was sold a 2015 Jeep Compass in July 2020. That had preexisting transmission issues that was NEVER MENTIONED almost RIGHT AWAY after spending ten grand on the vehicle. They wanted two more thousand to put a " new" used transmission in. Now the vehicle randomly shuts off and cannot be diagnosed. They are horrible people. Do not spend your money with these people. I bought 2 Toyota Camry from Auto Land with my brother, Mr. Chen did a great job by telling us about the detail about buying the car (financing, insurance, car fox, warranty etc..), I had a good deal on it, the car was a lot less than any other dealership I have visited, I have had my car for almost 8 months, extremely efficient no issues at all, they did the car tag for me and everything went fine. They provided me with 150,000 miles warranty on all parts of the transmission and engine, a deal that was good to be true. WORST place to get a car from. In the beginning they are nice & say everything you want to hear. As soon as your drive off the lot, they don't care about what's wrong with the car ( even though the said nothing is wrong with it ) It took 8 MONTHS to get my hard tags. They kept giving me temp. tags & the last set the gave me weren't even registered right resulting in me getting pulled over by 3 police cars because the plates weren't coming back in the system. BUYER BEWARE! These guys sell lemons and know it. PJ and Hatef are real slimy characters. Better Business Bureau lists them as an F and highly advise you to avoid purchasing a car here. It's a real life nightmare. I took a car for a test drive and it ran great. PJ says it needs suspension and exhaust work but the engine, transmission, and 4wd are perfect. PJ says he'll fix it up to make sure it passes safety inspection and I can pick it up next week. When I pick up the car, five minutes into driving the engine starts stumbling and stalls. Mechanic says the engine needs thousands of dollars in repairs and it shouldn't have passed safety inspection because the reverse lights and 4wd don't work. I call them about it and they say "you didnt buy a warranty" and then hang up on me. You can never trust a car salesman, but these guys are really selling lemons. read more

The dealers PJ and Hatef are very fake people. They got angry once i started asking too many questions like "why do i have to pay for this if it wasn't in the contract" and actually told me to leave their store...so rude. They took 3 weeks to schedule me for a repair that they made ME buy the parts for. I show up for the repair and they say they dont have me on the "non existent" schedule even though i texted them 2 hours before going in. They sold me a car with illegal tints and deliberately went out of their way to tell their mechanics not to do it for me even after I had asked them and they had said okay. Customer service sucks!!! Purchased a car here through my credit union they left the starter kill switch on from previous owner and it killed the starter. Contacted the manager and he was not concerned wanted me to basically Hotwire my own vehicle!!! Do not buy a car at Autoland in Manasas Va. Especially, if you are not knowledgeable of cars and/or if you cannot take it to someone knowledgeable before purchase. Do not believe the salesman if he says he will fix it. Check to see if it has been in an accident and if yes, check the repair very well. Also, check for any recalls on the car. I have been driving a Honda since 1983 and owned Accords1993, 2003, 2004 and not once ever had the magnitude of problems with any of them. I bought a 2008 Honda Accord from Autoland's GM, PSahih??? that he said was an V6 EX (Lied). He even gave me a fake written agreement that he would fix anything I found wrong but when I brought it back, he faked like it was fixed. When I got to another state that he claimed to fix fell apart. The car did not pass VA inspection for brakes and 3rd brake light. I have also replaced tires, the molding for the back seat, the front bumper, the battery, paid $1200 for the timing chain and all that goes with that. I paid Autoland over 8k for the car. These guys are crooks, and rip off artists. I almost got into a fight with one of them because they refused to give me the contract I signed, and when I had to drop the car off the be serviced, they refused to give me any sort of written explanation of any work that was done. Turns out that's because they didn't do any. They sold me a car that wouldn't even pass inspection. They refuse to give me a copy of the contract that I signed, and keep giving me the run around, treating me like I am ignorant, and don't understand anything, meanwhile acting like fools themselves. They assured me that they would take care of anything that was wrong with the car before I got it and that they had done a full overhaul on the car. After I purchased the car, it started having major mechanical issues, with the drive shaft, the exhaust, the catalytic converter and the battery is old and going bad. I dropped the car off to have them do the necessary work done, which they assured me they would. The first day I dropped it off, they did nothing to it, said they had to order a part before they could do any work on it. So, I dropped it off the following day. Again, they did nothing to the car, said that there were other cars that needed to be worked on first and it hadn't even been put up on the lift yet and they were going to need one or two more days to work on it. Four days go by, I decide to call the bank that funds them and explain to the bank what is going on. The representative called autoland and told them that they had to fix the car, to wit, they replied that they did not, but were going to work on the car. They explained to her that the car would be ready in two days. I picked the car up after those two days and they refused to give me any sort of write up of work done, and no work had been done on the car. I took the car to an actual Subaru dealership, and had them do a thorough inspection on the car. They found that the exhaust had had a hole that had been welded, causing a major leak and the exhaust has to be replaced in it's entirety. The power steering hoses are broken causing another leak, amongst many other things. The Subaru dealership explained to me that this car would not have even passed inspection. I spoke to the bank one more time and explained what has taken place thus far , the y called the dealership and had the dealership make a "promise, to stand by the car and ensure that it gets taken care of". Which is what they told me from the beginning. They are liars, scam and rip off artists. Do not purchase a vehicle from them!! read more

My experience here was HORRIBLE. Now, I am a genuine a nice person, so I usually have at least one nice thing to say. But, this dealership was TERRIBLE. Lets begin by saying they need to update their inventory on their website!! Now, of course you should call before you show up, but at least update your website. that's just bad marketing. I test drove and bought the car from this place. A couple days later my check engine light came on, and it didn't even pass inspection. Not to mention once I bought the car they could care less. Some how I ended up going to a shop I go to for everything and they passed me. A couple months later my engine blows! I just bought a Toyota Avalon here, it was for a very low price and I bought it As Is with no warranty. I dealt with PJ and I have to say it was a very good experience. I knew the car had the Check Engine light on and PJ coordinated me with his mechanic and fixed it. Everything I asked PJ to do, he did it, it was a very pleasant experience. I have referred more friends to him and Auto Land. I am writing this review as a customer, I am no related to anyone at Auto Land and i do not have an alternate motive in writing this review other than to congratulate them for selling me a very good car and for standing by what they said they would do and fixing the problems to more than my complete satisfaction. I had to select a star!!! Please turn around, press the back button!! Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT deal with this place. PJ is a super nice guy and I don't want to blame it on him but when it comes to shady this is the place....I know this is long but if you are considering this place PLEASE READ IT!!! We drove by and saw a 2005 Nissan Armada and had to stop. Our credit isn't that great but my husband and I both have great jobs. When we asked the price we were told $6,000 with $1500 down comes with 30 day warranty. That day we only has $500 but they were willing to start the process and take the rest of the down in 2 weeks. My first red flag should have been that the car had a rejected inspection but I was told "oh its nothing we will fix it, its just the muffler and emergency brake". While we were waiting for the loan for what we thought would be the difference $4500, we overheard several shady deals happening. (The google voice translator is great) The guy in the back that does the paperwork tried to get our loan for $6500 and such. After everything was printed the loan was for $6000 the original car price. When I asked where our $1500 is going he scratched a few numbers on the paper saying TAXES, TAGS, PROCESSING FEES, FINANCE FEE, totaling our $1500. We agreed and signed took the car and left under the agreement that we would be back for inspection And so we drove off. Two ours after leaving the Check engine light comes on and there is a knocking in the front wheel. Called and talked to PJ He said "OK we will check it no worries come in Tuesday". Went in Tuesday he checked and said "oh its nothing a sensor we fix for free now and do inspection today" I waited for 5 hours there with an infant and my 8 year old. He claims to have replaced the WHOLE exhaust system, Emergency Brake and brake sensor. And we left. Oh and the knocking was just the great tires, that are snow tires?? Not even 20 mins later the light came on again. We went back The following day and he claimed it was from the new exhaust system. A week later as I was driving the brakes went out on me and I almost had an accident. I called him and he told me to drive it in "carefully". This time my husband took it in. He was told :A SENSOR" was bad and that it needed front brakes and rotors(It just passed inspection tho) and that if we bought the parts his mechanic will do the labor FREE. He also said there was NO 30 day warranty on his cars EVER. So guess what we paid. Then 3 weeks later as I'm driving all 6 of my kids the car starts to jerk, all the lights come on and it loses power. I called PJ and guess what he said "I cant check it today it will be next week" (when my 30 days are done). I take it in the following week and guess what all 4 Cadillac converters are bad. (What happened to the WHOLE new exhaust system). He said he would fix it for free but I needed to buy the parts at his discounted price of $700. I declined. That day he cashed the check for the remainder of my deposit.... When I went to pick the truck up I asked for the tags. He claimed I needed to pay $645 to get them, it was the fee. When I said I already did and reminded him of everything he tried to say I was lying. I was so upset and mad I started to remove my belonging from the car and was going to leave it. PJ said that if I left the truck he wasn't responsible for what happened to it that it was already in my name. So I took the truck and as I was driving home gues what happened? The whole front axel arm thing broke. The truck had to be towed back to my house where it still sats to this day!!!!! After refusing to pay for tags again 30 times Pj tried to say hed help me out and pay half. I still refused. Then they agreed to mail them to me but they never wanted to see me again. I laughed and told them to do as they please. Oh and the Muffler was PATCHED not replaced which to lasted about 2 weeks... We know owe a $6000 loan for a car we cant drive and is taking up parking space. AND it will cost over $6000 to fix the cadyllac coverters, the back brakes and disk, and the axel, along with both front struts. More than what its worth..Good Stuff I tell YA.... I told her to call them and ask how they possibly registered the car in VA, they told her they would need an additional $600 to switch the tags to MD or she just didn't have to tell the insurance company...WTH. If zero was an option I would choose it. We bought a work van from these guys in January 2017. We live 4 hours away, they told us it was a dependable vehicle and that they drove it all the way from Pennsylvania. About 2 hours into our trip home the check engine light came in and the van began to drive horribly. They said if we put it in the local shop that if we sent them the invoice they would see what they could do to help. Part of the engine had to be replaced, costing us $1800.00. We sent the invoice to them the first week of February: also they didn't have the title at the shop when we purchased the vehicle. As for the title they told us they sent it out the second week of February, we'll come February 14 still no title. I called them and they said oh we already sent it, lie. I called back an hour later and asked for the tracking number, well once I entered the tracking number, seems they had taken to the post office at 1:30, I had called at 12- that's when they said they already had it sent. Well today after three weeks of dealing with these "car dealers" I called at 11:30 as instructed, just for them to say no we won't help. The answer why... we should have brought a van that was not drivable four hours back to them. He had the nerve to say we could have got a trailer or a tow truck (more money) to bring it up there. This is an extremely shady company. My brother tried to buy his first car from there and he put a deposit down on a vehicle and then quickly realized he couldn't afford it. He called back to get his deposit back and was told that the sales man- PJ - that he was working with could take care of him but he wouldn't be back until thursday... So We tried calling backing and speaking to another sales rep and they would not listen to him saying he couldn't afford it and were very rude. Whats really shady is that I checked their website to see if they had at least taken the car off the website since they still had my brothers deposit and it was still on their website so I decided to call and see what they would say if I asked to test drive it and he said "Actually we have someon... Actually that would be fine, yes its still available." So they have his deposit and are still letting other people test drive it.
