Maximum Auto Dealership is inaccurate, incongruous and an untruthful car dealership. My friend and his wife, as well as I, have had nothing but terrible experiences from them, and the car that we bought there was not only a lemon, but in terrible condition, requiring repairs that will cost almost as much as they paid to buy the car. I've included the details below, and a picture of the estimate for those interested. Just be careful, bring the car to a mechanic YOU trust, and ultimately, I recommend you DON'T buy from them. They are UNTRUSTWORTHY and Unresponsive. I'll be happy to share texts, emails and other times that I've reached out to try and get them to help with the car. On January 10th, my friend and his wife bought a used Landrover Discovery, and once buying the car, signing up for an extended warranty, and being assured that the car was in good working order, they drove from Manassas to my store in Winchester, VA. Sheryl went to take one of our clientele to a local restaurant to get dinner, and upon getting back in the car and starting it back up, the car would not switch from Drive to Reverse. The Discovery had to be stopped, put in park, turned off completely and then turned back on again. This happened when she drove the ¼ mile back to the store as well. they immediately called the dealership and talked with our Sales Person, Jonathan, and he stated he would speak to the general manager. After several days, and several attempts to reach either the sales manager, or Jonathan, they finally agreed to have the car towed back to the dealership and take a look at it. After approximately a week they were called and told that the Land Rover was fine, and that they thoroughly tested the vehicle and could find nothing wrong with it. they went and got the vehicle back and drove home. they had it back for about a week and a half before the car started acting up again with error messages and driving hard. they left the car sit for about a week while they tried to get in contact with Anyone at the dealership with no luck. Sheryl and I finally took the car to a local mechanic that we know who refused to touch it do to all the error messages the car was coming back with when he tested the system. He immediately advised me to take it to a Land Rover dealership. Sheryl and I, again reached back out to your dealership with no response. Finally, they had the car towed to a Land Rover dealership.. After they took a look at the car, they came back with an estimate of over $9,000.00 for a vehicle that they paid $13,900.00 for. They stated that the fuel injectors were bad, the car was seriously leaking oil in various parts of the engine as well as other various issues. I have included the dealership's estimate for everything that is wrong with the car. We asked to test drive the vehicle and he said we can't and if we wanted to we had to fill out a credit application and get approved first. That is ridiculous and no other dealership has ever said no to test driving a car you're going to purchase. Why would you fill out a credit application before even driving a car? So stupid our cars are worth more than this car. My finances car is literally 85k and my car is 65k and we have to fill out an application for a car that only 46k be fucking for real. I kind of just want to brag but like I said the transmission had problems since I got it and they absolutely failed to say or inspect the car before putting into inventory I'm not a fake bot leaving a bad review I'm being open and honest my transmission failed on my car with only 3000 miles since bought like I said would happen on my other review from 4 months ago as of now I fixed my car on my own no labor costs the parts to rebuild my transmission costed about $1400 for a stage 2 race clutch/pressure plate brand new gears rated for 600whp carbon fiber synchros and a new beefy throw out bearing very sweet setup. The cost of labor was free since I worked on the car myself like I said I work on cars for a living in my other review if you go to a dealer like ford where my car is from they would of charged about $40 an hour i spend about 22 work hours working on my car so if I took it to a dealer I would of spent about $900 dollars in just labor costs. if your a person that wants a hassle free experience with a car that will last you a long time for the money you spent do not come here i am walking proof that this place absolutely sucks financing sucks a lot of the staff are rude please avoid this establishment go to carvana or CarMax used dealers that are legit and affordable from like private dealer what I know from CarMax is that they do 130 inspections on every vehicle before they let it out into inventory same with carvana sure it's usually a little more lonely then these used car dealers like maximum auto but you will get a bang for your buck at CarMax and carvana my buddy got a 2022 Honda civic type r about a year and a half ago from CarMax and the car is absolutely running perfect with about 60k miles on the dash I will post pictures of my car on the side of the road to let y'all know I'm not lying then after I fixed my car. read more

Pictures of their cars are manipulated more then online dating photos. Ask for pics to be sent to you before you take a visit that are not the ones posted. The posted ones have a way of avoiding, hiding and ignoring faded paint, scratches and dents. One other gem is a $595 processing fee, even for out of state buyers where as they don't do a thing. Sales people are ignorant and use Ebonics as a 1st language, which leads me to believe management is even worse. Overall the prices are not great when you add in the $595 fee. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I was shopping for an SUV and had some specific things I was looking for in a car. When I test drove an Audi Q7 on their lot, there were no issues or warning lights. It met my needs and so I decided to buy. Four days after I bought the car the "Low Oil Pressure" warning light came on. After diagnosis, there is internal engine damage and it is going to cost thousands to fix. The best the dealership would do was to "diagnose" the problem and tell me what was wrong. I would not reccomend this place at all. Found a jeep compass online, went to go look at it and the driver seat adjustment was completely broken off with the seat laying down. When I went to lift the seat up it just fell right off. We told the man and he said they didn't know that was there and they would fix it. The back right tire pressure was also at a 6 when the rest were 30's, basically flat. We brought this to their attention and again they said this was the first they were hearing of it. Stay away from this dealership! They sold me a BMW 645ci last month for $10K. When I took it in because of transmission issues, the bill was $17K from BMW! This dealership tried to blame me for the problem...luckily, I was able to finally get rid it and went to Enterprise. Enterprise took wonderful care of me, helped me get out of the BMW and into a Nissan Maxima with warranties...which Maximum Auto Outlet does not provide. I recommend Enterprise Auto Sales on Rt 1. I contacted the dealer about the issue and they told me to come back tomorrow and they would fix it. Zero stars my wife purchased a car convertible Mercedes. Shortly after a leak developed in top hydraulic system. They sold her a warranty. When car went into the shop to have it checked they also found a leaking strut and control rod. The warranty co said they do not cover this. $3300. This is a safety issue. She called the dealer and was told " well you did not by the car from me." The " that's what you get when you purchase a used car." Great customer service. Purchased a 06 g35 on 11-15-2021 for about 12k. Somehow someone managed to get the safety inspection passed(illegally) on this car because when I took in to a Nissan dealership to get a wheel bearing replaced it turned out it needed both driver and passenger wheel bearings, lower control arms, upper control arms, and the rack and pinion is leaking. Let's also not ignore the fact that I need to replace the rear diff bushing and 2 front tires. I know that when you purchase a used car you expect to put more money into it, but a safety inspection is not something to be toyed with. Everything about the buying process went smooth. The salesman DJ and manager Joe couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I was assured that the car was mechanically sound, and based on my interaction with both of them, I believed it. Unfortunately, today I took the car to my regular mechanic for the Maryland inspection and it failed big time. The cost of the repairs to pass inspection will be over $2000. I can't begin to describe how disappointed, taken advantage of and screwed over I feel at having to spend that kind of money on a car I just bought. I reached out to both DJ and Joe to let them know what's happening with the car. I haven't gotten a reply yet and thinking perhaps it really doesn't matter anyway. They would sell you a messed up car, crooked warranty that does not help with repairs, provide crooked financing system, very rude and disgusting customer service all the way to their managers.
