Her studio is located in a building that has a few beauty/wellness related business that each have their own suite which I thought was pretty cool. Carmen's suite was cozy (shout out to her jazz playlist) and the complementary snacks are a win. Before we began she asked about my brow waxing journey and how I prefer to have my brows shaped. She walked me through every step of the process from brow mapping (which was a first for me), trim and waxing. I typically have major breakouts/redness after waxing and she was the first person to tell me what these type of breakouts were called and how I can help prevent it for future waxes. The room is pretty cozy, clean and soothing. I left my wife in Nael's (the lady that gives the facial cleaning) able hands. I waited in their waiting area, which by the way is very spacious, and includes FREE coffee, water, etc. After about an hour or so my wife steps out with a huge grin. She seems very satisfied and I noticed right away a big difference, her skin is clearer and less blemished. My wife mentioned that Nael was gentle, patient and very good at what she does. Aylin does my gel manicures and she is beyond talented. Her designs are always immaculate, and she somehow manages to push me out of my comfort zone in the best way. INFECTION!!!! BEWARE!!!!…read more (Pictures included, it gets worse & worse) We went in on April 16 for both my partner and I to get pedicures the day before our vacation on April 17. While I did notice dirty looks coming from both of the ladies performing the pedicures, I chose to focus on the quality of work rather than how uncomfortable both of these women (Irene and Diana) made us feel. Diana did a great job on my pedicure, so I will not criticize her work apart from the fact that she should keep her personal beliefs outside of her job. Irene, on the other hand, was completely dreadful. On top of making us feel incredibly uncomfortable, my partner left with both big toes infected. I've attached photos of the toes after the pedicure. We left for vacation on April 17, so I called the salon immediately. The daughter of the owner (I was never given her name) was very apologetic and gave me her personal phone number to review the photos of the poorly done pedicure. She gave me advice from her mother and told me to update her. I then texted her again on April 18 with updated photos showing that the infection had actually WORSENED after following what we were instructed to do. To this I never received a response... As a result, my partner was miserable throughout our entire vacation and was limping the whole time. I wasted $70, I didn't even ask for a refund, I just wanted some help to fix the horrible work that this woman did and was ignored. At this point, I hope the NJ State Board of Cosmetology will be better help. Even after dealing with this unprofessional behavior, I still paid & tipped without requesting any sort of refund (which, at this point, I am owed so it can atleast go toward any medical bill that the incompetence of your employee has caused). As I am writing this review on 04/27/26, the infection is still getting worse. Such a shame, I love supporting fellow Latina owned brands. Just shameful. BEWARE!!!

After that, the owner left and while my hair was wet, it seemed good and I thought it was going to be great. But no! the lady left a clear visible line on top and the color was definitely not what I showed them, and on top of that, the lady who did my hair had the audacity of telling me that I was angry since the beginning! unbelievable....
