Tried it again. Made appointment, it was a super busy day and was seated right away. Waited only about 10/15 mins? Not bad. No complaints. My pedicure was okay. Not much massaging compared to other places. Where I'm really upset with is my nails. I got a fill and my nails are ugly. There was some issues which they fixed right away, but while fixing they made it worse. They told me to come back another day they were less busy... but I was going out of town. It's been a little over a week and two of my nails are chipping - I've never had that happen with gel. I also dye my hair purple, and have had multiple colors on my nails including white and the dye has never affected my nail color... well this time it did. So now my nails are like a lilac color, pretty but I wanted white to match my toes. Not sure if they didn't seal it correctly or cheaper polish but that has never been an issue. Also asked for coffin and didn't get that. Will not be back at all & won't recommend any more people. read more

It's so hard to find a good nail salon. I looked everywhere when I first moved to the area, and I happened upon Luna and loved the first time I went in. So I kept going back and I kept loving it. Super annoyed. Went with my friend for a spa date and we both got mani pedis. The pedicure was good. But I got the classic mani that is just nail trim, cuticle clean up and quick arm massage... I didn't need my nails clipped and they hardly clipped my cuticles. My cuticles actually look worse than before I went it. And I got no arm massage. I paid $20 for them to make my cuticles look worse... I didn't ask them to even paint my nails. And they couldn't take the extra couples minutes to make my hands look nice. Bummer. I won't return. They spent not even 5 minutes with me for my hands. And the cherry on top! The guy was bouncing back and forth from another clients pedicure to touching my hands! He wasnt changing his gloved in between and he was not washing his hands! I have twin infants at home and he was not taking safety/health standards seriously! Let's be real. I've been to A LOT of different nail places probably like the rest of you. I've even had my go-to spots and stayed loyal. However, I started going with family and I needed to find a place to accommodate groups and still provide good customer service and quality of service. Also, I wanted some place that kept up with modern trends, and looked nice on the inside to make it a more relaxing experience. This is where Luna Lounge comes in! It's been so hard to find a place where the decor matched the work they do. Most of the time, I would have to go to hole-in-the-wall type places to get a quality work done. Usually at nail salons, there's the one or two MVP players who are exceptional at their jobs- I've had like a different person every time I've come here (which is like 5 times now, yes I'm still a noob) and they have all done a great job!! I have to say I'm disappointed with my services today. The receptionist asked me if I had a preference whether or not I had my services performed at the same time (a shellac manicure, and shellac pedicure) and I said I didn't mind either way, whatever was easier for them. I ended up getting both at the same time. I normally don't mind if they rush through and today was no exception, however the lady doing my nails didn't seem to keep track of what she had done on one side vs. the other. When I mentioned that she forgotten to file the shellac to keep it from being stuck to my skin, she did the same hand again, when I tried expressing it was the other hand I got the immediate impression she thought I was being a lot of work. Normally I wouldn't say anything but I'm leaving for vacation for 2 weeks, and I wanted my nails to look nice, and also last. Once she'd finished, after she walked away I noticed that one of the nails was noticeably flawed, the shellac or glossy coating was completely missing from the center of the nail. She'd already left, so once my toes were finished I asked the lady doing my toes if she'd mind fixing the fingernail. And she did. But now, as I'm sitting at home, I have the same flaws on two of my toenails. I think if you spend $100 on your nails, they should double check that everything looks ok, and I also think they should be accommodating and fix the nails if you mention there is a problem without making you feel bad. read more

I came here with my boyfriend thinking it would be fun to come to a nice salon and get a pedicure. This is what my nails turned out like... sloppy paint job. They didn't do the pedicure nicely either and we paid for the deluxe ones. No massage no scrubbing . It was just a disappointment overall. Update: 8/10/19 I had to take my dip nails off and go with a regular manicure because funds are a bit tight and I can't afford to maintain the dip currently. Champa (I think that was her name) did my deluxe manicure. She really had no idea what she was doing. She didn't soak my nails off right (they normally use a bowl with acetone inside a larger bowl of hot water and let the nails sit for about 10 min. The receptionist had to fix that because my tech didn't understand English when I asked to correct it. That was the first strike. Then after my dip powder was soaked off, she for some reason used the drill on my nails with the bit they use typically before acrylics. She also cut my finger making it bleed. She made my once hard nails so soft. Strike 2. Then she refused to file my nails round, she kept smacking and bending my nails when she was shaping them and doing the lotion and finally when she painted them, it was so streaky and bubbled it looked like my child did them. Strike 3. I was going to a function that night so I ended up removing the polish myself, using some old nail strips I had and reahaped my nails. I will come back for my dip powder nails with Luke the next time I need them but I'm not returning for a regular manicure. read more

Updated 2- my nice expensive shellac manicure lasted one week before lifting on 6 of my 10 fingers. I'll definitely never go back! My daughters polish chipped on 4 fingers. What a huge waste! Never had this issue before. Updated: still a clean salon, still a decent mani/pedi, but after their discount is no longer valid I spent 203.00 for a mani/pedi today for my daughter and I. I have NEVER spent that much money in a nail salon before! I could have gotten my hair done twice for that price and that lasts 8 weeks!!!! Back to nail masters I go!! For full disclosure, we typically frequent another local nail salon, but when this salon opened and was offering 30% off for all services, we had to try this place! We popped in and the salon was super busy, so we put our name on the list for an appointment with an hour wait time and headed over to Fred Meyer. When we came back the the lady at the front desk was really nice. They game is a form to fill out to select our services and select our drinks (for all ages they serve water, coffee, tea, slushees and soda, for 21+ there are alcoholic beverages available... WHAT!!!) we sat down and had a little wait, which was ok, but then I had one of the best manicures ever by Scott. My only disappointment through all the service was we were not given our drinks, but the overall experience was fantastic. This is my second time going to this salon and I am in love!! Not cheap but not expensive and 100% worth it. When you walk in you're immediately greeted by one of the workers. You fill out a sheet of what you want and there's an option for a complimentary drink with anything you do!! (Alcoholic and non alcoholic) The salon is huge and beautiful. This is my 3rd time getting my nails done here. It is a beautiful place. They give you a drink with your service, even wine/margaritas. Today Tom did my nails, Qwen has done my last two. Though there was a couple hiccups they turned out great! Their color selection is amazing and I never get the same thing twice. I have only done ombré dips and I always get compliments on them. Second time getting my lashes done there, still on the fence about continuing to go there for them. They are a little rough than what I am use to and I always get glue in my eye so it burns. I didn't think too much about it and went with the Deluxe Pedicure. The interior is super nice and new. Lots of space for manicures and pedicures. They also do waxing and permanent make-up. There's also complimentary drinks and everyone will ask if you want one. Overall, everyone was friendly, decent prices, comfortable atmosphere, and more importantly, I think they did a good job on my pedicure. No picture because pictures of feet are weird. read more

Updated to say the owner messaged me on Facebook after my most recent review update to ask me why I left the review. The review is pretty self explanatory and clear about his attitude towards me and my botched nail job which was no fault of my own was the issue. Rather than being accountable, he got upset and told me it wasn't fair. Two more of my nails have broken which makes 3 total. I blocked this nail salon on Facebook. Be nice to your customers when YOUR employees do a poor job. I never would have left a negative review based off of the poor nail job alone...mistakes happen. I'd had positive experiences up until now. It was the way I was treated by the owner when I went back in to get the one broken nail fixed that is why I am leaving this review and I will not be going back to this nail salon. I was not mad or upset when I saw that my entire right hand and the middle finger on my left were all very crooked. I saw after I had already left and immediately called and was told I could come in the next day to have them redone. I decided not to because that would have taken a lot of time out of my day. I did message them on Facebook and sent photos so they could see. I received an apology and an offer of half off next time I came in. Awesome. I appreciated that. But then a nail broke just 3 days later so I messaged again with another picture and asked if I could come in to get just the one nail fixed. I had an event that evening. I was told to come in. No issues at all. When i arrived, I received a cool greeting from the owner who waved me into a chair. I went out of my way to be nice and polite and show that I was not upset but he did not speak to me the entire time and when he did to give me an instruction, it was in a very distant, unfriendly way. That was completely unlike how I have ever seen him before. He has always been friendly but he actually seemed to have an attitude towards me. It is not my fault that your nail technician did a terrible job on my nails and it is not my fault that a nail broke. It was actually AWKWARD sitting there getting that one nail done. I will take my business elsewhere. I am GOOD. P.S. As you can see from the photos, my hands are peeling pretty badly from having to soak them in acetone to get the nail dip powder off. read more

4/3/21 - updating my previous review and deleting photos I originally had posted of their good work as I will no longer be returning. I'd also like to add - I work in customer service. I understand that when it's busy, things are stressful. I also understand how irritating it is to not feel like you're handling each and every customer properly... but this was ridiculous. 1) My husband and I got the Deluxe Pedicure. Husband's: it was alright, they did pretty standard job to remove calluses and the massage was okay. Mine: the person I had forgot to put certain things or do certain things on my legs/feet. For example, they didn't use sugar scrub on one leg or use the callus remover on the other. However, my toenails look fine. 2) My husband and I got the Classic Manicure, with myself getting the addition of SNS dip overlay. Husband's: they did a decent job. Shaped them alright. When the person was cutting the cuticle, they cut one of his cuticles too far back, which hurt but no bleeding. The massage was okay. Mine: My SNS was done first instead of the manicure. My nails were already short and needed to be shaped more evenly. The person barely shaped my nails, my nails look very unevenly round across the board. The SNS is very uneven across my nail and there's bubbles from the top coat on multiple of my nails. Then they moved onto the manicure, cut back my cuticles.... now my nails look even more grown out and I have just gotten them done. They also left the blue powder around multiple of my nails. Massage was sub-par at best. 3) These next things are WHY we're no longer coming back: - When we were getting our toes done, a customer across from us took down their face covering. No employee said anything to this customer the entire time. The customer was wearing it earlier during their service and decided to take it down. I understand we're nearing the end of COVID-19, but it's still best business practice to make sure all people in the business to have their mask on. They have signs posted when you enter! Multiple employees also acknowledged this customer too, but didn't say anything about the face covering. - There was a little girl who was left by herself and started crying that she couldn't be with her parents. An employee finally noticed and got the parent to come over. The girl looked like she was there for BDAY and she was not offered anything for her feet or her friend, so they walked around barefoot (this isn't on the parents, at all! This is on LUNA for not making sure the girls were wearing something on their feet). - When I was getting my nails done, there was nail clippings EVERYWHERE ON THE FLOOR. The floor definitely hadn't been swept for the day and it was pretty gross. - My nail tech for who did my SNS/manicure did NOT use sanitized equipment for my cuticles or nail buffing. All of it came out of their tools box. My husband got sanitized equipment though. 4) We spend over $160 for everything. We're not asking for a refund cause that money helps the people that work there. I'd like to reiterate, I don't post bad reviews since so many are quick to instead of posting a good one. I hate that I won't be coming back after proper sanitization and covid-19 protocols were not followed since I have never had this experience. I started coming here when they first opened and i loved it but it has seriously taken a turn. The last few times it has just gotten worse and worse but i decided to go back because i had a gift card there. I got a deluxe pedicure and got some gems on my toes so extra $7 charge... it was $67. Not to mention there was shellac all over my foot when she was done. Then i also got a full set. The girl that did my nails first put the tips on crooked, then when i asked her to fix them she said she would fix it when she applied the gel, obviously not true. Then things were kinda going fine and i showed her a simple yin Yang design for 2 of the nails and asked if she was comfortable doing that and she said yes. When she started doing the shellac she was putting THICK layers on and it was pooling everywhere and i had to ask her to clean it up before i cured them. Then when she started on the design she was having such a hard time i told her to just paint it solid color and not do the design and she said "no i can do it I'm going to get it" and then i felt bad and had been there for so long i just let her finish.. then at the end after she did the clear coat she tried to clean up the pooling on some of the nails and it chipped off a whole chunk of polish and she just filled it in with the color polish and had me cure it again. Then i paid $137 for all of this mess these nails are so embarrassing. I've been there many of times and the owner/main guy looked at my nails when i was checking out and i know he could tell i wasn't happy. I've complained about my nails before though and was written off so i didn't even bother. Will never come here again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! There are better salons! They advertise $42 for a 35 min pedicure. I walked in at 11:58 and I was paying at 12:18 (my husband was done at 12:11 waiting for me.. I would post pictures, but... embarassing... my nail polish is smudged, two toes are bleeding, and I'm currently in route to another salon to get a real pedicure. They look at you as dollar signs $$$$ and their quality is GARBAGE...we still paid full price for 1 or 2 pedicures, still unsure for what though?... as he should have let us walk out and cut his losses to save face a little...
