We grab a couple of pastries for breakfast at Persephone Bakery to go because we had a hectic…read moreschedule at Grand Teton National Park. The bakery is so cute with summer beach house vibe. I wish we had time to sit down and eat breakfast as I watch server coming out with yummy looking eggs breakfast plates. The display of pastries, cakes and cookies was overwhelming to say the least! I had a hard time to pick just 2 pastries! I wanted everything behind that glass petition. LOL. At the end, we got the ham and cheese croissant. Very flaky and hit the spot. I forgot the name of the scone - I think it was bacon, cranberry (maybe huckleberry) and pecan maybe? Holy crab, it was one of the best scone I ever tasted. It was huge because we kept munching on it for a while. It was savory with wonderful flavors. Most importantly it wasn't too dense but also not crumbly. Just the perfect scone if you're into scone like me. I wish I had gotten a piece of cake and/or cookie for the road. Highly recommended! Oh, I also love the name Persephone! It sticks!

I tried 3 other on menu variations and they were out of that as well. I settled for something basic and it was ok. My husbands coffee was pretty average. The prices are much higher than average. Service was ok but not super accommodating. They have a nice outdoor seating area, as a silver lining.

I actually loved the espresso so much that I came back later to buy a bag of beans to take home! Their pastries also looked amazing, although we didn't get the chance to try any this time. Most of the staff we interacted with were incredibly inviting, efficient, and friendly, which made the experience even better. The only interaction that felt a little less welcoming was when I came back to purchase the beans. The woman who checked me out wasn't particularly inviting, but honestly, everyone has long days, especially in customer service. I've worked in the coffee industry for years myself, so I completely understand and wouldn't let one interaction take away from an otherwise great experience. The establishment itself was clean, cozy, and such a vibe. There was plenty of seating when we visited, and it was a really nice place to sit for a bit and enjoy our coffee. Great atmosphere, genuinely good coffee, and espresso good enough that I wanted to bring it home with me.

Everything is very expensive and I found the food to be below average taste and quality. I got the breakfast sandwich and the bread seemed like your average hamburger bun. I barely tasted the cheese and onion. I got a matcha latte as well and it was just ok. They are packed and it takes a long time to get your food.

The location is just a block off the main square with the Wort Hotel just across the street and some art galleries which is a great place while roaming. I recommend if you are looking for a unique dessert with coffee! The French Dessert/patisserie has a variety of goods--not all shown. On the far left there is flavored chocolates (bonbons?) with a range of flavors (when I went) from Huckleberry + Vanilla, tea, etc. it looked like you had to buy a minimum box of 6 for 24$ but I could be incorrect on that. Next case had a variety of desserts, which is where the huckleberry chocolate out of (abt 9$). They do run out of pastries as the day goes on so something specific from yelp might not be in there. Next case has about 10 flavored of gelato. The following case has savory pastries like feta cheese-mushroom or ham croissants in addition to sweeter goods like croissants and cookies. There is indoor seating (about four two tops), a bench outside, and takeaway pastry or chocolate boxes if to go. When I walked in it was pretty crowded but the service was efficient. Luckily there was enough space for me to dine-in with a comfy spot against the wall. (Note: The other side of the table had soft and wide stools but with no back). (Note #2: When eating in you get ceramic plate + silverware with a plastic cup for cold drinks; there is a little station near the entrance for trash and plates). The chocolate-Huckleberry dessert was delicious. It had chocolate roses (with texture!!!) on top and a marbled silver-purple chocolate surrounding the cake and huckleberry filling. Very beautiful and I really enjoyed the sweet but also tart huckleberry with the chocolate. It was a bit of a mess to eat but I am more than okay with that! I would recommend it! I was able to get the feta-something-mushroom croissant warmed for lunch, which was pretty tasty. Nice flakiness and the middle with the filling was a nice mix. If you are stopping for lunch/breakfast and want something a little more substantial to your meal/snake then I recommend. They also had a ham-something-Jalapeño but I wasn't sure on how strong the pepper would be. Lastly, I had a matcha latte. It can come in a variety of sizes and I believe with the option of cold or hot. It was good-decent but not my favorite matcha-- the flavors were more milk heavy. But that is likely just my current preference--some places I have gone recently have it stronger and some have it sweeter; so take it as you will. It did have the nice crushable ice which I munched on with the concentrated matcha at the end though. As for the drink menu they had more non-coffee options like hot chocolate, turmeric latte, etc along with (what is maybe standard? coffees---don't drink them) like cappuccinos, mochas, etc. along with drip and affogatos.

Solid bagels and nice options to customize your sammies. Tasty, fresh and fast…read more I was hoping my bagel would have been toasted but apparently they don't have a toaster or microwave? At least that's what they told us when we asked if they could warm up a muffin we ordered. On the plus side, since they're making cold sandwiches with cold ingredients and not cooking anything, we got our food super fast despite how busy it was in there. No frills, casual spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Super fast for tourists on a time crunch to get to the airport or their daily activities.

The inside is not too big but enough spots for a group to sit if you get 2 tables, just keep a look out people come in and out pretty quickly. They were out of their Lox Bagel with actual salmon and we accidentally ordered the bagel with salmon but just in the cream cheese. Make sure to clarify when ordering this as we were confused and never heard of it before. The salmon cream didn't have a strong flavor, maybe the cream cheese was pretty overpowering. I did prefer the sandwiches over the cream cheese bagels. There is a thick layer of meat but not much sauce on either sandwich so I would recommend asking for either extra or on the side. The bagels itself were a little on the thicker side, they were toasted but not much as seen from the pictures. They were pretty doughy, not a personal favorite. The workers were nice and gave recommendations for favorites. They also were pretty fast so it didn't take long to go in and out.

The first day we each got our own scoop, pumpkin cheesecake and the huckleberry. They both were good but we agreed the huckleberry was so so good!! We did a hike in the Tetons the next day and treated ourselves to ice cream again after. This time we both just wanted huckleberry so we got 2 scoops in 1 cup which was about $4-5 cheaper than getting individual cups. We may stop by again tomorrow before we fly out because it's that good! There are a lot of seats indoors. They also sell chocolates and clothing merchandise.

Not sure how we would know to stand there if the sign was elsewhere. I completely understand the need for order when it's busy buuut there couldn't have been more than 5 people there. Their system leaves nowhere for customers to look at the ice cream before buying it because if you step up to the glass, the staff starts screaming. It was truly a bizarre experience :) I do recommend skipping this entirely and just going to Jackson Drug and ordering from the counter. Same ice cream, friendlier people (even though they were wayyy busier than Moo's). Edit // I see other people mentioned the rude staff as well. I should've looked here first!
