This is a little hole in the wall spot that operates with limited hours. The place is small so you might need to have your order to go during peak lunch times. Food is made to order so everything is served hot. We got a backyard burger and OK burger with fries. Backyard Burger- This comes with cheese,ketchup, mustard, pickles, and onion, though I opted to hold the last one. Patty is squashed thin with a lovely crisp edge. Bun is soft. Cheese is gooey and melty. OK Burger- This comes with house sauce, pickles, grilled onions, and cheese. I cannot get over how good their smashed burger patties are. Fries- Served crisp in a cute chinese to go box. Pairs wonderfully with the burgers. Great experience overall!

Easily one of my favorite burgers in the area. 2. Fries - $4 | 8/10 Solid fries. Nothing too fancy, but they paired really well with the burger. 3. Bulgogi Bibimbap - $12 | 7/10 It was decent, but nothing that stood out. The seasoning was good, but compared to the burger, it just wasn't as memorable. Overall, I'd come back for the burger every time. If you're in the area and craving a quality smash burger at a great price, this spot is an easy recommendation.
Pretty solid smash burger, it's up there in my top 3 for OC smash burger spots. The patties were smashed and cooked well, had the crispy bits on the side, which I was hoping for. The bun they use is so pillowy, might be one of the best buns I've tried on any burger. The fries are really good here, not sure what tire seasoning is but it's worth. The prices here are really good compared to other spots. The employees are very friendly and the ambiance of the place is quite literally hole in the wall. Parking is pretty chill as there is plenty of spots. Not too much seating inside so you may have to wait for a seat if it's busy. Do be aware that it does get really hot inside the restaurant, not sure if there's a ventilation issue. This place is worth checking out.

Plenty of parking in the plaza, but this place gets busy, and there is only like five tables. The service was amazing, the folks were nice and the only tough thing my kids had a hard time with was it was pretty hot inside the restaurant. I love that the menu is super simple, and the burgers reminded me of a smash burger, the patty was thin with tons of flavors, and the buns they serve were super soft and light. I saw many folks waiting in line to eat there, but also many order and leave. There was always a constant rush of customers. We had the OK and California burgers, their fries were so crunchy and tasted so good!
Lunch Bang is a small hole in the wall lunch spot. They are located in a small strip mall with plenty of parking available. They are open from 10:00am to 3:30pm and closed on Sunday. The interior is very unassuming, and almost seems like a pop-up in a vacant space. It is very raw but clean, and has five small tables inside. I arrived around 10:50am on a Friday morning. There was only one other person eating inside, but within 20 minutes it was packed with people waiting for their orders and hoping for a table to become available. They have a big screen TV mounted on the wall which was playing a World Cup soccer match. It was a cool vibe that everybody was reacting to the game while eating. The menu is very simple with only three burgers and three Korean options. Everything was surprisingly inexpensive. I got a good first impression when I walked up to the counter to order. Doug at the register made a comment about the Top Gun hat I was wearing, which led to some fun conversation. Since it wasn't busy yet, we ended up chatting for several minutes, and he was very friendly. I ordered the Backyard Burger with two patties ($8) and an order of fries ($4). Everything is made fresh to order. There is a cooler against the wall with refrigerated beverages available. My order was ready in about five minutes. When I picked up my order from the counter, I was offered complimentary chilis which I happily accepted. I opened the container and the patties completely fill the inside. The bun was toasted and very soft and fresh. The patties had a great char on them, and the burger was very flavorful with cheese, onions, pickles, mustard, and ketchup inside. This was probably the best smash burger I've ever had. The fries are medium cut and are a generous serving size. They are cooked in beef tallow and had great flavor. The peppers were pretty hot. I was really impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. It tastes even better when it is so inexpensive. This meal was only $13 including tax. This is a place I would definitely return to. I'd recommend coming before or after prime lunch time to avoid the crowd. Five stars all the way, just ignore the very raw interior.
An unmarked, literal hole-in-the-wall, Lunch Bang is like some underground operation. The speakeasy of smash burgers and bibimbap which is a random combo, but it's a banging one! The $9 OK double smash Burger was the business! They smashed that patty real, real good... completely obliterated-like. It created the crispiest edges with grilled onions sloppily thrown on top and the secret sauce to really light it up your taste buds. The grease dripping down, mixed in with more of that secret sauce makes for one vivid, sloppy memory. Just about one of the best smashes I've had alongside a $12 Bulgogi bibimbap (skanky much?). The ingredients in the bibimbap recycle the hamburger ground beef but it has all the fixings. To be honest, the recycled meat seems pretty on-brand to me. A SPECIAL, special cheap meal is to be had at Lunch Bang.

Both were really well executed -- crispy edges on the smash patty, soft bun, generous toppings, and high quality ingredients throughout. You can get a single or double patty which is a nice option depending on how hungry you are. The fries are a standout too -- seemed to be cooked in beef tallow which gives them an extra savory flavor, and the texture leans limpy which I personally really liked. Variety of options for food as well with Korean dishes. Friendly cashier and a solid casual spot overall. Can't wait to come back!

This spot is quietly putting out one of the better smash burgers in Orange County, and it's doing it without the pretension or the price tag that usually comes with "elevated" burger joints. The burger itself hits exactly how a smash burger should thin, crispy edged patty, great crust from the griddle, and flavor that doesn't rely on a mountain of toppings to carry it. It's light enough that you don't feel weighed down after eating, which honestly sets it apart. The price is one of the most pleasant surprises. For what you're getting quality ingredients, real technique, a burger that actually tastes like someone cared it's genuinely affordable. No sticker shock, no "is this really worth it?"
One of my students said his friend opened this place and I was close by so made a visit. They don't have a really big menu which made it easy to select. I went with the bulgogi bowl, which was rice, bulgogi, fried egg (cooked to your liking), lettuce, and pickled cucumbers. The meat was very tasty and yummy. The lettuce gives the meal a nice crunch with the cucumbers giving it a nice freshness. All is all, would definitely be back when in the area.
Had a single patty California burger, and enjoyed it immensely. Lacy thin patty with maillard to the max. A ton of flavor from such a small amount of meat. Withe the lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and cheese, it was very balanced on that soft potato bun. 5/5 Fries: ate several but wasn't really a fan. They aren't fried the traditional way, frying once, letting rest, and frying again. These fries still had the bite of the potato. 2/5 Small space, small menu, great burgers.
Hidden gem spot. Great service and amazing food. Place is super small and most people get it to go. The burgers are super good and fresh. It is a smash burger place. Got the OK burger and my biggest regret is I didn't get a double. Bread is super fluffy and light and the seasoning is perfect.
The location isn't anything special and the inside isn't anything fancy, but they do have some tasty burgers. I got their double smash burger with all the fixings with fries. If you go during lunch time, do expect a little bit of a wait. They make things fresh! The burger itself was very tasty. I always love me a good smash burger! Where I'll knock off a star is their fries. It was good, but a tad over salted. I couldn't finish the fries because of how salty it was. I'll probably ask for no salt next time. A very limited menu with 3 burgers and 3 Korean rice bowls! Definitely recommend their smash burgers! It's quite possibly one of the best I have had! The three burgers have very subtitle differences! The backyard burger and OK burgers only difference is the ketchup and mustard and the diced onions or grilled onions. I recommend the double smash California burger! It comes with lettuce and tomatoes! Burgers were just so flavorful and the buns were soft and a little milk bun like.
I've been on a smash burger frenzy lately. Located in an unsuspecting strip mall, this place is serving up some bomb smash burgers. There isn't a lot of tables but it seems like people eat pretty quick and leave just as fast. The restaurant is pretty basic inside, a few tables and then the kitchen in the back. The guy taking the order was friendly and the food came out relatively quickly. We ordered the single and double OK burgers with fries. I overheard the people working there saying that the fries are fried in beef tallow? Awesome. I should have ordered a side of kimchi to add it to my burger (excuse me but I am Korean, LOL). Everything was fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection. And the prices are reasonable, especially in this economy! This is easily one of my favorite smash burger joints. read more

A true find. On a work trip and was looking for a local place for lunch. It was surprisingly affordable, made to order, and tasty. Got the California smash burger with a side of fries and secret sauce. If you're really not hungry, the single is fine but if you're looking for a bit more protein, splurge for the double. I think the single has less meat compared to in an out. The salt was a little too salty but it paired well with the secret sauce. The storefront had limited seating and was a bit hot but otherwise, a very cute location. Their merch was adorable as well. It gave Waffle House vibes. Would go back again if in the area! read more

omg yum! I've been seeing this place all over instagram for a while and have had it saved and so glad I finally tried it for lunch! In a quiet unassuming plaza, I wasn't sure I was at the right place at first. The fries are hand made and such a big and deliciously fresh portion! Love how they are served in a Chinese take out box. Came back recently during lunch and the burgers are still bomb and consistent. Still worth the price too. It was pretty busy that day, but we were able to get a seat. This time I got their California Burger which is basically a burger with lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. My friend got their OG smash burger with fries and also beef bibimbap. Will come back again. Just wished it was closer to HB. read more
Amazing. 10/10 I love a good smash burger and this one is GOOD. Made to order and totally worth the wait even when it's busy. Not dry whatsoever and still has the right amount of juiciness to it for being smashed. Fries were fried perfectly, were plentiful, and I love that it's in a Chinese takeout box, super cute. Limited amounting of seating but love that they have a bunch of stools/chairs off to the side so that you can grab from. Can totally see why this place is popular, even saw a lot of people in various work uniforms having lunch here. Lunch with a bang! This place is tucked into a discreet plaza surrounded by mechanic shops in an industrial area. We came around 1 pm on a Thursday and it was poppin'. Every table was taken and people were waiting off to the side for their orders. We also had to wait a few minutes just to order at the counter. It is very casual, with mismatched stools and chairs, but it fits the aesthetic. We were lucky to grab a table, but the wait for food was pretty long being over 40 minutes. It seemed like we hit the peak lunch rush because the crowd started to clear out by the time our order was called. I ordered the OK smash burger with fries. Wow, it was delicious! The bun was soft and fresh, and the creamy secret sauce balanced out the richness without feeling heavy. The meat tasted high quality. The patty had a great crust on the outside while still being juicy, and it was not too thin. It was a good contrast to the sweet grilled onions and pickles inside. We shared an order of fries, which were light and crisp. A tad salty. They came in a Chinese takeout box, which was a nice touch. They reminded me of Five Guys fries but with a better texture and flavor. I really enjoyed my lunch and would come back. Next time I would probably go later in the afternoon (after 2:30pm) to avoid the lunch rush. read more

This place has a decent burger, but it's not the end-all that the IG influencers make it out to be. When we went, the restaurant itself was super hot and the wait was very long. The burger itself was cooked pretty well, but it was pretty salty. Their fries are not bad, but there are better options in the area. Overall, if you're looking for a decent burger and it's not lunch hour, this is a good spot, otherwise you're better off elsewhere. read more

Was excited to come here after hearing about this spot and having bookmarked it for a while. Prices are relatively affordable and fair. I got the OKC double smash burger and a side of fries for around $13. Service was very friendly and the burger was great, I'd happily go back to grab another if I'm in the area. My only complaint would be the fries, which I found unbearably salty, to the point where I just couldn't eat them, and I usually prefer things on the salty side too. I probably just got an off order though and would be willing to try them again. read more

That was a fantastic Hamburger. Now I know why Santa Anna is talking about this place. The fries may be cooked in Beef Tallow. Not sure, but they seem hand cut onsite and has that Allow crisp. Burger was Juicy and worth the Hype. Also tried the Beef Bulgogi with Rice and good Lawd that was good too. It was even good the next day when I took it to work for Lunch. Prices are more than reasonable and for what I got I would call I a deal. Appearance be damned, keep that in mind. If you are a cautious person and don't do well in different Neighborhoods, Cultures and Office Parks, still go. Just get the Food to go and have Louise behind the Wheel ready to make a Getaway. Personally, I understand my Assignments and I'm already planning on going back this week. The Neighborhood is fine and I been to worse in other cities. Especially Vegas. The things I'll do for Wings! It was so good, got the OK burger and it had cheese, pickles, grilled onions and special sauce, it was just perfect so juicy so amazing. Let's talk the fries! AMAZING, fresh made salty crispy fresh I mean tasted like a boardwalk fry from the east coast. Game changer! My GF and I found out about Lunch Bang on Tiktok, as we do most of our eats, did a quick check on yelp, and decided to stop by right around 11:45 on a Saturday morning. This spot is your definition of a whole in the wall joint. Their menu is very simple and small, 3 smash burger options, single or double, 3 Korean dishes and fries. We got their Backyard Burger and California burger and 2 sets of fries. My goodness, it was delicious. It was smashed to perfection. Their fries are so good too! The best part about this place is that it is very affordable, actually, more affordable than any other burger joint or fast food joint, and you get a good sized burger and a lot of fries. They have a few assorted canned drinks in which I picked out Cactus Cooler! My gosh, I haven't had that since I was in high school! The place is a bit run down, but I think it fits the vibe of the "whole in the wall" joint. There are only a few tables, but it's definitely a meal you can easily quickly or just outside or in your car. There is plenty of parking. Based on the Tiktok and yelp, I think this place will soon be more and more crowded so definitely come early! By the time we finished around 1, the place was starting to fill up. Their hours are specific too, only from 10am to 3 pm! I wish this place was open at night as this would be a frequent place to eat at night, but keeping those 11-3 hours makes this place unique and keeps the hype up. We 100% will be coming back. absolutely life changing. My friend and I came in around 12:30 on Monday and there were a few people eating in the restaurant but we got our food within 10 minutes. All the hype surrounding this place is so well deserved. We got the OK burger as a double, the backyard burger as a single, and fries oh my gosh the first bite was worth driving through the rain for. Not only are the prices unbeatable, the buns were so soft, patty had a crispy lattice, and there was so much flavor. I will 100% be back and bring more friends. My biggest pregnancy craving has been burgers, especially smash burgers, and this place did not disappoint. I stopped by on a Saturday for lunch and there was ample parking in this business center. There was a small amount of seating inside, maybe 4 tables. Got the double patty backyard burger, California burger, and two fries (definitely could have just ordered one). Our food came out promptly and it looked so good! My toddler son and I loved the backyard burger. The buns were soft and the meat had nice flavor with a touch of crispness to it -- the perfect smash burger. The fries were freshly hand cut and fried to perfection. This is my first time here so I gave it four stars just because I haven't tried the whole menu yet. The place is small and simple. I ordered the OK burger with fries and a drink. It was pretty good. I'll be back to try more, but I thought the burger was a little bit greasy. I'm not sure if that was grease or just cheesy.. I did eat the whole thing so it was good. I had a bulgogi bibimbap and it was amazing! The bulgogi was well seasoned and paired well with the garnish. The bowl comes with some spicy pickles, veggies, and I added a side of kimchi which is perfection! The space is casual and clean. You order and pay at the counter. Tried the infamous LB smash burger--"OK" is an understatement. Very, very good. Thin patties with crispy edges, solid flavor, soft bun. Exactly what you want from a smash burger. The fries deserve a callout: great, fresh, lightly oiled, and crisp. They come in an old-school Chinese takeout box, which actually works perfectly if you don't finish them--and it totally fools my family when they think they're stealing my leftovers. This is a true mom-and-pop operation. Finding it is part of the experience: a small sign that just says "Sandwiches & Oriental Food" above the address, plus some temporary-looking lettering in the window. So... we still say "oriental" (grandma word). lol Minimalism at its extreme. Zero atmosphere. Old industrial spot tucked behind a weed shop, bare walls, unpainted, exposed ceiling vents, a few mismatched tables and chairs tossed in. Inside it's just four or five people behind the counter cranking out good-tasting food. It was packed when I went--standing room only, hovering for a seat--but no one seemed to mind. The food carries the place. If you're coming for vibes, keep driving. If you're coming for a really good smash burger, this place delivers. read more
I'm glad I discovered this lunch option nearby. This small shop is located amongst other small businesses. Parking is not that abundant, but many people come and go quickly in this area. When we arrived in the middle of the lunch hour on a weekday, there were maybe one or two people in front of us before we were able to place our order. Since it was my first time, I wanted to try a burger and their rice beef bowl. The bowl also comes with an egg and prepared per your request. The menu was short and sweet. The dining area is small with maybe five tables. The customers appeared to be a combination of people who work nearby who dined in or came to pick up takeout orders. and also friends and family that dined in. We took our order to go and I had to try the fries while in the car. They didn't seem like frozen fries, but hopefully fresh and they're the kind with the peel on. They were generously salted, which wasn't bad. As for the burger, the patty was crispy on the outside and well seasoned and juicy. We all enjoyed the burgers that we ordered. For the beef bulgogi bowl, all of the ingredients were simple, including a few pieces of sliced spicy pickled cucumbers. My favorite today was definitely the Smashburger and we definitely will return. read more
Wow... my new fav burger for the moment.. i'm so pleasantly surprised.. I got the California burger which is so bomb and ideal if you love that classic backyard bbq burger flavor with a smashed burger twist. Soooo good. Not too greasy and the sauce is just the perfect touch. The double smashed is definitely the classic smashed burger flavor. Not as greasy as some other places but still good and even though we had ours delivered the patty edges were still crispy! Now the fries!! I was very surprised by how good they are. Didn't expect them to be this good but they are. Get them!!! Will def be coming back often. read more
Lunch Bang makes what smash burgers should be. Crispy, super thin, and overall an addicting burger. I got the backyard burger and the sauces made it taste like a McDonald's burger so it's definitely worth the extra $1 to get the OK Burger. The onions and the sauce take it to the next level, and I don't think I'd do the backyard burger again. The patties are crisp and thin, so getting a double would be perfect. The fries taste fresh and is a perfect amount to split with someone There's about 5 tables inside and it gave school cafeteria aesthetic! read more
I would go here everyday if I could! So yums. Easily one of my favorite smash burger spots. The burgers are super flavorful without it being too heavy. Just cooked perfectly to me! The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The spam musubi was okay, it was a bit dry. The service was super friendly and quick, and the vibe inside just felt very relaxed and comforting. read more
