Their ATM is high tech and you can just deposit paychecks/checks by scanning them. Then the check image displays on the computer and you verify the amount. Also, after you are done in the ATM depositing checks.. you'll get digital copies printed out just incase something happens. Inside they usually have coffee and sometimes danishes to munch on while you wait. Everyone is so nice when they great you.

I have been with them since 2003, and have loved every minute of it. Prior to that, I had accounts with BB+T (at the time called First Virginia?) and Wachovia. Both of those were terrible banks - lots of hidden fees, and never willing to work with you should something go wrong. Not so with a credit union. They say it, but that's because it's true - there really IS a difference when you're an owner/member. There is more a feeling of being treated with respect, and not as an open wallet for the big banks to grab money from whenever they want. Sign up - you'll be glad you did!
