Not only did we have our own poor experience with a specific staff member being extremely rude and dismissive, while finishing our food outside because we didn't want to deal with his attitude, he must've been so poorly behaved to another customer considering as she was walking out the door, she turned to tell him "it's really not okay and you shouldn't be laughing. It's really not". This was our first time in. We had already looked online prior to arriving to decide our items. We weren't greeted with any "welcome"s and the line set up was confusing. Once we figured it out, he asked if we were ready to order and we said yes. We told him what we wanted and when he followed with "is there any changes you'd like to make" we paused for not even five seconds to re-read the item list to make sure there wasn't. Within those 5 seconds, and as we went to respond, he cut us off and very rudely said "well so and so will help you instead. Next." It literally caught us off guard because it was so extremely dismissive. I think I audibly scoffed and said "oh okay?" out of utter disbelief. The other person seemed no happier to be working on this day. He "helped" us at check out by putting the payment screen up and immediately going back to vent to his coworker about whatever problem he likely caused himself. We then decided to sit outside, even though it was extremely hot, because we felt too uncomfortable to be inside. While sitting is when we watched the above interaction. The woman was visibly upset. He responded with something dismissive as she walked out. I didn't get a name as I wasn't offered a receipt, but the interactions took place for both of us between 1-1:30 on 3/28. The unhappy employee was a younger male with a backwards black baseball hat, light grey long sleeve, black framed glasses, and a goatee that supported his frown. You should definitely hire better people to represent your brand. It doesn't help that the food was heavily overpriced for the quality. Yuck! read more

I'm sad to update my review with a lower rating, as we love sweet green and the clean ingredients/what they stand for. Also love that they regularly come out with new flavors (the most recent KBBQ is amazing) and the new avocado oil fries are great as well, but the people working at this specific location need a course in BASIC customer service. It happens frequently at this location when certain ingredients are out and we are asked if we want to wait for it be ready. They say one thing, usually 5-10 minutes, and it's almost always way longer. Other fast-casual places have more efficient operations and can better time replenishing ingredients. This last time the steak wasn't ready and the girl said it'll be 5 minutes. Waited 15 minutes for another worker to put the completed plate on the counter and say it's ready. I had told the first girl that I was going to make substitutions. When I told this other worker that I wanted to make subs, she got annoyed and quickly made a new plate, set it down on the counter and walked away without putting a lid on it. Why is SHE the annoyed one when I had to wait longer than quoted for my food to be ready, and then didn't check in with me as she was making it so it was made wrong?! On top of that, the steak was super cold! The employees don't seem very happy to be working here and they definitely don't care about customers having a good experience. When this was brought up with the manager she refunded a part of our order which was appreciated. However this isn't the first time customer service has been lacking, recently it's been mediocre at best and this last time was unbelievably bad. So sad as I otherwise loved this place. :( read more

Food is consistently delicious here. Healthy food and healthy portions. I've only tried a few things - Cesar salad, hot honey chicken bowl. The fam tried the garlic steak. I may not be naming them correctly but essentially you can't go wrong with any of the menu items. I especially like that they ask you how much dressing or sauce you want on your plate. The one thing I don't care for is the roasted chicken. I prefer the blackened chicken so I modify my orders to that. Service thus far has been great- quick, easy, friendly. Don't let the prefix menu scare you. While you CAN choose a preselected bowl or salad, you can make your own (although personally I've only ever done the pre selected ones and they're always delicious). I traditionally get some sort of bowl with sweet potato and tofu and while the prices are fairly steep, the sides of the bowls and salads make it worth it. They also don't skimp on dressing which is great. read more

Came here on a Saturday for lunch. It was our first time here so we weren't sure what to get. The make your own salad seemed a bit overwhelming to do for my first time so I decided on the steakhouse chopped salad that they advertised as new. There are so many options to choose from the salad bar. All looked fresh and really good. I chose for the salad to be mixed and also got the slice of bread to go with it. The salad was surprisingly really delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly and the quinoa went perfectly with the salad and dressing. I could've done without the bread. There wasn't anything to dip it with and it wasn't toasted so it felt a bit much for me. Overall I was very happy with the salad I got. I ate almost all of the huge entree salad and it was good, ok or otherwise too healthy tasting for my liking. They didn't have cucumbers today right at the noon lunch hour. First time here, reminds me of CAVA, I'd say slightly better ingredients but similar. Salad bar where you can pick your own ingredients or chose some popular options. IT IS NOT UNREASONABLE TO ASK FOR A BAG, and if I'm tipping, the very least you can do is walk a few feet to get a bag and place my food inside. I'm a regular here. I'll come once for lunch and once for dinner a week. I will get the Crispy Rice Bowl which I get half romaine, half arugula on bottom and it comes with 1 scoop wild rice (with no crispy rice, cuz my fiance has bad teeth and they are hard) or the Chicken Avocado Ranch Bowl, w/half romaine half arugula, and I change the white rice to wild, substitute spicy broccoli or chick peas instead of pickled onions. They are pretty fast, you can get in and out in 10 minutes. It is pretty price, around $14-$17 per bowl. But I went on a diet January 2024 to August 2024 and lost 24 lbs, eating alot here. Removing the tortilla chips and no bread of course. The other bowls are good too: steakhouse chopped, shroomami, chicken pesto parm. I love the plates: miso glazed salmon and carmelized garlic steak, but hardly get these. There is an incentive program, if you eat here at least twice a week, it will make sense to join. But I'm hesitant, to pay for a discount to get a discount. read more

The workers here are so rude and unaccommodating. I was ordering 2 bowls and he said to us "There is not enough steak for the both of you" so one of us had to get chicken which was dry. Wasn't offered the bread and the worker stared at us while we tried to get into the restaurant in the first place because the door was locked. We also ordered the focaccia which was a mistake. I've seen sweetgreen several times, but was excited when I was picking up something from Mendocino Farms in the 4S Ranch location, and saw there was also a sweetgreens. I may have eaten at their place a LONG while back. The interior was beautiful, minimalist and simple. I checked their website before placing my order as there are selective salads that could only be ordered online. I ordered the Miso Roasted Corn Bowl which I loved. It consists of roasted corn + peppers, blackened chicken, shredded cabbage, raw carrots, basil, warm wild rice, shredded kale, roasted almonds, and miso sesame ginger dressing. The pick up area was well designed. They had the shelves right nearby the kitchen, bags hung on the wall, and then utensils on the side, making it so simple to do a grab and go. My salad fed me for two meals. The first where I ate all the meat, the second where I just needed to add protein. It was one of the best salads I ever had in my life and that I really enjoyed. I always find them to have outstanding food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and everything you can expect from a made to order eatery. Today, I ordered the very tasty Fish Taco Warm Bowl. The friendly staff was willing to toss a few extras into the mix including almonds instead of tortilla chips and sliced cherry tomatoes. I think the tomatoes should be on the regular list of warm bowl mix-ins for the fish taco. I'm a big fan. Five massive stars! read more

The service at this location is a hit or miss. Unfortunately, yesterday I had another poor experience! When I walked in, the server was unfriendly. Bad sign! I placed my order for a Guacamole Greens bowl only to find out that they were out of romaine lettuce (I opted for just the Spring Mix). The server then scooped out the last pitifully small amount of grilled chicken instead of getting a fresh supply. What bothered me the most was that they were out of avocados as well which is the signature ingredient in a GUACAMOLE Greens salad. She didn't even tell me they were out of avocados until the very end. Had I known that they were out of so many ingredients, I would've ordered another salad! Worst off, she didn't even apologize! I went to Sweetgreens at 5:30 pm! I'm guessing that other patrons that evening/night would not get all the ingredients for their salads (avocados, Roman lettuce, etc)!! read more

DISGUSTING. Terrible and improper food-handling and washing. There were these green worms all over our bowls. I'm especially concerned because l ate half of my bowl in the dark, and I'm pregnant so I was scared that this might be dangerous. I previously worked in a kitchen as a cook for a few years and this is really horrible to see. Reasons not to have pesticide-free farm food sadly I just had to do all this research and although this particular worm I ate is harmless, it means we all might be exposed to other parasites and worms that clearly were not protected against or washed out. I've had lunch from this location three times in the past month, so obviously, something has me coming back for more! I think I'm drawn to Sweetgreen because of its fast service, fresh food, and convenient location. Their concept is similar to any poke shop, Subway, Chipotle, and Urban Plates. You walk up to the counter and order a base and toppings or select from suggested "mixes". The restaurant has some seating both indoors and outdoors. I found it to be clean, bright and airy. Not a noisy spot and is perfect for a workday lunch or meeting with friends. My favorite so far is the BBQ Chicken Salad which is on their Taste of Summertime list. The bowl is filled with fresh greens (romaine, kale and red cabbage), roasted chicken chunks, apples, tomatoes, red onion and tortilla chips. The green goddess dressing and honey BBQ sauce combined make the salad super tasty. You can have a slice of bread on the side as well. Delicious! Prices are what you expect to see these days. $15++ for lunch in this area is typical. Looking forward to tasting what they bring in for the Fall! read more

The down sides were as follows: - limited drink selection if you don't drink caffeine or sugar. It would have been great of they offered a herbal tea or diet soda. - it was hot. Almost all seating was outside and there were not nearly enough umbrellas - a LOT of the options were extra charge. They didn't have that many options for the free ones. I would have loved it if they offered fresh mushrooms, sprouts, olives, edamame or corn. I edited my review to 4* because I truly appreciate a business that responds to its customers.
