Tried this place out today as I left my lunch at home, and I was not disappointed! They have a fairly large menu with some veggie options (which I love) and it all sounds delicious, it was very hard to pick. Their coffee menu is also pretty solid AND they have smoothie options as well that you can even add whey protein to! The thing I love most about this place is the pricing and portions. With things getting more and more expensive each day, it's nice to pay $10 for a healthy lunch and feel full. Great portion size, great prices. The owner was also very friendly :) cannot recommend this place more and I'll definitely be back!! I got the veggie sandwich with potato salad, and a Greek salad for my co-worker (which she said was absolutely delicious). 12/10.

    Big breakfast burrito!

Found this place waiting for my car at Safelite down the road. They make all their breakfast burritos fresh to order! I don't care for eggs, so asked for the egg, Chorizo, potato and cheese burrito without eggs and with whatever veggies they had. It was sooo tasty! Big, fresh, bursting with flavor and a side of salsa. They have a nice little selection of hot sauces too. The people are super friendly and the coffee is decent. Nice shaded patio outside with a fountain. Nothing here but warehouses and offices, but that means it's quiet and there's plenty of parking.

Delicious, Fresh Food, Friendly and Fast Service, Nice, Clean, Order to go or dine in. Super sweet spot that you should definitely check out! I ordered the southwest chicken wrap with fruit and it was fresh, tasty and hit the spot! There is snacks and drinks to go and you can order ahead of time and pick it up when you arrive! Stop reading and go check it out for yourself:)!!

Went out of my way for this one and it was totally worth it…read more It's a bit hidden, but once you turn the corner it's a delightful find. It's a fantastic coffee shop designed with simplicity and producivity in mind - hosted in a gorgeous building with exposed brick and ceilings, which give it an industrial feel. My take on the space was it breathes this interesting balance of lingering, connection with others, and productivity. Almost every seat had a corresponding table, so that's a warm invitation to bring your devices in. There was a Ducati (!!!) parked right across from the coffee bar, which I later learned belongs to the owner just sharing his passion with the coffee community. Small detail, but it says something about the place. Definitely not a coffee shop trying to be a copy and paste chain. Menu had a few creative options I wouldn't mind coming back to try. They've also got their own merch line; the cups were also designed well enough that you'd actually want to keep one. There's street art right across from the shop worth a look if you've got a few minutes to spare. If you don't mind a short drive for a great cup and a space that actually feels lived in, this one delivers. PS - Parking can be tricky. It looks like there's ample space to park, but a lot of that is for Galvanize and the offices in the building. Towing trucks come over often, so heads up if you're going to park there. Don't get caught in the wrong spot.

So, when I walked into the building entrance with intentions to see an art exhibit & I was punched in the face with the intoxicating smell of coffee I HAD to try it, obviously. & they didn't disappoint. The person that took my order made some helpful & honest recommendations, which I appreciate! Considering I don't want to commit to an $8 coffee I'm not going to enjoy, no thanks. I ordered something off the seasonal menu...I think? To be honest I can't recall exactly what drink I ordered but it was iced & about $8 & I asked for light on the caramel. I had to be quick since I was meeting someone & we had limited time. Coffee came out pretty quick & it was a good choice! Great balance of flavor, not too sweet, coffee was smooth. Not too much ice either. I would definitely order again. The space was cool too, lots of natural light, lots of people working. It is located inside of a giant brick building shared with other spaces, parking is limited unless you have handicap parking then no worries there. They also have reserve spots for Coffee Drunk although limited. Or street parking. Now I'll definitely have to check out the LB location!!

The first time I ordered it unsweetened was accidental, but trying it without sweetener or flavor was what made me realize that their matcha may be the best I've ever had. I've also had their Mas matcha latte and it is also absolutely delicious and simple and still allows me to taste the matcha through the vanilla and sweetness. I've been to other places that serve Kettl matcha, but none have tasted nearly as rich as Futuro's. The atmosphere itself is true to its name. It is futuristic, simple, and beautiful. It is full of unique art pieces of all types, and they sell their coffees and teas as well. I feel at peace inside and they always have vibey music playing at a perfect volume and incense lit. The service itself is one of a kind and makes me feel like I'm at a 5-star restaurant. They bring your items out on a beautiful tray and will always serve your drink with a cup of water on the side if you order it for here. They will even package your food up for you, which I would never expect from a coffee shop. It can be busy at times with a bit of a wait because the drinks are all made one at a time, but it's always worth the wait. The place isn't very big but has plenty of seating given the space. For working from home, they do have wifi but limited outlets. Their pastries served from a local bakery are also delicious.

I was heading back to Houston after work in Tucson, running on fumes and travel adrenaline. A little context helps here: I had given up coffee for Lent and was definitely feeling the withdrawal. A couple nights earlier I'd only gotten about 2.5 hours of sleep. Add travel and work to that mix, and let's just say I was running on pure determination. So in I walk into The Refuge Coffee, Food, & Wine looking for something to revive me. Almost immediately, my energy caught the attention of team members Destiny and Tiffany, and the back-and-forth banter that followed was genuinely fun. Their wit, humor, and hospitality turned what could have been just another airport stop into a memorable moment of connection. I ordered a chai latte, which was excellent, and took a much-needed pause before continuing my journey. It's rare for an airport spot to feel warm, personal, and welcoming, but this one delivered. I don't know when or if I'll pass through Phoenix Airport again, but if I do, I'll absolutely be stopping by The Refuge.

Apparently the shop sources coffees and teas from local businesses. For example, coffees = Infusion Coffee Roasters in Tempe, loose leaf teas and chai = Maya Tea Company in Tucson, kombucha = Milly Moon Kombucha in Phoenix, and breakfast burritos = Lua Lua Catering. [Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. [Menu]: Apparently Matcha Latte is one of the more popular drinks here. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink. The drink also came with a paper straw. *** A great spot for a casual 1st date due to great vibe, but matcha latte just didn't hit the spot.

I visited for the first time on a Sunday afternoon, just missing the late morning rush, so I had ample options to choose from regarding seating (there's couches, tables, stools)! As a first-timer who loves specialty coffees, I inquired about which drink might be the sweetest and best suited to my tastes, and through shared decision-making, we decided on the Azucar Morena!
