I would NEVER buy from this business because when I took their used vehicle for sale, my mechanic inspected the car THOROUGHLY and stated that they would never purchase the car in its poor condition. They found the car completely rusted underneath due to heavy salt use in NY State where according to Carfax where the car was purchased.
Secondly, mechanic found out that the car check engine warning light was most likely had been cleared because they discovered a long list of imaintenance items that the car had not undergone. They believe that the previous owner neglected the car severely. Additionally, the car's oil pan bolts was severely stripped and so was the main bolt.
Needlessly to say, we passed on buying the car and mechanic mentioned that many of the non-dealership car sales outfits around Manassas are of questionable reputation and should be avoided for the most part.
If we hadn't taken the car to be checked out by an independent mechanic, we would not have been able to use the car for long due to the deterioration the car had undergone as a result of the harsh winters in NY with extensive salt use.
We found a more recent model/make (2017) with much less miles from a dealership for nearly 1k more and with significantly less wear and tear than the car from this place.
We caution all potential car buyers to take their potential purchases to a local mechanic in the area and have it checked out before plunking down tens of thousands of dollars to save yourself potential grief and extensive repair costs down the road.
Another thing: most of these car sellers buy cars sight unseen from wholesale auction places to sell to the public at their car shops. It's relatively easy to set up shop and sell these cars to the general public because they have much lower operating costs and staff than a dealership woukd have and make almost similar profits that a dealership would- Dealerships obviously have more sales volumes than a smaller car sales outlets would have - additionally, dealerships have their own repair departments that these small outlets lack.
Be forewarned about this shop (and many others like this one). Save yourself a headache and take their car to a trusted mechanic and if you find a lot of issues, it would be better to go elsewhere. read more
