A very limited menu with 3 burgers and 3 Korean rice bowls! Definitely recommend their smash burgers! It's quite possibly one of the best I have had! The three burgers have very subtitle differences! The backyard burger and OK burgers only difference is the ketchup and mustard and the diced onions or grilled onions. I recommend the double smash California burger! This place is nothing to look at and their logo reminds me of Breaking Bad. It's in a part of town that feels a little sketchy during the daytime, and most people visiting the area never get anywhere near this place. And...if I was taking someone around Orange county, this would be a hard place not to stop because the burgers are the kind you dream about. They are perfect. Not dry whatsoever and still has the right amount of juiciness to it for being smashed. Fries were fried perfectly, were plentiful, and I love that it's in a Chinese takeout box, super cute. Lunch with a bang! This place is tucked into a discreet plaza surrounded by mechanic shops in an industrial area. We came around 1 pm on a Thursday and it was poppin'. Every table was taken and people were waiting off to the side for their orders. We also had to wait a few minutes just to order at the counter. It is very casual, with mismatched stools and chairs, but it fits the aesthetic. We were lucky to grab a table, but the wait for food was pretty long being over 40 minutes. It seemed like we hit the peak lunch rush because the crowd started to clear out by the time our order was called. I ordered the OK smash burger with fries. Wow, it was delicious! The bun was soft and fresh, and the creamy secret sauce balanced out the richness without feeling heavy. The meat tasted high quality. The patty had a great crust on the outside while still being juicy, and it was not too thin. It was a good contrast to the sweet grilled onions and pickles inside. We shared an order of fries, which were light and crisp. A tad salty. They came in a Chinese takeout box, which was a nice touch. They reminded me of Five Guys fries but with a better texture and flavor. I really enjoyed my lunch and would come back. My GF and I found out about Lunch Bang on Tiktok, as we do most of our eats, did a quick check on yelp, and decided to stop by right around 11:45 on a Saturday morning. This spot is your definition of a whole in the wall joint. Their menu is very simple and small, 3 smash burger options, single or double, 3 Korean dishes and fries. We got their Backyard Burger and California burger and 2 sets of fries. My goodness, it was delicious. It was smashed to perfection. Their fries are so good too! The best part about this place is that it is very affordable, actually, more affordable than any other burger joint or fast food joint, and you get a good sized burger and a lot of fries. They have a few assorted canned drinks in which I picked out Cactus Cooler! My gosh, I haven't had that since I was in high school! The place is a bit run down, but I think it fits the vibe of the "whole in the wall" joint. There are only a few tables, but it's definitely a meal you can easily quickly or just outside or in your car. There is plenty of parking. Based on the Tiktok and yelp, I think this place will soon be more and more crowded so definitely come early! By the time we finished around 1, the place was starting to fill up. Their hours are specific too, only from 10am to 3 pm! I wish this place was open at night as this would be a frequent place to eat at night, but keeping those 11-3 hours makes this place unique and keeps the hype up. We 100% will be coming back. I got the California burger which is so bomb and ideal if you love that classic backyard bbq burger flavor with a smashed burger twist. Soooo good. Not too greasy and the sauce is just the perfect touch. The double smashed is definitely the classic smashed burger flavor. I'm glad I discovered this lunch option nearby. This small shop is located amongst other small businesses. Parking is not that abundant, but many people come and go quickly in this area. When we arrived in the middle of the lunch hour on a weekday, there were maybe one or two people in front of us before we were able to place our order. Since it was my first time, I wanted to try a burger and their rice beef bowl. The bowl also comes with an egg and prepared per your request. The menu was short and sweet. The dining area is small with maybe five tables. The customers appeared to be a combination of people who work nearby who dined in or came to pick up takeout orders. and also friends and family that dined in. We took our order to go and I had to try the fries while in the car. They didn't seem like frozen fries, but hopefully fresh and they're the kind with the peel on. They were generously salted, which wasn't bad. As for the burger, the patty was crispy on the outside and well seasoned and juicy. We all enjoyed the burgers that we ordered. For the beef bulgogi bowl, all of the ingredients were simple, including a few pieces of sliced spicy pickled cucumbers. Lunch Bang is a true hole in the wall. It has a small menu, a small parking lot, but is BIG on flavor. The California burger is the best smash burger I've had in Orange County. The flavor is amazing. Discretely hidden in plain sight in a complex along Grand Avenue, inside a smaller dining space, you get two primary choices - rice bowls or burgers. And both deliver. For the burgers, you've got perfectly laced, razor thin smash burgers oozing with flavor. The OK Burger was simple but delicious with grilled onions, sauce, pickles and cheese. And the California Burger, swapping grilled for diced onions and adding lettuce and tomato was heartier with added texture and also a smash hit :) at the table. The bulgogi bimbimbap was also very simple - lettuce, minced bulgogi style ground beef, egg, and spicy pickled cucumber. And yet, the fragant flavors of sesame oil and mild pepper along with perfectly cooked rice made my taste buds dance. Another banger. And of course, the fries. These long, medium thick, freshly fried and perfectly salted beauties was yet another highlight. Don't forget to try their secret sauce, which was fantastic. First off, Lunch Bang is located in a more industrial location. Follow your GPS, it is taking you to the right location. There are parking spots right up front. I arrived at 10 AM when they open! I ordered a couple of items, I got two burgers, the okay burger and the California burger, fries, and a bulgogi bowl. You can order your burgers in single or double patties. There might be a wait. I did see that they were taking phone orders so that might make the wait longer. I thought the burger was really good. I liked the bun the burger came on. It was nice and soft. I thought the burger was overly sauced. I'm not sure if its the way it is or just the day I went. The meat patty was cooked and season well. I like that it wasn't wildly smash. The bulgogi bowl was filled with meat. It was more meat than rice ratio. The bulgogi was more on the fatty side so I wish there was more rice to counter it. However, I do appreciate that they gave more meat. The fries were a mixture of soft and crispy pieces. I love that they load it in a to-go box.
