pedicures before finding them. But Paul and Jen made me feel so comfortable and cared for that it quickly became something I looked forward to. They were patient, accommodating, and genuinely willing to help me with whatever I needed. On top of that, they're just incredibly genuine people who truly care about their customers. I also love that they have a rewards program--it's such a thoughtful touch that makes being a loyal customer even more worthwhile. I have been going to Posh Nail Salon for almost a year now. I never make an appointment, I always just walk in. I am always taken right away. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. I have been seen by many different nail techs and all have been good. I have no complaints, they all do a good job. They are all nice, pleasant and courteous. The salon is always neat and clean. The two main reasons I chose this salon is 1) I especially like the fact that they use disposable plastic liners for the foot baths. 2) They use sterilized tools which a lot of salons do not sterilize they way they should! They offer many different types of services at this salon. There is also a bonus card they give. Every time you go for a service they stamp the card. After 9 services you get $10 off the 10th service. Parking is never a problem. They are in a shopping center with a huge parking lot. read more

This was the worst experience ever. This place deserves zero stars. They use nail polish with bubbles and think it's ok to use. I told them that I didn't like it and he said it was because the color I chose and there was nothing he could do for me then another nail tech proceeded to try to help bu basically filing my skin off with a terrible looking nail file. I was bleeding and my nails looked terrible. They took $5 off like as if they were doing me a favor. Needless to say I had to go somewhere else and have them fix my nails since I was embarrassed. It was my first time here and I was recommended by a friend. The salon itself is spacious, elegant and zen. They have various pedicure options which I liked and selected the $35 pedicure which included hot stone massage and paraffin wax bath. The attention to detail during the pedicure was excellent and one of the best, and longest, foot/leg massages I've received during a pedicure. I had to take off one star for the unprofessional behavior displayed during the time while they all talked and directly laughed as customers were getting their pedicures making it obvious, and rude, as they were directed towards the customers, however I would like to hope that I was wrong. With the rat race called 'life', relaxation is a necessary object I need in my life, so I quietly de-stress and let myself be pampered a little (or a lot) when I come here. If you are the chatty type, they will accommodate that, too. LOL Jessica, an owner, does excellent coffin-shaped pink & white nails that last me 3-4 weeks. My pedicures last even longer, but upkeep is necessary for me sooner than that because my nails are healthy, and grow long quickly. Posh Salon is super neat-clean & tidy. It's well-designed and decorated. A sanitized set of tools for each patron is routinely used, which is what you want. Bathroom is always clean. I can't stress enough how, at this salon, all the women and men who work here are very friendly and courteous. I picked a dark red/pink, and the woman came out with a powder that looked like a bright red and insisted it was the same...it definitely wasn't. A few days after I got my nails done my index fingers dip cracked and broke off at the corner. Two days later my thumbs dip had a huge crack that I superglued so it wouldn't destroy my nail. read more

Save your time and sanity and don't go to this place, I went in for a full set and Ryan the man who did my nails was nice but I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they told me they could do it. It wasn't until the end they told me they actually couldn't and gave me something entirely different but still charged me for what I asked for. My nails are bumpy and have crevices, they didn't clean out from under the nail so I just have built up acrylic under them. Absolute waste of time and money. Amy, did my nails not only was she extremely aggressive but she rushed through them. They usually take at least an hour to do my nails but she took 30 minutes. The entire time i was sweating because i was scared she was going to hurt me as she was going so aggressive and hard with her nail grinder i spent 30 minutes stressed and uncomfortable when it should be a pleasant experience. Not only did that happen but she literally WITHOUT asking gave me HER salon's phone to make ME talk to her customers in english because she couldnt. I wouldve never cared to help her if SHE COULDVE nicely asked. Zero customer service, also as you can see in the picture my nails look like they are two weeks old and i literally got them done TODAY. First of this is mostly about the wax. I also got my nails done and they are under a week since being done and already peeling. They are GELS. Do not get waxed here. Just had the worst experience. My wax was the worst wax I've ever had. She was using tiny wooden sticks and applying wax in tiny portions, therefore more strips to pull. Maybe the wax wasn't hot enough or maybe it didn't stay on long enough to grab the hair. But sometimes when she pulled it didn't come off and then she'd pull directly on the hair with her fingers to try to get the wax off so she could reapply and try again. Obviously that hurt so I asked her to stop. She then applied mineral oil to pull the wax off. Then applied wax again on the same area and sometimes the hair came out but again she was applying a nickle sized amount of wax at a time. It should be one big strip all at once. I started bleeding. It was taking so long and I started to feel down there to see what was going on and there was wax stuck to some areas still. I was furious. I was probably in there for 45 minutes. It was painful and she didn't know how to pull the skin taught to get certain areas. I just told her to stop so I could leave. I have to go to a different salon tomorrow to clean up the hack job down below. read more

I've been going here for years...service is always hit or miss....but it's super close to my house so I continued to go. Lately, I've been getting more and more really bad service. Went in first thing this morning, the one girl that I know does a good job was already busy, so I made an appointment with her to come back at noon. When I came back, she tried to convince me that my appointment was at 2, but I could see where my noon appointment was scratched out and rewritten at 2 o'clock. Afterwords I left unhappy and two days later my nail popped off they didn't chip or anything just popped off my thumb was the only nail that didn't. I don't live in the area, but I had gone to a store in the same plaza for a specific product but they had sold out. I was walking back to my car, when I saw the salon and decided to try it out, just so my trip wasn't wasted. Sat there waiting for at least 20 minutes. Then when they finally started working on my nails, the technician seemed like it was her first time doing nails, she was shaking. Then a guy "Harry" took over for her and continued. The way they did my nails, was horrible! I had a filling acrylic, and it looked like I had gotten my nails done weeks ago when they were done; not filled properly, the nail polish was uneven, and the acrylic itself was very thick. I was so upset, I literally left and walked into another salon, because I had an event to attend a couple days ago ter and I didn't want my nails looking like garbage. I'v always enjoyed my visits to Posh Nails. They always do a great job and are very pleasant to chat with. When visiting my normal is a French manicure/pedicure, feeling very comfortable with the cleanliness of the workstations and the tools used I'm pretty happy. With three nail shops all within walking distance of each other, basically one on each corner at Bloomingdale and Providence, what keeps me returning to Posh, obviously because of cleanliness but mainly the atmosphere. So I started coming here about a year ago. I am religious about getting my nails done every 2-3 weeks. I go on the weekends due to my schedule. Over time the same nail tech ended up working with me. Her name is Me. She is amazing, funny and very thorough. She has always gone above and beyond to work on my nails and cuticles which can be messy. Went to this location for a pedicure 3 days ago. I paid for the 40$ pedicure, which was amazing. However, my nails are chipping and look awful for just getting them done. I have not been to the beach or been near anything that would mess the polish up, so I'm not sure why they look so awful after three days.
