    Italian Chicken Melt Panini
    Hannah B.

Good, simple food made by nice people. I got the italian chicken panini and enjoyed it. The sandwich was a good size and filled me up without leaving me stuffed. I liked that they served it with a pickle. I will replace the sun dried tomatoes with fresh tomatoes if I remember to next time I go. Just personal preference.

It was too late but I got the chicken club and it was amazing!

This place was so good! I had to get a few sandwiches to go. Will definitely make it back over here.

This was a random find and well worth it. We were in a large vehicle and finding a place to pit stop was easy. Thankfully, they also have clean restrooms! They have a large selection of sandwiches and wraps to choose from. I enjoyed the veggie sandwich. Great for breakfast and lunch. Also, it's always nice to support small businesses with a family atmosphere.

Came in today and got the lunch combo! The inside had lots of seating and no wait to order. Service was efficient and helpful! And the sandwich was very good. Got the lunch combo which includes sandwich/chips/drink and it came out to $13 and change. Would recommend anyone looking for a yummy sandwich!

If you're in the mood for a filling & delicious sandwich than this is the spot for you! This little hidden gem is the real deal. They are flavorful and my sandwich is always perfect! They have desserts and sides that are very tasty too. Not only is the food delicious but the treatment of the customer is superb. Always feel welcomed when we come here .

A friend and I met here for lunch before a work meeting. It was our first time there. Luckily we got in just before the lunch rush at 12. The food was great! I swear, this was the best sandwich I've had since moving to AZ 3 years ago. The ambiance was just as expected for a cute lunch break sandwich shop. It got crowded quickly but we didn't feel rushed by it. Definitely will be a stop for me every time I have afternoon meetings at our main office moving forward. Also, get the cheesecake, it was so yummy!

Gimme a break, Gimme a break, Break me off a piece of that...pa-NI-NI bread? Lunch break is my quick fix when I'm in the office and the hanger starts to set in around 10:30-11:00ish. It's open early (7am) so I don't have to wait if I have skipped breakfast either. Now that's sweet. Especially when I'm super agitated and about to break someone off something proper-like, ya know?! Ha ha! It's mostly a sandwich joint, but they also serve breakfast and salads too. I've been all about their Reuben sandwich and their buffalo chicken wrap lately. Both are made to order, and if I ask for extra thousand island or sauce, they never seem to up-charge me, which is always appreciated! The folks that run this little business on Roeser Road are very sweet and you can tell it's a family operation. It's located just off the beaten path, but near enough to my office that I'm hardly missed when I have take a quick break. Overall, their portions are decent, it's clean and bright, and the food is fresh, so it's easy for me to feel good about supporting this establishment! Heck, I'll probably see you there on my next break!

I ended up getting the cinnamon roll and the pecan sticky bun and they were both spectacular! The cinnamon roll was one of the best I've had and I didn't even heat it up. The portions are also pretty large as I shared my 2 items with 4 people and we still didn't finish them. Service was great. They were nice about letting us take as much time as we needed to browse and once we were ready, it was really quick service. After you get your pastries boxed up, you can order a drink at the register. I just like black coffee and got a plain Brazilian cold brew which tasted like any other place but was still good. There's seating inside and outside. It wasn't too busy when I went on a Saturday around 12p. There were definitely plenty of seats left indoors and outdoors.

If you're in the area, JL Patisserie is definitely a spot you don't want to miss!

This time around, I tried the Maestro sandwich and the Little Jerry with a friend. Definitely prefer the Little Jerry's more cohesive bites of chicken and vodka sauce with the backend having pesto to pair. Wonderful taste and texture all throughout this sandwich. The Maestro was also great, but definitely gets a bit salty for me personally because of all the slices of assorted Italian cuts. When I started at ASU back in 2014, I discovered Ike's as I was exploring Mill Avenue. Since then, Ike's has been among my favorite places for sandwiches. Although it is no longer on the menu, my favorite sandwich is the Steph Curry One, which features turkey, provolone cheese, and yellow BBQ sauce. I found out that even if something is not on the menu, they can still make it for you if you remember the combination. Some other sandwiches I like are the Hunter Pence and the Steve Nash. The service is friendly, and they are more than happy to offer suggestions on what sandwich to choose, as they have an excellent selection of sandwiches. I also like the atmosphere. It is nice and colorful, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy your food. Ike's is also a great place to go if you need to eat on the run. Once, I had to take my sandwich to go. Upon ordering it, they had it ready with plenty of time to spare. I also like that they have a rewards program. I highly recommend Ike's Love and Sandwiches to anyone who is looking for a great sandwich on Mill Avenue.

Afterwards, he mentioned that he tasted it and agreed about our comments- I appreciate that level of attention. Shortly after, the food arrived. Spicy pork tacos for me, and BLTA for my wife. The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one.
