I love fresh delicious Greek cuisine. Since my working days l have been a customer and have enjoyed the gyro and beef kabobs. The best rice, hummus and tzakiki sauce. And the meats are juicy and flavorful. I prefer beef to the chicken sometimes because of the tender ness. read more

My friend and I like to try new places for lunch. Luna Grill was a good choice. The people that work there were friendly and helpful. We both tried the Flat Chicken dish, which is grilled and very nicely seasoned, served with a double serving of rice, salad with vegetables and pita bread. Dressing and dip came in containers. The generous dish was bright and beautiful with an excellent flavor combination. As seniors, we could have split it, and still had enough. We will be back, and I will order for my family as well. The atmosphere is: order at the front counter, you get a number, then they bring your food to you. The place was clean, a little loud, but it is a strip mall type place, not a stand alone restaurant. I recommend looking up the menu before you go, so you are not standing there, trying to decide on the dish you want, as the line grows long behind you. I used to be a regular at this location until today. I ordered 2 meals through their website for delivery. On the checkout page, I didn't see a delivery service option so I assumed it was going to be delivered by Luna Grill. Around 30 minutes later I received a text that the Dasher (Doordash Driver) was having trouble finding my address. Then 1 minute later I receive another text saying my food was handed to me. That never happened so I checked my doorstep to see if it was dropped off and it wasn't. I checked my Ring camera history and no one dropped off anything. So I called Luna Grill and explained what happened but the manager kept speaking over me saying I needed to call Doordash for a refund. I tried telling her that Doordash wasn't a delivery option on the Luna Grill website so I don't have a Doordash order number, just a Luna Grill order number and that my credit card shows I was charged by Luna Grill. She then told me they could write my name in "a book" for a refund and food replacement but I would need to go to their location in person now. That really defeats the purpose of ordering delivery and I'm not about to spend money on an Uber because my car is in the shop. The manager then got an employee to tell me they would call Doordash to find out what happened - yes, the manager got an employee to tell me this. The employee says they'll call me back later today or tomorrow. I hope this is resolved soon and that the disconnect happening at this location is fixed. read more

Avoid "Ace" and this place at all cost. The employees here are super mean to customers. Avoid Ace if possible; he was super snotty to an old lady after she ordered gryo and he said we don't have gyro meat any more. She asked for chicken instead and he said it's against the rules. She asked again; and he said I would but I can't. This place is dirty and falling apart. No gyro meat and refuses to sub chicken. What is there to order? We go eat often here. The chicken is tender and the veggie skewer is very tasty. When we started coming here the food was the best part. Few manager came and went at this point. Our kids were messy and sometimes cried and that was not well received, but we kept coming for the delish food. Now there is mew management and they go out of their way to make us feel welcome. We lost a kids essentials bag and we did not know where we lost it until we came to eat and the manager recognized us and give it to as; that was awesome. We are very disappointed with our experience today. The koobideh kebab was burnt, chicken was so dry, salad was slimy, and the rice was so undercooked and hard to eat. We Paid almost $40 dollars for 2 dishes, this was definitely overpriced for the quality and the portion of the food. Also, for dine in, your food is served in small plastic dishes. Luna Grill is located in a strip mall in Poway near Target. We ordered on-site and waited for a text telling us when our take-out order was ready, which was about 15 minutes. The tables inside are currently unavailable due to COVID. They require masks and have perspex up at the register to protect you and the cashier. They have an enclosed area for outdoor dining which is handy during COVID. The food is fast casual mediterranean -- items like salads, falafel, kebabs, rice, olives, etc. It's nice to have a relatively healthy fast food option in the area. It would be nice if they offered more vegetarian offerings. We had a $20 gift card and added about $6 to it for 2 meals (no drinks). Plenty of parking available. read more

Everytime we order delivery there is always something not quite right. The cookies are hilarious for the price $2.25 each, definitely not worth it, about the size of a quarter.
