This dealership provides subpar service and lacks basic professional standards. During my last visit, I waited over three hours (as most of us do from talking with other customers) without being informed of available loaner vehicles. More alarmingly, service technicians installed a tire inside-out and refused to rectify the error, despite the vehicle being only two years old with tires they replaced a few months prior. They also attempted to upsell unnecessary spark plug replacements that were well within their service life. Furthermore, the sales environment is dismissive toward female buyers; staff repeatedly ignored me during my purchase process as well, directing all communication toward my father despite being told I was the buyer. I now take my business to Toyota in Winchester for more reliable work and respectful treatment. *Update* No, I will not respond to the company on here, I've responded and left a lot of feedback on all my experiences with Lexus and never has anyone changed anything, contacted me, etc. So no, I'm not about to reach out to you now that this is on Yelp. read more

My experience we not great at the service department. I had a 1 pm Appointment for my first oil change and was told there would be a back up mirror recall software update as well. Incas told it might take a couple hours and gad a seat in their nice waiting room where drinks were complimentary. Just before 4 I was told my car was ready. The service advisor jordan escorted me outside where it was starting to rain and said my car would be there soon. 15 min later I went back inside and was told it would be a few more min. I Had a seat and 10 min later saw my car outside. I walked out and no One was there and so asked Jordan Where the key was. He said it was in the car so I went out and got in and noticed soap still On the car and the passenger mirror bent backward. I got in and started the car and the radio was set to max, the display asked if I wanted to exit maintenance mode and the seat was almost all the way back. I finally left at 420. 3 hours 20 min seems excessive for an oil change. Hopefully it is better next time read more

700 miles past the last oil change there is oil all over my garage floor and low oil audio warning came on while driving. After arguing with them for not changing the oil during the 5,000 mile service it appears they failed to properly do a simple oil change. Lexus makes excellent vehicles but the service here is far below the Lexus standard. read more

I expressed interest in a Lexus RX350, Nader and Anup presented themselves as extremely kind, patient and professional. During the discussion and test-drive, Nader fully explained the features of the vehicle before, during and after test driving a 2026 RX 350 premium plus AWD. Naturally, I still had many questions since I had not previously owned any Lexus vehicles. These gentlemen welcomed my questions and quickly answered each and everyone of them. During the process of negotiation I met with Mr. Welch who assisted in arriving at a mutual agreement for both me and the dealership. Mr. Welch was personable and engaging with me. I truly appreciated the chance to speak with him. Additionally, he made sure to pay me one last visit just before I left the dealership in my NEW RX 350. Purchasing our 2026 TX500h from Pohanka Lexus was an absolutely incredibly easy process all thanks to quite possibly one of the best salesmen we have ever worked with. We live out of state and had a terrible experience with our local Lexus dealership. We felt neglected, with our attempts at communication often disregarded. Because of the low supply and high demand of the specific vehicle we wanted, we were told for months that they'd check their allocation from the factory and let us know when something came available. We would often never hear back after the allocation dates came and went, and with our first child arriving in June, we wanted to get the car purchased asap. I got so fed up that I started looking out of state and ended up getting linked up with Kenddrie Utuk from Pohanka Lexus. When I tell you this man went into overdrive to find the EXACT car we wanted, I am not exaggerating. Within a couple DAYS (not months) of our initial call, Kenddrie called me back that he had found the vehicle and we quickly made the deposit to secure it. He stayed in regular communication with me and made sure we were made aware of a military rebate for us to use that I was not aware of. What a disappointment. I went in for an oil change and they offered me a free inspection. Which is code for let's find other things to charge me for. Of course they found some other issues. They took out the air filter and said it needed to be changed and would cost 180.00, Okay that is a lot but it is a dealership. Then they wanted another 100.00 to wipe out the housing !!! Really!!! I called my salesman, Bernard McHale and inquired about having someone pick up my car to take it in for service. He put me in touch with Mr Saad Ahmed in the service department who made all the arrangements. My car was picked up in the morning on time and delivered back to me the same afternoon on time. When I needed a tire replacement, the dealer refused to cover it under the warranty! Disappointing logic at Pohanka Lexus today. I had a reservation for an emissions test, and when the service advisor suggested adding a 15-point inspection, I gladly accepted. They then retracted the suggestion, claiming it was too much of a hassle to move the car between service areas. I expect a premium dealership to have a more seamless workflow. It's a bit ridiculous to offer a service and then withdraw it because the car is already parked in the "wrong" spot. read more

I had and oil change and maintenance check up for my Lexus NX 350. There was also a software update that needed to be done. The check in process was quick. They had all my car information and knew exactly what work I needed. Kyle was very knowledgeable and helpful. The whole work up took a little less than two hours. I got a text when my car was ready and it took no time at all to get my bill settled and pick up my car. The only thing I wished they did was run my car through the wash. I know other dealer services did that, but they didn't here. It could've been because it was drizzling outside at the time. But still, my car could've use a quick wash. Going to get your car service can be a stressful experience especially when you're a younger female. I've came to get service done a few time at Pohanka Location. The first time one person tried to charge me for my maintenance because they didn't bother to check my account and thought i was naïve child until i corrected them and told them i had warranty. The second time Mr. Charles had me waiting there from 8 AM - closing and fail to send my car in. So Mr Bradley had to help me, blessed his soul because that poor man had to watch me cry because i was furious even though it wasn't his fault. But i came back because i needed new tires and Mr. Jordan T was great. He didn't treat me like a child and actually solved my problems without finessing me. & he doesn't make me wait the entire day and my car is washed everytime i leave. I've been with Lexus since 2022 and almost everyone that have serviced me have always acted snobby. Pros: First purchase was a pleasant experience. Cons: Second purchase will probably be my last purchase from this dealership. Designated sales person left before my arrival and I was cycled through to two other sales persons. I waited three hours before paperwork started. Administrative team tried not to uphold the OTD price when it came to taxes and fees. Finance team refused to uphold the rates quoted in email by the absent sales person. Close out team was complaining about our late presence (5+ hours to complete the purchase process), even though the significant delays was from their end. I returned to this dealership because of my positive first experience and "guarantee" on the financing rates for the second purchase, which turned out to be a hoax. If I had time to go to another dealership that offered me a better OTD price and sales package, I would have done so. More than likely, I'll be purchasing my next vehicle at another dealership because it doesn't sit well when the business doesn't uphold their end of the bargain. read more

Three years ago I wanted to buy a GX. The sales rep dismiss me, so I drove to Pennsylvania and bought the GX. This being the closest service area, I still got it serviced here. The website and phone messaging leave the impression that there's a really nice lounge with massaging seat seats and what seems to be like a really nice snack supply. What you'll find, however our worn out torn, ragged seating, and massage seats that are plugged in, but don't appear to been functional for at least the past three years. The seating areas are not the most cleanly, and the snacks, and fruit are less than desirable looking. Needless to say, this year, I decided to purchase a 2026. Again went into the sales area, hoping to just get one locally, and almost identical to my first visit I was dismissed. Perhaps I look young or not able to purchase a GX lol I don't know, but I left thinking I guess I'll just drive back to Pennsylvania and buy another one, and I did. Some of the time I purchased the original GX I went in for service approximately four times. On one of those occasions, they kept the GX for an extended period of time, and I asked for good communication during that time because I was planning an out-of-town trip. And if I knew they were gonna have to keep the GX over the weekend I would've made other arrangements, the service department agreed to call me on a Friday early so that I could make some arrangements. They never did, and when I attempted to call them, I've never got an answer. I eventually got through late Friday evening after it was too late for me to make other arrangements and they notified me. They were keeping the vehicle through the weekend. After I purchased the 2026, I noticed the passenger side massaging seats were nonfunctional. I took the GX in for service, they had it for about 45 minutes, returned it to me told me they flashed the memory and that solve the problem. Within 3 to 4 miles of me being down the road, in route to my next appointment, I noticed the seat still wasn't working. I called the dealership back, ISH was my service tech. I informed him of the continued problem and he asked me to bring the vehicle back and they'll look at it again on another day. I expressed my disappointment with having to do that, given that I live about an hour away. He promised to call me the next day to arrange for someone to come to my residence and pick up the vehicle and leave a loaner. That would've been this past Wednesday. When Wednesday evening came around and he didn't call, I called service back the next day on Thursday. And just like before, I got no answer. However, I did get a message from the service manager, kyle asking that I fill out a survey I believe. I called kyle and left a voicemail. Explaining the details I have here, that was Thursday, kyle never called me back. I called again on Friday was put on hold and eventually disconnected. Again, ISH never called. Today I called back, on the weekend to inquire about the service and vehicle swap. My first call rang about five times and then disconnected. On my second try, I finally got through to someone in service who spoke to, the service manager (Kyle). Kyle told her to tell me that he would have ISH call me back when he got into the office later today. I informed her that I had left kyle a message previously and he never called me back either. What I've noticed that is a pattern of behavior is everyone will profusely apologize and say I'm sorry, but no one has a capacity to take action and to actually make things better, or two just action a promise. The customer service, the environment, and the people working here - a.k.a. the culture is one of the most unprofessional that I have seen with respect to Lexus. It feels more like dealing with the Department of motor vehicles than it does a high-end automotive company that values their customers. My recommendation is by a different luxury vehicle. The experience I have an Audi, for example, and Mercedes completely opposite of this experience. Regretfully. read more
