    Seafood pasta

One White Street's à la carte menu was quite reasonable and ended up being a delicious way to celebrate a birthday. We stuck with their classics, including their focaccia, which was quite large. I wish there was a bit more of the tomato sauce but otherwise thought this was the perfect way to start a meal. We ordered a few additional side dishes and went with the burger and seafood pasta for our mains. I was quite full by the time I finished my burger, which I thought was cooked beautifully and compared on par with other famous burgers like Rolo's, Monkey Bar and Burger Joint. While juicy, it didn't feel overly messy although I wish they paired it with something else like some shoestring fries (available if you order steak frites) or some fingerling potatoes. The pasta was also quite good and generously packed with a hefty amount of seafood.

Killer first experience at One White Street. Grabbed the 1WS Burger and Crispy Potatoes--both were 10/10. The 90 Mile Highball is a must-order if you want something crisp and well-balanced. Great spot, great energy. Will be back.

I don't recommend getting the tasting menu. It's pretty casual in terms of ambience and there are multiple floors. Service is decently quick. It gets pretty loud so it's hard to hear. The mix of flavors didn't feel right in the tasting and it was decently heavy / not balanced. Some dishes like the shrimp pasta felt like the flavor wasn't matched well and it was pretty expensive. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't be coming back.

My partner and I shared an exquisite meal at One White Street. The ambiance is definitely chic, and decor was a mix of rustic and modern. The menu looked delicious, we opted to share the burger (which they offered to cut in half for us!) and the slow roasted pork collar. Both were delicious: the richness of the wagyu patties, the pork was cooked perfectly.. even the polenta, which isn't typically up our alley, was great! All in all a great dining experience. Would recommend!

The transition from summer to fall in the city is abrupt and downright rude. It happens in either late August or early September when the first cold breeze from areas more rural and father north seeps through the city streets and reminds you of what's about to come. I did One White Street (OWS) during this transition, and it was the only thing that got me through that fleeting feeling that summer was officially ending, and it was no longer socially acceptable for me to be ordering rum punches at 1pm. Nestled in a landmarked townhouse on a busy Tribeca street (which is within itself a juxtaposition), OWS prides themselves as a premiere farm to table option in NYC's Michelin fine dining scene. They've held onto both their Michelin star and Michelin green star as long as I can remember, which is a huge accomplishment within itself given the stringent requirements of the green star system. As I mentioned in the beginning of this review, I happened to be there during that first cold breeze. Whether or not they consulted with a meteorologist and planned this menu for that event - I do not know, but let me tell you, it was perfect. Their amuse is an assortment of seasonal charcuterie and vegetables. While I was digging in I felt like that episode of no reservations - food porn where Tony was face deep in the best iberico ham he's had in his life. Charcuterie is supposed to be both simple and highlight either the flavor of high quality meat or the technique of a good quality charcutier. Let me tell you, this did the job like a 70s style Gambino crime family hit. After that, a flurry of locally sourced salads and moderately sized dishes came pouring out of the kitchen. The ingredients and flavor profiles created the perfect bridge between summer and fall. Delicate, warm weather mini shrimp from Montauk were cooked in a hearty tomato sauce and festooned with pasta. A salad with 20 ingredients (half of which I didn't even know existed) created a different sensation in every bite. The beef course had me on my knees, praying to the bovine gods of upstate New York. Who knew you could get top tier A5 wagyu from a farm upstate? Japan - get ready for some competition in the global meat trade. I'm convinced it I hadn't been to OWS during that dreadful seasonal transition, I likely would have taken the E all the way to Jamaica station and booked a last minute flight to Jamaica to get the hell away from that lukewarm cold blast. I'm glad I decided to stay.

OWS fills a whole townhouse with cozy, neighborhood charm, the kind of place you'd invite your in-laws to. Go for the tasting menu, portions are so generous that each dish feels like a full entrée. The meal started strong with a French onion tartlet (tastes just like the soup) followed by an incredibly generous slice of foie gras served with pain de mie. This was my fav, loved how rich yet bright the dish was with citrusy kumquat and calamansi cutting though the intensity The squash ravioli was pure autumn, delicious combo of brown butter, hazelnuts, crispy onions, and sage. We swapped the monkfish for the duck, and absolutely do the same The meat was so juicy and perfectly fatty, sauces weren't even necessary. The skin and that thin sliver of fat were insanely good. The wagyu also had that deep, primal beefiness which paired so well with the black garlic sauce. The sourdough felt like overkill tho, good but just too much carb. Desserts didn't quite land. The Ginger froyo was overpowering and the pairing with apples and treacle tart felt off. Service started slipping toward the end, with forgotten utensils, a missing sweet finale, and the check arriving unprompted. Overall, highly recommend this spot while I continue to check off this street. tasting menu $178* duck supplement $20 최근 포스팅한 Rigor Hill Market 팀이 공동으로 운영하는 미슐랭 원스타 식당!

We had a great start with the lovely hostess who fit us in, but were told the only option was a chef's counter seat on the third floor. I saw a few open tables downstairs but wasn't given the option so asked for the open table on the 3rd floor... The first level feels lively and welcoming; upstairs felt cramped, had an odd smell, and lacked the same vibe. If you do go, be specific about where you would like to sit. Our server never introduced himself, he came by after about 15 minutes, dropped menus, and didn't explain anything--disappointing since the menu isn't easy to navigate. No smile, no warmth, and overall just disconnected service. While the restaurant was busy, it wasn't busy enough to feel how we were overlooked. The focaccia bread and butter were delicious. My husband loved his burger but wished he could have asked for more sauce. My chicken was cooked perfectly but lacked au jus, leaving it dry. Potatoes were average. Nothing really wowed us. To top it off, our plates stayed on the table until dessert menus arrived. For a $250 michelin meal for two, I expected more attentiveness and friendliness. Maybe it was an "off" night, but between the seating, the lackluster service, and the so-so food, I doubt we'll be back. I honestly think you will find better places that welcome you for half the price.

We went to OWS for my husband's birthday and decided to go with the a la carte menu even though we've heard good things about their prix fixe. Our waitress was nice but it took us almost 15 minutes to get our drinks as she served the couple who came after us, which didn't leave the best impression. We started our meal with the fennel salad, the tomato focaccia as well as the eggplant dip. Both fennel salad and eggplant dip were tasty and flavourful, but we've had better focaccias at other restaurants. For our mains, we got the burger and the tagliatelle. Burger was surprisingly delicious - my husband thinks it's even better than Rolo's! We also enjoyed the tagliatelle which was packed with shrimp flavour, and had a lot of shrimp meat in it. We appreciated the free dessert that came with our meal since we were celebrating a birthday! It was similar to a funfetti cheesecake. We also got their blueberry sorbet dessert which was delicious. We learned that everything is sourced from their own farm, and the quality of their ingredients definitely shined especially with this dessert course. Overall, we enjoyed our meal there and appreciated how the dining room was relatively quiet despite the seats being very tightly packed.

My first Michelin star restaurant and it was amazing. Had reservations for 10pm got there on time and was greeted and seated upon enter. Host was very friendly, the whole staff to be honest was great. Super friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was also lovely And chic. I started with a ginger beer and red snapper ceviche to die for... it was very fresh and flavorful. The star of the show the 1WS cheeseburger was chefs kiss. Juicy fresh the onions were a nice addition the white cheddar sealed the deal and the pretzel bun did its thing. One of the best burgers I've had definitely top 3. I highly recommend and I will be returning to explore the rest of the menu.

Excellent meal at a restaurant with fantastic chill vibe and great service. Had the 5 course tasting menu which had a nice mix of balanced flavors. Sauces were on point without being too heavy. Vegetables and proteins were all cooked and presented well. Overall, a pleasant experience!

Everything is sourced from their own farm, which made the experience feel extra special. I had been looking forward to this restaurant for months, but we ended up choosing the à la carte option instead of the tasting menu because we wanted the old menu so it wasn't quite what I had originally expected. The restaurant is set in a beautiful townhouse with three floors, each featuring different kitchens preparing distinct styles of food. The service was excellent, our waitress even took the time to walk me through all three levels and explain how everything works. My favorite dish of the night was probably the red snapper ceviche: fresh, bright, and full of flavor. Overall, we had a great time and appreciated the unique setup and warm hospitality.

This was by far the most disappointing Michelin experience of my life. My partner and I had a 9:00 PM reservation on Sunday, May 24th. I called ahead to let the restaurant know we were running a little late. They told me that if we arrived after 9:15, we wouldn't be seated. We got there before 9:10. The host greeted us with, "You have to order soon, our kitchen is closing." I felt so welcomed. After seating us, the server gave us the same warning. Then we sat there for 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order, which was strange considering how rushed they made it seem. I had already mentioned on the phone that we'd be doing the tasting menu. When the server finally came, we confirmed again that we wanted the tasting menu. They looked annoyed. Then came the food. It was nothing to write home about, and honestly, borderline insulting. The first course was just carrots with some bland cream at the bottom of the bowl. That was followed by a few more unmemorable dishes. Then the fish course arrived, and it had a very strong, fishy smell and no real flavor. But the worst part? A dry chicken breast as the main course. I was so unimpressed I didn't even bother to take a photo. Even the desserts where dry and disappointing, and you have to try pretty hard to disappoint me with a dessert. I don't know what happened that night. Maybe they ran out of ingredients and just threw something together? There's no way this is what they usually serve. Then there's the price. I usually don't complain about cost as I knew it was $180 per person when I booked. But when a restaurant charges that much, they're making a promise, to deliver great service, quality ingredients, and a memorable meal. They failed on every level.

Ambiance: I love the aesthetic of restaurant! It's small yet not overcrowded, catering the right number of guest in each dinning area. Modern finishes with elegance at the forefront. Service: wonderful team! Everyone was attentive but not overbearing. Very knowledgable of the ingredients and offered great suggestions on cocktails. Food: I part took in the tasting menu which was $168pp. The food was great overall, but I did think the portion sizes could be bigger. My friend left hungry and if I didn't have a big lunch I probably would have been too. Also I did think some dishes were a little heavy on the salt. My favorite on the tasting menu was the duck and scallop. Perfectly cook and packed with flavor.

Went to Zou Zou's for a little bday celebration with gfs and had a great time. Not to mention,…read morethere was such a sweet little bday care when we got to the table. So thoughtful, and such a great touch to start the evening for us. We decided to order the family style menu and we enjoyed the whole dinner. All of the dishes on the menu were really good and great price for $74pp. I wish we had a 4th in our party so we couldve had the duck, but we'll definitely be returning to do so. The dips were so good and so fresh! I think all of the dishes were perfectly seasoned. I get sad when dishes are overly seasoned or overly salty. Oh, and im not much of a sweet tooth, but their dessert was marvelous and the sweetness was balanced so nicely.

Walking in, it's a stunning restaurant and on this night, not too crowded which made us wonder why they would seat us next to the servers station away from dozens of much nicer tables. Note that I booked through Open Table where I have Gold status which I thought meant you get a better table. Next fail, we wanted to start with a Mediterranean dip, but they only offer that if you go with a $39 tray with multiple dips. Not something a party of two would be able to east, so we skipped apps altogether. Sucks too, because several tables had it and it liked amazing, just too much for two. For dinner I had the Yemeni Au Police Kebab, Filet Mignon which was absolutely delicious. The peppercorn Hawaii really sweetened the meat's flavor. So high marks for the steak. My wife had two small dishes which she wasn't as thrilled with, Grilled Artichokes which were too dry for her liking and Manti, which she liked. Main takeaways. Very pricey, beautiful atmosphere (if you get a nice table) and maybe a place that's better for a group than a couple.
