I just bought a 2024 cybertruck great customer service i from out of state Thanks Vin!!!

Went in to help my friend with his purchase, the salesperson Danny was deceptively kind. He shook on the listed price without the $1.5k add on for "refurbishing", coming out to roughly $27k total. Going forward in the process for purchasing the vehicle, the dealer added in a $4k extended warranty in the paperwork without our consent or explanation, pushing the total 1.15x to almost 31k. They proceeded to ask us to sign a stack of ~20 papers and said these do not need to be read through because it was just making sure we agree to the final price which was what was shook on. Nowhere had they mentioned they were going to add $4k onto the price. It was hidden several pages in, and in very fine print. Extremely scummy practice, especially when a price was fairly discussed and agreed upon between the two parties. We are now figuring this out while refinancing the car, and all of our calls to VINS are being completely ignored. We had to track them down in person to get this settled, where we had to ask them for the original paperwork we shook on (it had the $27k price). His coworker, who when greeting us, told us that they save them that day and anyways had it on file online. Yet when redirected to our original salesperson, Danny, said "Oh we usually shred those papers" when during our original meeting he said they save these papers as well. We ended up talking to the manager who brought up the papers and immediately realized we just wanted this extended warranty off, which he finally did. They have yet to send the warranty refund check to the loaned bank after almost 2 weeks from our confrontation. We had to go in ONCE AGAIN in person to ask where this check was and received their usual excuse: they "just received the check". The car also had rust on the top of the back doors from pooling behind the door seal. The dealer agreed to schedule us to clean this up in the following week yet did not schedule us. We called in several times for this rust and they have yet to schedule. To get this solved, we had to track them down in person twice: once to get them to order the paint for the car, and the second to get it done. Scummy business practices and not holding to an agreement, especially shaken over a paper, is not a good look on any enterprise. I hoped that dealerships moved away from misleading their customers. Scammers Purchased a used Tesla from this dealership in July 2025 and was told it qualified for the federal Clean Vehicle Tax Credit. What they did not do was submit the required IRS time-of-sale report tied to the vehicle's VIN--a step only the dealer can complete. When tax season came, the IRS denied the credit because the VIN was never reported. After multiple attempts to resolve this directly, the dealership refused to submit the required documentation, gave incorrect information (claimed the IRS portal was "closed"), and told us to file it ourselves--which is not allowed. If you are purchasing a vehicle that is advertised as qualifying for a tax credit, do not take their word for it--they will lie to your face. read more

My family and I drove over an hour today to reserve a car for my sister with our appointment scheduled at noon. Upon our arrival the car was parked in the front and we were promptly greeted. The vehicle was in immaculate shape and we were provided a carfax report which further supported our desire to purchase the vehicle. Unfortunately this dealership is not transparent with their prices. They tried to force a warranty package on us and continued to try to sell it even after my repeated attempts to cut the salesman off because he was wasting his time pitching something we had no interest in purchasing. Had they stood down and removed the warranty package we would have moved forward with signing for the vehicle. TL;DR beware of this dealership getting you in the door with their attractive prices and then blindsiding you with exorbitant add-ons in which they refuse to work with you on read more

They sold me a car that was damaged but had a clean car fax. They patched it up so it wasn't noticeable until I had a body shop reveal it was involved in an accident. Vins wouldn't even speak to me. I sent them the estimate and they don't answer. Very crooked dealer. Stay clear of them read more

DO NOT USE THIS JOKE OF A SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! THEY WILL MESS UP YOUR WITH ABSOLUTELY NO REMORSE. Let's start with took my car there several months ago to have me key reprogramed to newly pcm and was told that I needed to replace my hybrid battery do to a broken bolt on the connection. Mind you I just had it replaced for no reason 3 months prior because of Ted Britt in Chantilly giving a false diagnosis of a dead hybrid battery. Which refused to.admit there mistake even the hybrid battery technician telling them that my hybrid battery was completely fine. So I went through the warranty with Hybrid Battery 911 and had another battery installed fast to 2 weeks ago I brought my car back in to Ted Britt of fairfax to have my pcm replaced for the second time because it is throwing a false code for the hybrid battery which informed them of prior to scheduling my drop off . They wanted to do a diagnostic test to be sure it was them pcm regardless of what informed them was stated my the hybrid battery technician just to be sure the $250. Only to call me back and say that the connection to the hybrid battery again yet nobody except there technician and the gentleman from.hybrid battery that has touched these wires and hybrid 911 has pictures to show there installation and no faulty connections. To add they let know that they cannot get a pcm for car aa they have gone obsolete (yet I can find them without issue.) When confronted with how highly suspicious it is for that connection to break not but 2 times in the same exact a area the manager Andre proceeds to pull possible issues that could be wrong even though none of which have been found in the 3 diagnostic test I have had on the car in 8 months 2 of which they preformed. He then asked for the number for hybridbattery911 so he could speak with and verify everything they have said ans evidence of their work even though his service advisor already did and after admitting that the technician touched and ran his hand down the wires to the hybrid battery which are now broken when they weren't when I drove my car there 2 weeks. If it was the car would notbhave been able to start. So now I paying for a 3 hybrid battery installation and a pcm. This is beyond shady and I will be reporting them. Unfortunately after being out of work for quite some time I do not have to option of buying a new car and have to bend over and take it. I look forward to meeting Andre when I have my fixed my Hybrid 911 again at there location as he has never for back to me after contacting hybridbattery911 like he said he would. Starting with Danny, the experience was very straightforward and honest. He let me drive 2024 Prius Prime as long as I needed to, and answered all my questions. The car had been inspected and certified (VINS Certification) and was in excellent condition. Jimmy was forthright about my trade-in value and pulled some recent sales to help me understand the number they offered, as well as going over Carfax details. He worked with my on my offer, and we both came to a reasonable number. Marcus closed the deal, and Hina very quickly efficiently walked me through the finance steps to completion. I got a good deal on (what I consider to be) a great car. There was little to no runaround or pushiness. Understand before you shop here that they are a smaller dealership and do business a bit differently, There are mandatory fees and financing structures of which I was not really aware and hadn't factored into my decision to buy. The out-the-door price was still good enough that those things were not dealbreakers, and I wouldn't hesitate to do business here again in the future. read more

I recently purchased a 2022 Tesla Model X from VINS in Manassas. My experience from start to finish was exceptional. On a Friday night, I clicked the "check availability" button to see if the car was still available. I received a text from Jimmy shortly after (pleasantly surprised to get a response after hours). He answered my questions. The next morning I received a text from Kyle, the salesman, who offered to take a video of the car, which he sent shortly after. I spoke with Kyle a bit more about the car and scheduled a time later that day to take a test drive. On that call, I asked about any fees on top of the sales price. He told me about the fees. Jimmy emailed a price breakdown and on a call explained exactly what the fees covered. The price, with fees, was still competitive (if not a bit lower) than what other cars of the same make, model, year, mileage, and condition (like new) were selling for. We arrived at VINS, Kyle showed me a bit more about driving a Tesla (I test-drove another Tesla for the first time a month prior). Upon returning to the dealership, Kyle spent a considerable amount of time teaching me the ins and outs of how to operate the car/control panel/computer. This exceeded my expectations. Since I was purchasing a Tesla from a non-Tesla dealership I expected to have to figure this out on my own after buying the car. From there, purchasing the car was easy. We had already discussed the "out-the-door" price on the phone so there was nothing more to do but sign the papers and head off in my new car! I appreciated the transparency, honesty and safety of laying out my expectations of the car sale and David listened, applied No pressure, and met my requests! While waiting for the car deal to go through, we casually talked and found common interests. I noticed there was ChickfilA in the waiting area and I asked David how close the ChickfilA was located. In late March 2021 I contacted VINS to purchases an Audi. The sales agent was friendly and I explained that I would be coming from NC, driving a little over 4 hours to pick up vehicle. I inquired about the two separate $795 charges and it was explained that one was a pre-delivery inspection charge and the other an admin charge. I arrived on Sunday, where April H the transaction coordinator completed the paperwork. As I got on the highway from leaving the dealership I noticed at once at highway speeds there was a slight vibration. I left a voicemail when I got home that evening, and after a week with no reply sent an email to the transaction coordinator. After no reply I sent a follow-up email four days later to both the sales agent and the transaction coordinator. The following day I received an email from Gina who explained that she was the new sales manager. I told her my situation and she asked some follow-up questions. I uploaded the receipts for $394 along with the notes from the wheel specialist explaining the extent of the TWO bent rims on the right side. She never responded. I sent four emails, one voicemail, and two texts over a two week period. I then requested a copy of the arbitration agreement I had signed, as a copy had not been given to me. I finally reached Jimmie D by phone, and explained all that had transpired over the 3 weeks since I had purchased the vehicle. He assured me that he would run this up the chain and see if I could be helped with the expense, the call being recorded on 15 April at 5:53pm on my end (NC & VA being a single-party state). I received a follow-up email from him last week promising me that he had not forgotten about me. A subsequent email attempt has met with negative results. This was the right car but the wrong dealership. No one at this dealership had been willing to even return my emails or phone calls except for Jimmie toward the end. VINS bills themselves as a commission-free luxury dealership, but buyers would be well advised to seek your car elsewhere. My temp tag expired two weeks ago and I still haven't heard from VINS when I might get a replacement temp tag until the state tag arrives in the mail. read more
