Excellent as usual... The place looks and creams screams high end bar vibes but has the hustle and bustle of a fast food restaurant. Seafood was fresh and delicious. The service was good.. however there was some opportunity there. I'll definitely be back!

Very festive for the holidays! The boat themed interior is very unique- definitely worth going below street level for. The deviled egg with a fried oyster on top may be the best bite I have ever had in an NYC restaurant. Never been to Lure, but finally got my opportunity when I met my cousins visiting from CA here. Bar area was very busy, with the restaurant having multiple dining areas including a sushi chef counter towards the back. The menu appears to be mostly "Asian" flavor profile inspired seafood with some exceptions. For entree, got the whole fried snapper which was good but honestly would probably rather just go to a Thai spot and get a snapper larb. Would come back in the future to try the sushi, since that seems like a major thing here. Saketini is strong and very botanical, so do not get if you are not into martinis!

A few of my friends and I were looking to get together for some dinner and to catch up - the biggest question was, where? We first decided on a place that was new to us - and after seeing Lure Fishbar floating around on social media I thought it would be a good place to check out. That being said, I booked a table and we made plans to link up. Lure is located in SoHo, really in the thick of it in a subbasement of a building. The space is pretty large for a lower Manhattan restaurant, and the entire dining room has a nautical feel. It's meant to give off the impression that you're on a boat with the fixtures and aesthetics to match. The dining room is louder than I expected, with most of the tables and booths being in the middle of the space with a large (beverage) bar to the left and the raw bar on the back wall. The clientele is a mixed bag - families, people my age, groups of gen Z - all i various dress codes. Rarely have I seen a mix of people in a single space. It goes without saying but the menu mostly contains seafood items. They have a large raw bar selection, as well as sushi, caviar, apps, mains, a few pastas, and some sides. But first a drink - we had two round and I tried one of their cocktails each time. Both were pretty good, nothing too out of this world but solid overall. We decided to start with one of the seafood towers and a couple of apps. We went with one of the smaller towers which contained clams, oysters, crab claws, shrimp cocktail, and tuna tartare. I'm not an oyster fan, but everything else was quite tasty - they paired the seafood with a few sauces which acted as great complements. We also ordered shrimp tempura, the crab cake, and fluke crudo. All of these were solid - my favorite was the crudo due to the presentation and flavor accents; I thought the crab cake was was the weakest - it was deep fried and overall a little too heavy. For my main I went with the Branzino St. Tropez; this was a filet served on top of mashed potatoes, and spinach topped with crispy capers and finished with brown butter. The dish was fine overall - fish was cooked well though the potatoes could have been smoother; I did appreciate the balance of veg to starch. We opted for dessert, and I went with the deep-dish cookie. This was served warm and topped with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. It was just okay; they were going for that warm cookie moment but it was kinda underdone which led to it being really soggy underneath the surface. It needed to be in the oven for a little longer and then it would have been perfect. Service was fine - a little impersonal in my opinion but the food came out at a good pace which I appreciated; this seems to be a sore spot based on other reviews. Overall, we had a great time at Lure Fishbar - the food was solid, the aesthetics were fun, and the company was great. Definitely a good option for dining if you're in SoHo.

As a former New Yorker, this establishment has been undefeated since my first visit years ago. Now, that i travel to the coty for work 4-6 times a year, it has become my go to, weather solo or with friends. Dimly lit, perfect for conversations and vibe. Knowledgeable and kind staff. Perfect execution of every dish. And the flavors are always to the max. If you love seafood, pasta, sushi, and great cocktails you cant go wrong with Lure. The sushi bar is my usual seating, but you're OK anywhere here.

I am blown away!!! From the minute I walked down the stairs I was captivated by the vibe of being on a classy yacht. But then sitting in the main dining area in a semi circle booth, I felt like the captain of the ship. The crew then took over with the most casual warm friendly attentive service. I knew this was going to be an amazing way to celebrate my wife's 64th and my 65th birthday. Then came the star of show. A beautiful platter of oysters, clams, snow crab, tuna tar tar and seafood salad. It was a wow!!! Next we had the crispy rice sushi assortment, bacon wrapped shrimp and the halibut! Everything was to die for and I cannot wait to come back with my friends and family to share this gem of an establishment! Bravo to the amazing Lure Fishbar team and Thank You!

I came here early this year for Winter Restaurant Week lunch on a whim. Ambiance brought back memories from the last time I was here which was in 2009. Service was great. Food was just as good as I remembered 16 years ago. For the two course restaurant week lunch, I added a wine pairing. For my appetizer I had the rock shrimp tempura with a glass of chardonnay. For my dinner entree I had the miso salmon with a glass of Cote du Rhone. I devoured everything. Wine was generous for the food consumed. I'd like to return to indulge in their happy hour.

Totally loved the place. In the heart of soho. Great menu. Friendly staff fun ambience. Sat at the bar. Ordered burger. Mushrooms and yellow tail carpaccio. All were absolutely perfect. I cannot wait to go back. And try more places on the menu.

Lure is the best! Lure is one of those places that is always consistent. Does it ever blow my socks off in terms of how amazing the dish was? No. But is it always very very good with zero complaints around? Yes. Service is always great with attentive servers and always friendly energy. The ambience is very cool as you feel like you're in an old ship and it's the perfect setting for a seafood dinner. Keep doing what you're doing Lure and we will keep coming back!

Wow! My first experience surpassed my highest expectations. Upon walking in immediately became immersed in the nautical theme of the restaurant. From the yacht-like interior, decor and antique-like wooden walls, the ambiance set the mood for a dining experience on the sea. To complement the vibe, the service was great. The entire team was pleasant, attentive and very professional. Our server helped me navigate the menu, accommodated my food sensitivities, and made perfect wine pairing recommendations that took the meal to a new level. All other elements aside, the food alone deserves 5 stars in my opinion. I started the with a few East coast oysters and some nigiri sushi (tamago and sea eel), both of which tasted fresh, flavorful and no cocktail or soy sauce was necessary. I followed that with the slow baked turbot entree (an east coast white fish) jasmine rice and a glass of Albariño, recommended by my server. It all was delicious and left me wishing the meal would never end. Lastly, I could not pass up ordering a salmon skin sushi roll which did not disappoint. As you can probably already tell, I have nothing but good things to share. If you get the opportunity, go dine at Lure and experience it all first-hand.

Visited Lure Fishbar on a Wednesday evening with a girlfriend. Our reservation was at 5:45 (which was the only time we could get) and the place was full by 6pm! The restaurant itself is a really nice space and had a great buzzy atmosphere to it for a Wednesday. We both started with Lychee Martinis which were very good (although at $22 each you would hope they were). We ordered the tempura shrimp and the spicy tuna crispy rice to start. The shrimp portion was very generous and had a really good flavour. The crispy rice was also very tasty, although nearly $30 for 5 pieces it is a little on the pricey side. For our mains we ordered the Shazam roll and the tuna avocado roll and my friend also ordered a lobster bisque. The sushi was ok but it didn't blow me away. My friend enjoyed her bisque and the portion was generous. We split our bill and it came to $140 each (including tax and tip). We did have two cocktails so that bumped the price up. I don't eat out in soho very often but I think for the area the price is probably inline with what you would expect to pay. I would revisit Lure but I would probably order something different instead of the sushi rolls, although make sure you order that tempura shrimp!

Cody was our server and he was fabulous. So kind and checked on us but not too much. The food was unbelievable- so delicious!!! I highly suggest the oysters and the sashimi, so fresh. Amazing experience!

Tl;dr: if you're visiting and doing a day in soho, Lurefishbar is a good option. If you're a New Yorker and have to entertain a large group of people from out of town, it's a good option. If you're a New Yorker that lives here, you can skip it. Ultimately, its pros come down to location and ease of seating larger parties, with tables nicely spaced in Soho where restaurants tend to be small and crowded as rents tend to be high. To that point, I joked that this place is a seafood diner or "nice" restaurant on a cruise ship, and by the end of the meal this was less of a joke and more of a, "yeah...that's what's we're feeling." Both the menu and interior are large. The menu boasts "free refills" on soft drinks (though I was slightly disappointed that point didn't deliver) and they even have a deep dish cookie that comes with a scoop of ice cream on their dessert menu. Their fries are solid and it looks like they can easily accommodate kids and picky eaters (I say this from witnessing chicken fingers being delivered to a child a few tables down). I went with my friend and we got the Kanpachi Sashimi as an app, and then shared both the Artichoke Ravioli, side of fries, and Branzino. There's a whole sushi menu but I truly can't imagine getting sushi here. The Kanpachi Sashimi was good, but the bar in nyc is high. I think the Artichoke Ravioli was the best of the meal - it comes with 4 large pieces and the sauce is rich and delicious. The Branzino was good, but similar to the sashimi as you can find better branzino in nyc (though points to the staff for splitting the portion for us). For dessert we got their homemade ice cream which fell a bit flat for me. I joked that the strawberry felt like someone whispering "strawberry" in your ear as you ate it. It was a little too subtle for me. Something to note if you're sensitive to noise or wired differently (like I am), the interior seating is very loud. I brought my earplugs and even my friend agreed that the sound was overwhelming. On other sensory notes, the lighting was nicely diffused but the spoon for ice cream was an immediate no for me (IYKYK). All to say, friendly staff, a nice meal, but with so many amazing places in this city it's hard to make a case for this place outside the location and convenience.

I met Connor at Zero Bond, which should have been my first red flag, but let's be honest, I wasn't there for the architectural integrity. I was there because women who want to end up in Jane Austen novels move to the Cotswolds and marry vicars. Women who want to end up in Hermès move to Tribeca and join Zero Bond. He was wearing an Audemars Piguet perpetual calendar covered in diamonds. Strike one. A perpetual calendar is a technical marvel, a horological achievement on par with the Sistine Chapel or a perfectly executed blowout that survives a SoulCycle class. You don't bedazzle that watch the way Jersey girls do their hooha; some things are meant to remain sacred, untouched by the rhinestone industrial complex. But his posture was good and he had that specific kind of confidence that comes from watching numbers go up on a screen for five years straight. "Crypto," he said, like that explained everything. "I split my time between Miami and New York." I nodded sympathetically. "I split my week between Forma and Barry's." We had so much in common. Lure was his suggestion, and when we walked in I immediately understood why crypto bros love it here. The lighting is low enough to forgive their Fashion Nova approach to luxury, and everyone's wearing something that cost a fortune but looks like it lost a fight with a lawnmower. Purposeful distressing. Intentional holes. A nine-hundred-dollar Amiri tee that appeared to have been mauled by a very expensive bear. Golden Goose sneakers pre-dirtied at the factory, because God forbid you earn your own scuff marks through actual living. Connor was in Amiri jeans with strategic rips and Balenciaga Triple S sneakers. The man clearly understood price points. I was making a Dating 101 mistake thinking I could change him, or at least where we swiped his Amex. I wore my Khaite Benji dress and Manolo BBs, a staple of the genetically and financially blessed women, but at Lure I felt like I had accidentally crashed a Supreme drop, inside of Lure and more devastatingly at my own table. Connor ordered like a man who had never cooked a meal or had to. Every expensive roll, none of the interesting ones, the kind of order that said he had been here before but learned nothing. He did not ask if I wanted to share, which was bold for a man whose understanding of generosity probably begins and ends with bottle service gratuity. Then, inevitably, the crispy tuna rice. Of course. The crowd-pleaser of the crypto class. It arrived glistening, smug, engineered for Instagram and men who believe taste can be bought in trios of three. He looked proud, like he had just invented it. I let him have his moment. Sometimes it is kind to let men think they discovered the thing everyone already knows is good. There was one piece left. Connor reached, so did I. Our chopsticks met like swords, his lacquered, mine deliberate. "I ordered it," he said. "And I'm not dressed like a spoiled teenager," I accidentally Freudian-slipped out. The table froze. Even the iced-out perpetual calendar seemed to stop ticking. His eyes dropped to his Amiri jeans, then back to me. I watched him process it, slow as a markdown. Then he laughed, actually laughed. "Fair," he said. "I thought women liked fashion." He thought this was fashion. The Amiri jeans, the Balenciagas, the logo tee that probably came with its own vape. And that's the tragedy, isn't it? Men like Connor think fashion means buying things loud enough to drown out their personality. They don't realize the ripped denim he worships is just the trickle-down runoff of an entire aesthetic economy, copied from Saint Laurent's 2013 heroin chic, filtered through three PR interns, and spat out at a markup so suburban boys could feel Parisian. That's not fashion; that's laundering aspiration, which Connor seemed proficient in, just through stablecoins, not rinse cycles. He doesn't know what cut, proportion, or fabrication mean, he just knows a price tag and a celebrity sighting. He was smiling, proud, oblivious, happy in his bad taste, like a golden retriever who just brought you a dead bird and can't figure out why you're not thrilled. And maybe that's what got me. The confidence. The conviction. The sheer, unshakeable belief that ruin could be chic. The check came. He paid without blinking or explaining the blockchain for the first time in minutes. Perhaps underneath the bedazzled watch and tasteless denim there was a man with terrible judgment, but one who understood what things should cost. Verdict: Lure, 4 out of 5. The fish is impeccable, the tuna rice worth committing petty theft over, and the crowd is what happens when people discover wealth before taste. Connor, 2 out of 5. Ruining a

The salmon tartare with sesame crackers was excellent; clean, fresh, and well balanced. Jeanine recommended the shrimp avocado sliders, and that was the right call; they were outstanding. Happy hour oysters were fresh and well balanced. Littleneck clams were good, though slightly less compelling than the oysters. The fish tacos were good but not particularly memorable. Fried calamari was well executed, though the accompanying sauce could have used a little more flavor. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I knew the experience was going to be next level. Thank you Jay for seating me and my friend at the best table in the house. Thank you to our phenomenal server Shamim. Your service was really over the top stellar. Soon as you sit at the table, menus are placed. Complimentary delicious bread, water, and warm hand towels are provided to clean your hands. The seafood buffet is $168 and you can order everything, as many times as you like. The buffet is contactless. The food is served to you at your table. Because the food is served in a manner that is based on a shared dining experience. All guests at the table have to order either buffet or Prix Fix menu. My order of Rockefeller oysters, and clams were simply the best I ever tasted. The way they were prepared is the only way I want to taste them. The next dishes they brought out were fried shrimp, sizzling shrimp scampi. Soft shell crab was cooked to perfection. My garlic butter Nova Scotia Lobster was divine. Cooked, and served to perfection! Next the sizzling sea bass was brought to the table! O-M-G! Within a second after arriving to our table still sizzling. Jose came to personally debone the fish (never had that done before) and he added the Thai chili sauce. At this point, my body was in a foodie coma! After a brief clean up of our table. I left our dining room, and went to the ladies room. When you walk in the ladies room, between the floral scent, and decor you are in awe of the details, the bathroom was dreamy. Back at the table our two servers set up a Picasso style dessert with hand drawn chocolate with the ice cream and a delicious cheesecake. Thank you for the birthday wishes, and celebration for my friend. José out did his self with his talented art skills. Special thanks to the Manager Sam for stopping by every table to see if everything was to our satisfaction. It was beyond our satisfaction. Tip: Make reservations even if your a party of two. Be sure all guests arrive at the same time. Tip#2: The upstairs level is perfect for large gatherings, corporate events, holiday events, bridal, baby showers, bar/bat mitvah's, and industry events.

LOVE the rococo inspiration. The opulent decor made me feel like I'm dining in a palace. Most of the tables are set up in private rooms too so you can have your own space for your feast. The all-you-can-eat menu is made fresh to order, not sitting out like a typical buffet, which makes a huge difference in quality. I loved the seafood selection: lobster, crab, shrimp, oysters, clams, mussels, octopus, fish, calamari ... you name it. What really stood out to me was how much variety there is. Even the steak, fried rice, noodles, lamb, and veggies were delicious. The service was super attentive and quick with bringing out dishes. The price is definitely a splurge, but worth it for the experience and high qualit. It's not just a meal, it's a whole vibe. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, over-the-top dining experience in Times Square!
