Received a signature pedicure and classic manicure. While the spa treatment was great, the nail portion was sub-par. For my feet, the technician clipped too much of my skin along my big toe to the point of bleeding. I got a french pedicure, and had short service there despite having gone in under an appointment. The french wasn't even and only one top coat was applied, and my technician quickly dipped off to help another customer. While me toes were being finished, my hands began to be worked on within the chair, distracting from me being allowed to monitor my french as I was also trying to monitor the filing of my fingers. Overall, I will look for a new salon that pays attention to the clients nail preferences and isn't in a hurry to rush to the next customer, especially as I had an appointment going in. I had to go home and apply my own second top coat to my pedicure. read more

Went to Luna for the first time to get a pedicure for my upcoming wedding and am not happy with the results. The lady (Tina I think) who performed my pedicure pulled on my skin after she accidentally cut it too short next to my toe and didn't stop pulling until it came off. 3 hours later it became swollen and now two days later it is still swollen and has drainage. Photo was 24 hours after the pedicure was completed. I called afterwards to explain the situation and the receptionist hung up on me!! Two star review because the facility is beautiful and my sister got a manicure the same day as I went in and hers actually looks good. read more

I started coming here when they first opened and i loved it but it has seriously taken a turn. The last few times it has just gotten worse and worse but i decided to go back because i had a gift card there. I got a deluxe pedicure and got some gems on my toes so extra $7 charge... it was $67. Not to mention there was shellac all over my foot when she was done. Then i also got a full set. The girl that did my nails first put the tips on crooked, then when i asked her to fix them she said she would fix it when she applied the gel, obviously not true. Then things were kinda going fine and i showed her a simple yin Yang design for 2 of the nails and asked if she was comfortable doing that and she said yes. When she started doing the shellac she was putting THICK layers on and it was pooling everywhere and i had to ask her to clean it up before i cured them. Then when she started on the design she was having such a hard time i told her to just paint it solid color and not do the design and she said "no i can do it I'm going to get it" and then i felt bad and had been there for so long i just let her finish.. then at the end after she did the clear coat she tried to clean up the pooling on some of the nails and it chipped off a whole chunk of polish and she just filled it in with the color polish and had me cure it again. Then i paid $137 for all of this mess these nails are so embarrassing. I've been there many of times and the owner/main guy looked at my nails when i was checking out and i know he could tell i wasn't happy. I've complained about my nails before though and was written off so i didn't even bother. Will never come here again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! There are better salons! They advertise $42 for a 35 min pedicure. I walked in at 11:58 and I was paying at 12:18 (my husband was done at 12:11 waiting for me.. I would post pictures, but... embarassing... my nail polish is smudged, two toes are bleeding, and I'm currently in route to another salon to get a real pedicure. They look at you as dollar signs $$$$ and their quality is GARBAGE...we still paid full price for 1 or 2 pedicures, still unsure for what though?... as he should have let us walk out and cut his losses to save face a little... I came here pre-covid because the Yelp reviews were decent and a ton of my friends on social media have been posting about this place. When I entered, my friend and I were greeted immediately by a friendly male. Possibly the manager of the place. We were asked to fill out a form of what services we wanted (and also drinks). Then, we picked out nail polish colors and were seated. Everything was great up until after this point. After being seated, a lady from the back came up to me and started to do a manicure. I said "hi" and she looked at me up and down and then said "hi". She hardly said a word to me otherwise. The vibes felt kind of awkward, but just whatever. It's okay if people aren't talkative, not super friendly, or having a bad day. It happens, I get it. However, while sitting in silence, there was a point in our nail session where she was using an electric nail filer and it started to pinch the skin surrounding my nails. She pressed down very hard while using it. I started to bleed from that because it had scraped my surrounding skin that much, and when I retracted my hands a bit cause it was painful, the lady blamed it on "how [my] hands are" and that I'm being "sensitive". To be honest, I have a high pain tolerance. I take pretty good care of my hands. My hands don't have dry skin, no calluses, I don't bite my nails off or surrounding skin, I don't have extra pieces of skin or around my nails or hangnails needing to be cut or anything, but not sure how this was my fault. I understand if maybe I bled from cleaning up my cuticles... but I was actually bleeding from how much pressure she applied with the nail filer ON MY SKIN, NOT SO MUCH NAILS. Not only was I bleeding on 4 different fingers on the same hand, but I also told her it hurt. She continued to say stuff about how it's just how my hands are, and then started to speak Vietnamese to her friends working on other clients nearby the whole time, not saying another word to me for the rest of our session. Idk girl, I've gotten my nails done many times before, and my experience has never been like that. She did proceed to file my nails more, with a SLIGHTLY lighter pressure (still pretty hard though) after I told her it was hurting. I know I should have probably said something more when several of my fingers started bleeding and maybe escalated this to the manager, but I'm not that kind of person especially when it was my very first time at this salon and dynamics of the work environment there. Not sure if the lady still works there, but it was definitely an off putting experience and I have not been back since. I got a basic short almond shaped dip powder nails and ended up paying ~$100 afterwards for the manicure. From what I remember, they also automatically charged tip lol. I wish I took pictures at the time.. but I do think about my negative experience a lot when I drive by the area. I really wanted to like here, but it was disappointing. My friend I came with had a better experience than me and had a different nail lady though, so I guess come with caution if you're gonna try this place out for the first time. read more

I am very upset with my nail set. I came around 12 asking for a full and pedicure. I wasn't even able to finish writing down. What exactly I want it done I felt rushed. My feet came out perfect and wonderful, but when it came down to my fingers. I got a full set, I asked for square nails I got some coffin some square I asked for a French tip. I gave her a picture of exactly I wanted. She took a look at it. I kept asking her to please fix the French because it wasn't what I wanted she just kept handing more white. I contacted them through Yelp for a luxury manicure and deluxe pedicure appointment, they responded quickly -- and once I arrived, got me in right on time. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. I have come here for powdered dip and shellac nails on several occasions and I have yet to leave feeling great about anything from the customer service to the look/ quality of my nails. I was particularly annoyed the last time I went in - I asked for a pedicure and a powdered dip manicure. As i was getting my pedicure, the nail tech had me essentially take off my own powder dip as if she were in too much of a rush to complete both services in a timely manner. If i'm going to do a fraction of the work myself, I would've preferred to save the $80 and just finish the job all the way through... The salon itself is flashy but every other aspect is definitely lacking to some degree. I think my last visit was just that... my last visit. read more

I have been going here for the last year or so off and on. I haven't found anyone I LOVE in particular, but I also haven't been severely disappointed with anyone yet. So I just call ahead and take whoever they have available. I have only been pretty let down by one lady in particular, but didn't want to write a review on her until I had had her Atleast twice to give her a fair shot. Well, the other day I had Tracy do my full set of acrylics with shellac for I believe the 3rd time over all. And I am beyond frustrated! Down around the edges where the acrylic should meet your cuticles, and be nice and gradual, it is all of a sudden just cut off.. all around the "U" shape. This is the third time I have come home and had to file it down myself instantly! Which is super frustrating, because if the nail breaks or the shellac peels off before my usual 2 week revisit, they will charge me to fix it... Now, I'm not the most vocal about when something like this happens because I just pay my bull, tip, and go... because I don't want to hurt their feelings, maybe it was an off day, or somehow my fault... but at this point, I'd say it's pretty clear that with probably a total of Atleast 10 people I have had do my nails there, she is the only one who just completely s the bed through and through. . I'm very frustrated with her in particular, but no one else's service or job done had really warranted a 4 or 5 star either.. always something mildly wrong/crooked/breaks easily/they "burn" or cut something/rushed/too thick/just always something! I've never left here over satisfied! And I've always tipped well! That's what's just so frustrating to me! I thought if I show I'll tip well, they will do better next time.. nope. Sad read more

This place was definitely nice but they did not use any new nail files. I have never been to a nail salon where they didn't use brand new nail files and even asked if you wanted to take it home. The files and buffers were all very used with other people's nail dust all over it. And the electric buffer didn't looked like it had been sanitized. My nails turned out fine but I did a simple sns dip on my natural nails. So for the fact that they use dirty, used on many other people files, I won't be going back. read more

I'm very disappointed by our experience with Luna Nail Lounge. It had been recommended to me by a long time customer. It appears to be clean, well organized and friendly. Our appointment was for shellac gel manicure. Within five minutes the the technician had cut my daughter's cuticles and she started bleeding. The tech and manager wanted to proceed as normal and even put alcohol on my daughters finger to clean it. They offered her some glue for her cut. We decided to leave immediately and did not get her manicure. They were friendly enough and apologetic but I cannot give them a good review because they caused an injury. Over all had a great experience at Luna today. The salon is very clean and updated. (Not tacky like most). I like the wide range of polish colors they have. I saw a few colors I had a hard time finding in other salons so I'm confident I will always find what I want here. Based on reading reviews before coming, I requested Bon to be my nail tech for my appointment. I docked a star based on a couple things otherwise they would have gotten 5 for today. 1) 3 different nail techs worked on my nails today. I understand if someone preps you by removing polish before the main tech starts or if someone finishing by painting your nails but 3 people is quite excessive to be passed around by. 2) Secondly, this could be because of the first reason but I noticed I was in the salon much longer than I should of been for a standard fill and regular polish Especially for having an appointment. As a working mom that pays a sitter just to run my errands and trying to balance work, this makes time even more precious so when waiting for initial service to start or being switched out by a tech increases service time, it's very inconvenient and sets me back quite a bit. However these 2 factors could of been a one-time thing. I won't know until I visit a couple times. Overall I will be back and recommend Luna Nail Salon. read more

Went for a brow wax & tint, had told the tech I've been working on filling out my brows and wanting them to be thicker. Just need the lines cleaned up and to have them tinted. Came out with lope-sided pencil thin brows. Didn't want to cause a scene so I paid and left, called when I got home to talk to the owner about it and was offered a gift card vs my money back. This salon is beautiful but I had a bad experience and I'm highly disappointed. Everything fell apart when I got my pedicure. I had this lady named Tracy doing my pedicure and I'm sorry to say this but she didn't exactly gave me the best experience. During my pedicure, she was sloppy and she didn't talk to me. She would stop my pedicure to turn around and talk to the other coworkers. She was so loud and she kept doing this for awhile, it was kind of annoying. Also, Im sure she didn't know this but I'm actually Vietnamese so I could understand everything she was saying. When she was cutting my nail, I wasn't aware she was going to cut the side of my toenail and ripped out the corner of it. It really hurts and now my toe is swollen with a lot of pain. read more

The place looks really nice inside, but my experience was really bad. However, I still tried to go back because its next to Fred Meyer, which is the store where I do grocery shopping all the time, so I really wanted to like this place. I think at this point, I have tried almost every single Manicurist/Nail Technician, and the only one, who can do nails, which look good and last decent time is Mary. With everybody else, I had very experience. I have done SNS at least 10 time there, 2 times gel, 2 times regular nail polish and 3 times pedicure. 1. SNS -- my nails cracked every single time on day 3-4 [unless Mary did them, she really knows what she does] 2. Gel was ok 3. But what they did yesterday was awful. Its was a regular nail polish, which peeled off as soon as I went out of the door, I went back and they fixed it, but it started coming off while I was shopping. See picture. My nails were done YESTERDAY!!! The lady also charged me for removal of SNS, really??? I did those nails in their salon and I am a regular customer and you charge me for SNS removal and then paint my nails in such an awful way. That was my last visit. My sister stopped going there after 5 visits because her SNS cracked on day 4-6. I should have listened to her awhile ago. 4. If I ever go back, it will be only for pedicure. read more

First time here. Place is very nice and spacious. Large assortment of colors to choose from! Busy and felt very hectic (which is good, but I prefer more quiet and low key). Got a pedicure which they did a great job, but an additional $18 bucks for Shellac???!!! That's ridiculous. Nice to check out somewhere pretty and fancy, but paying $62 for a Shellac pedi and a basic kids manicure (simply painting her nails pink) is a bit high. The people working are nice and do a good job (been here twice), but after this last visit, I don't think I will return. The entire pedicure felt so rushed. Literally in and out in less than 20 minutes. The leg massage lasted about 20 seconds and no longer. For the same price or less, I'd suggest going elsewhere. This place just seemed more like an operation to turnover as many clients as possible in the shortest time possible. I will say though, if you have a big group, they have the chairs and people working to accommodate, but otherwise, check elsewhere first. read more

Nail techs are sloppy, dips look like misshapen gum drops that will catch your hair when they start to grow out before popping off entirely. Gel last 4-6 days before peeling. $$ pedicures with sloppy massages that leave you wishing for something more especially based on the $ that just went down the drain with the pedi water! They will make you bleed on occasion and I always think I will get an infection! Many other shops around with better educated techs that care about what they do vs this sham.
