I truly wanted to like this place since it's marketed as an elegant, sophisticated and performs high quality work, but it let me all the way down. I was there this week, my first time, to get the captivating set lash extension. first the place was freezing cold I was literally shivering while getting my lashes, second my tech was EATING while doing my lashes, as I laid there I heard her take bites and she was literally chewing in my ear and I believe she wasn't wearing a mask because I can feel her breathing on my face and I could smell her food- Yuck how unhygienic is that!? Second my tech was vey rough when handling my eyelashes, I have gotten my eyelashes done at another place in NY and I literally fall asleep because I barely feel anything. This time my lids felt sore, it felt like she was pulling my eyelashes or cutting them off my lids. The results honestly were inferior like I had gone to some yanky nail salon and got them done my lashes did not look flawless like when I go to my NY City spot. I went once, would forgo going to this lash salon again. Unfortunately I found it not as up to date with eyelash trends as it should be. I wasn't given the choice of synthetic, mink etc lashes. The styles they offer are subpar. I opted for the cat eye it looked nothing like the cat eye but it was ok, but decided on going elsewhere for my eyelash needs. I was recommended to Lure Lash by a friend who has Anna do Lash Application. I called last week to schedule a consult and Lash application with Anna, but I was greeted by Ally who stated she would assist me and that Anna was not available. As she was applying the Lashes she was very sloppy, she dropped glue on my face and a lash, but I understand it happens sometimes. After the application I was satisfied until it was almost time for my event. By this time I had lost 2 lashes from one eye and since I do my lashes myself at times I replaced them, I went into Lure Lash because this was My 10th Anniversary with my Husband and I wanted my Lashes Beautiful, but that did not happen. After that it was worse. I called LL the next day and was met with a very Nasty and Rude Ally, she told me that I kept blinking and moving while she was doing the Lash Application and that I could come back if I wanted to...With that being said, I kindly declined. I want no parts of Lure Lash and their Rude workers. People who do Lash Applications, should be licensed by the State. It is a risk when it comes to your eyes, what Happens if you drop glue in someone's eye? Is Ally trained in Customer Service. I don't know who her customers are but she's horrible... This place is horrible. I've had lash extensions for at least 4 years, and I tried this place because it was close to home for a few months. They have no idea what they're doing, the lashes would fall out within days and then they would blame me for it. Absolutely was never my fault. Every dollar I spent there was a waste of money, I had to go in there weekly. Quality lashes and technicians will leave you with amazing lashes and they should last at least 3 weeks. One time I went there and left and it looked like my lashes were burned and the sloppiest job I ever saw. When I went back in there to get them redone, they couldnt believe how terrible they were. My review is solely based on their lack of professionalism, time management and customer service. I booked an appointment last week through the Yelp app for today June 1st at 10am with Jessica. I arrived on time, the receptionist (young slim black woman w/ short hair) asked me if I had an appointment I told her yes at 1oam with Jessica. That was it, I wasn't greeted, I wasn't asked if I would like a beverage nor if I was a new customer to Lure Lash. There was also another woman present (long blonde hair short Caucasian) by the name of Anna who later called me and informed me she was one of the "owners" As the receptionist, busied herself touching up Anna's lashes, I waited for Jessica to arrive. Jessica came flying through the door at 10:08 am, went into a back room came out and wasn't even aware that a customer (myself) was waiting to receive service. I could hear the receptionist tell Jessica that I was her 10am. It was 10:14 am before Jessica said anything to me... it wasn't a hello, sorry for the inconvenience or even an introduction.... Jessica told me Go to table 2! I found this behavior extremely rude. When I spend my money for a service I expect to be treated with respect and appreciation. I walked over to table two and Jessica asked me 2x if I were a new customer, I told her I was and the receptionist pops up from her seat and hands me a clip board with a couple sheets of paper to sign. I had had enough of the bullshit and decided to leave. I refuse to support any business that treats their customers like their doing them a favor. I'm an avid consumer of nail salons, tanning salons, spas and any type of business that help women look and feel pretty. What these establishments need to keep in mind is that without loyal customers they wouldn't survive. After leaving, Anna (one of the owners) who was present during my visit calls me to apologize. I appreciate the apology but your elitist attitude was apparent the moment I walked in. Maybe if you were more humble your staff would be as well. Horrible experience to make any paying customer upset. I walked inside and there were two people waiting for eyelash extensions, so i asked for a threading. The girl at the counter then proceeded to lean over and ask the woman doing eyebrows if she would do a threading, while she was doing nothing. She very rudely said NO, I have never been so appalled by how I was handled while just trying to bring business to a place that i had heard was great. Not a good experience at all. After a week of following all of the care instructions, more than half of the lashes fell out of my left eye. I tried to make the two week follow up appointment, but there were no appointments available... now I will have to pay for a three week appointment. I resigned to make the three week appointment and pay the additional fee but when I showed up, I had been scheduled for a different day/time. I tried to reschedule AGAIN.. They couldn't see me until a week later, a four week appointment. At this point, I had no lashes left in either eye. The manager told me that I had the option of seeing a junior tech or paying for a three week appointment neither of which was confirmed with me after I was told that one of them would. I am so disappointed in the service here. $120 completely down the drain. read more

So I wanted to give my two week update. I asked around and I found some interesting things not only about the excellent service I received but what most lash places do. First off most places don't apply single lashes, so instead of loosing one you loose a plethora at a time. Which equals to whack looking lashes. Also at my two weeks fill and not always being the carefullest person, my lashes lasted!!! Yes I lost some, but they still looked good! Most places use a toxic glue, that can cause irritation. What I have been told is that they glue lashes to your skin!!! The ladies at Lure Lash glue single lashes to yr single original lashes! Yes it takes time, like two hours, but the look is ammmaaazzzzing!!! So natural and full!!! And none harmful to your natural lashes! This place is awesome! Highly recommend! I just moved to the area six months ago and was looking for someone who was able to do volume versus extensions and these ladies have been wonderful and my lashes look amazing! Not everybody can do volume and make them look natural. I get asked if I use Latisse all the time. Carmela is who I go to but I haven't seen anyone walk out of there who didn't look great! I felt the Allure as soon as I first entered this cute little salon. I love the aesthetic of this place and while I got my lashes done I could feel nothing but peace and bliss. Although the thought of getting my eyelashes done for the first time was very intimidating, my experience here completely changed my mind. Had a bad first experience with lure lash, HOWVER, both owners carmella and Anna ROCK and made sure that I was taken care of. Anna does my lashes and has been doing them for the last past year, she is my lash tech and therapist lol I talk to her about EVERYTHING. But her work ethic and their apprecition for their customers goes above and beyond. I took a break and tried to find someone else in the area that was comparable to their prices and service and could not find anything so I came back to lure lash and anna welcomed me with open arms. I LOVE LOVE LOVE lure lash, I do not EVER miss an appointment and I love going, I get my lashes and don't have to wear a drop od makeup, just some lip gloss and my face looks amazing. Can't live without them.I get my refills every two weeks and they last, I swim, I shower I do everything as they were mine, sometimes I forget their on, One thing for sure two things for certain, if you don'y like something, or theres a problem... just let them know and they will fix it.
