After arriving in the area, I needed a mani and pedi. I researched Yelp and decided on this salon. It took me 20-25 minutes travel time and upon arrival, I questioned why I picked this salon. Actually, I think my granddaughter picked this one for me. The reviews weren't bad and upon entering the salon, it looked inviting and cheery. My tech was randomly selected online when I made the appointment. During the pedicure, I told myself that she was roughing me up! She hurt me twice but thankfully did not draw blood. I did the regular pedicure with a gel manicure. I'm glad I waited to write my review because the gel manicure didn't last 7 days. I am known to be a bit hard on my hands and nails but this was unacceptable, especially considering the price paid for the service. I hate leaving one star reviews. I waited several weeks to see if my feelings would change. They have not. I made an appointment here out of pure desperation. (I cannot stand these assembly line type nail salons.) It was a Sunday. I hadn't been able to get in to my regular nail tech because of scheduling conflicts, travel, etc. So, it's on me. I did research and am shocked by the glowing reviews of this business. There were no warm fuzzies. No "welcome" or smiles. I don't even know the tech's name. She was clearly disinterested in doing her job; giving me a pedicure. She cut me at least three times. She did apply a green gel to stop the bleeding/antibiotic?? I'm no wimp, but she hurt me bad when she pulled an ingrown nail out (?). It was sore and swollen for several days after. Another tech was giving a manicure a few feet away. She was clearly sick. Coughing and snotting all over the place. Making a big deal about taking meds and washing her hands and then blowing her nose repeatedly but not washing her hands again. I just held my breath, but if that girl was working on me I would have walked right out the door. This was an absolutely miserable and neglectful experience. I paid my bill to the inhospitable man of the salon. I even tipped 20%. Why? I don't know. Not so much as a "thank you", or "have a nice day". I will never be back. read more

In the end, my nails turned out great, but I wouldn't consider my visit here a relaxing experience tbh. The online booking system seemed simple, but it requires you to choose a nail tech for your appt. I went off Yelp reviews and chose Emily. When I got there, I let them know about my appt and nobody checked who it was booked with, and I ended up with a male tech that I don't think was named Emily. I looked through the color options that were at the table and picked one, but it turned out those weren't even the options they had. There was another ring of colors elsewhere and I couldn't even look through them because at that point I was soaking my nails in the acetone. I panic chose a lavender color and I actually like it so that worked out fine. The nail tech doing my nails was doing a million things at the same time--answering phones, scrambling around to find tools, helping other people, etc. He honestly wasn't too gentle with some of the filing tools either and my cuticles are pretty sore. At one point he told me I need to "stop shaking my whole body so much" (sorry but that's caffeine and anxiety). I think nail techs should be able to handle shaky hands with grace because there are many people with medical issues/anxiety/etc. that cannot help it. He kinda left my hand a mess too with some of the top coat. I'll probably give this place another chance because I have heard good things and I do genuinely like how they turned out--maybe it was an off day. But I do think I'm still on the hunt for my new nail place in Tampa. read more

The owner answered the phone and advised that If I don't mind waiting a few mins, they can make my last minute acrylic manicure happen. Big shoutout to Christie and her husband who both work there. Their conversation about Vietnamese food and jokes and their amazing work at nails is what will make me come back. They both worked on my nails as a team and I LOVE how my nails came out. Unfortunately, I was the last customer there, which I felt so sorry about but the owner and his wife at the front desk were so welcoming despite me leaving at 7:45. Completely awful I've been going here for a year and each time it just gets worse and worse. Made an appointment for 10 and the guy I booked Forgot and didn't show up till 11. He was distracted the whole time and played on his phone every five minutes and would get up to go to the back for another 5-10 minutes and would come back with a mouth full of food. In total I came in at 10 am and didn't leave till 2 pm and all I got was a full set of acrylics and my old set was already off when I came in. And if that wasn't enough the chair broke that I was sitting in and theh didn't offer to get me a new one. I thought okay whatever my nails look great. I always pay 70 but he said it was 80$ but would give me 10$ off for my birthday which I new was bullshit. Literally beyond disappointed, especially for $85? I usually come to this salon for a pedicure, but I was in town and my usual salon was closed so I took a chance off Yelp reviews and booked an appointment with Emily online. I'm not even sure if I was with Emily or not, but I was originally seated with a female tech, then they made me and another client swap techs and I was with a male. He was fine, but he laid the acrylic on my left hand HEAVY and they look significantly sloppier than my right hand. Once the acrylic was set, he began filing my left hand and half way through I was once again swapped back with the female tech. It was all down hill from here. I have never seen someone work so fast in their life. I mean like FAST. Granted the salon was busy, but every client was being assisted and there was no one else waiting to be serviced and it wasn't anywhere near closing time. There was literally no reason for her to rush, but it seemed like she was trying to help everyone else but me. She rushed my nails and in the process cut me and left my cuticles looking horrendous. In addition, the French tips are just "decent". I was then told to wait in a pedicure chair, which turned into me waiting for an HOUR for the same technician to come back. She comes back and works on my feet for a second before once again swapping me to another technician. Overall, not the greatest experience. Definitely not worth $85 and I am extremely disappointed in this salon. I will not be coming back here. read more

Emily my nail tech was excellent! I got a gel mani and basic pedicure & it was $55. They just recently opened so you save and additional 10%! Upon arrival they asked you to use hand sanitizer, and I had my mask on already. Emily wore her mask the entire time for my services and they use new nail file and buffers on ever customer as well as sterilize all mental through the autoclave. For a basic pedicure it felt amazing I can only imagine what the next one up feels like. Another great thing is they are open Sundays!
