The food here is excellent - freshly grilled, well seasoned, and generously portioned. There's a good variety of gluten free options too for my gf friends. You can get wraps, bowls, or big plates of food in many combinations of proteins + veggies + sides. My favorite sauce is the zhoug! It's like a slightly spicy chimichurri, bright and herbaceous in the best way. Luna Grill is great for a casual to-go, dine-in with friends/family, and (now I know) catering! It was super easy to order the catering via their website. The order was confirmed quickly, and everything was prepared, packaged, and ready at the exact time specified. I went back to Luna Grill Poway yesterday for some delicious food. And as always, the food was super delicious! I had a chicken kabob and gyros combination plate with extra rice instead of salad. And it was yummy! The gyros and chicken kabob combination with rice and tzatziki dressing is simply wonderful! Stopped by on the weekend for lunch. I ordered the Mediterranean Salad. I requested that chickpeas be added. They were crunchy and tasty, but very few were added. We ordered the family meal for 4 and it was a lot of food to feed all 6 of us. Used to be our go to place for family dinner/lunches. Went back for the first time in over 2yrs and everything changed. Positives: Staff at the Pomerado location were nice and friendly as usual Load Fries bowl were freshly fried and were as good as before Not so good: My falafel were totally burnt and were extremely hard to take a bite into. My mouth was bruised trying to eat them. My plastic fork broke and I couldn't even puncture the falafel. totally unacceptable!! Covid restrictions have eased all over but they haven't brought back the regular dinner plates and cutlery. Probably cheaper for corporate to serve in single use plastic containers and cutlery so they just continued them. Who cares about plastic trash, right? Rice no longer has flavor that in the past probably came from saffron. It was plain salted long grain rice.. probably not Basmati rice. read more

I decided to order from this location today because the bowl has been different the two times I ordered from the one on Scripps Poway Parkway. You can see the bowl is not very full and the sauce was in a cup instead of over the meat. The most annoying thing is I walked in and stood in from of the female employee for about 30 seconds, she was behind the register sitting on a stool and looking stuff up on her phone when a man helped me to give me my order. She never moved from what she was doing, and I felt I was more an inconvenience than them being appreciating me coming to their business. The food and the employee interaction might have me go back to Santorini's on Scripps Poway Parkway instead. read more

I ordered the Luna Grill Classic salad. I guess I didn't read the ingredients right, but I thought all the dressings were like what you get when you order a plate. It is like an italian dressing, but I guess they put a creamy tzatziki sauce on it which was terrible. They put way too much sauce on it that you couldn't taste any of the food.
