Glad to find out this Thai restaurant near my work. The boat noodle with thin rice middle I got is flavorful. The place is not big with about 30 seat. Service is friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back to try out more of their menu items.

I love spicy food, but didnt find it here. Ordered a spicy 8 and it hardly had any spice at all. Food was tasty

Cute, casual Thai option in Rancho Bernardo near High Country West. The menu options are varied. The Thai iced tea was huge. The waitress was polite. $2 up-charge for brown rice. Several tables inside or take-out. Decent amount of parking in the lot (slightly tight) or street parking. Would visit again.

Small restaurant with very limited seating in a busy plaza. Especially during lunch time. 1 way in and out. Prob best to find parking on the street. I ordered Boat Noodles on a rainy day and it was absolutely perfect. I have to say this is the tastiest one I've had so far. Other places are way too sweet for me. Someone greeted me the moment I walked in. Didn't take long for my order to get taken or for them to bring it out. My server even brought the spice tray before I could even ask for it. Will be back.

We tried this place based on Yelp rating. Had lunch with mom and my wife. The menu is standard with some specialty items. We 0rdered.two from the specialty items. The place is small about 10 tables but we were able to get a seat. The server is very polite. Since we have not eaten yet, my review is based only on my first impression and the way we were attended. I will update this review later after after.lunch. I will give them 4.2 UPDATE: Review of the food... Pad See Ew taste good. The veggies are fresh and the noodle was cooked just right. Tiger Cry Steak: the meet is tender enough and taste good as well. Garlic Fish: The veggies are fresh, the fish was cooked just right, and very flavorful. Overall the food is really good. My updated rating for this experience is 4.6

This is a small restaurant with friendly service . They offer lunch specials which include soup, egg roll, cucumber salad and your entree for about $15. I ordered the spicy noodle (drunken noodle) with shrimp and my friend ordered pad thai with pork. I thought our food was very good. I liked the extra touch of giving us guava candy with the bill. I would like to return with more people so we can actually try more items to get a true sense of their food. But nonetheless we had a great experience .

Tucked away in a quiet strip mall this cute casual Thai spot - definitely worth a visit! Nicely decorated interior with a small handful of tables. Highly recommend to call ahead to reserve a table if they are busy! Ordered yellow curry with brown rice - the rice looked more like a very dark purple forbidden rice, but was tasty. Yellow curry was a bit thin (diluted with too much chicken broth) then I like, but had very nice sweet flavor. Pad Thai was savory and tangy with fresh grilled shrimp! The dish was served up with a lovely flower and some ground peanuts and bean sprouts on the side of the dish. Absolutely perfect! This is a great spot for affordable casual food, or ordering food to go! Recommend!

Favorite neighborhood thai place. Seems like many people get takeout from here. Servers are very attentive and quick. Food came out hot and surprisingly flavorful despite ordering mild spice! It's a pretty casual restaurant. I'll try to come back for their weekday lunch specials.

It's my first time here and I ordered take out. Service & Atmosphere: Service was good -- the person helping me was polite, and the interior looked clean. They even had chairs set up for people waiting for their to-go orders, which was a nice touch. Food: I usually order the same dishes when I try new Thai restaurants, so I went with Chicken Pad See-Ew, Chicken Thai Fried Rice, Chicken Green Curry. The Pad See-Ew was the standout. It was flavorful and cooked just right -- definitely the best of the three dishes (4.5/5). The Thai Fried Rice was also solid, made with long grain rice just the way it should be (4.5/5). Unfortunately, the Green Curry was a big miss. When I opened it, I was surprised by how unnaturally green it was -- almost like Easter egg dye. Even the chicken and bamboo shoots had turned green from it. On top of that, the rice was soggy and clumpy, almost like Cal-Rose rice cooked with too much water, which isn't typical for Thai food. Green curry is usually my go-to dish, but here it was disappointing (1/5).

This Thai food restaurant is very good and food is delicious with the great service. The boat noodles are especially delicious, just like the ones in Thailand. Stir fried eggplant is simply delicious and tasty. Fresh spring rolls are so good too. I love this place and I'll come back soon.

This place is AMAZING. It's a small place in a little strip mall area - and the food is so fresh and such high. The people who run it are so kind. Everyone I've brought here agrees. This is the definition of a "hole in the wall" gem.

The place feels welcoming right away, clean, modern, and decked out nicely without being over-the-top. Our server was spot-on from the start--super knowledgeable about the menu, quick with solid recommendations, and just attentive enough without hovering. Service was incredibly fast, which is a huge plus when you're hungry for that fresh seafood fix. We dove right into the boils (you know the drill: everything gets dumped out on the table lined with paper, and you just go to town cracking shells and getting messy--it's part of the fun!). The flavors were absolutely on point--fresh ingredients shining through, and the seasoning was bold and balanced. Word of warning: when they say "spicy," they mean it! The heat builds in the best way, but it's flavorful heat, not just burn-your-mouth-for-no-reason. We loved the combo of sauces (Cajun, garlic butter, etc.--pick your poison), and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The corn on the cob was perfectly cooked--sweet, juicy, and grilled just right. Potatoes, sausage, the whole classic lineup was spot-on. Presentation? It's rustic by nature (no fancy plating here--you're eating straight off the table), but it was done well and felt authentic to the experience. Overall, it was a super enjoyable meal--messy in the best possible way, full of flavor, and left us all stuffed and happy. Prices felt fair for the quality and portion sizes, especially for a group share. We'll definitely be back--maybe next time trying the Escondido Surfing Special or some of the Asian-fusion options on the menu. If you're craving a real seafood boil experience in Escondido, give Surfing Crab a shot. You won't regret it. Highly recommend!

Their vegetarian menu is extensive! They have so many yummy choices! I ended up getting the mango salad, the chili stir fried noodle with beef (i had the chow mein noodle replaced with flat egg noodle), the Burmese sausages, and the star of the show for me, the palata with curry dip, i chose the curry with chicken. The fluffy roti bread was one of the best bread I've had in the same group as naan. This roti bread was savory and soft and chewy and just altogether quite wonderful. The curry it came with was thick and robust in flavor. This appetizer is an absolute delight. I enjoyed the chili stir fried noodles also as the beef was tender, infused with deep flavor and completed this dish. The Burmese sausage lacked in flavor for me. These sausages were on the sweeter side. Just not my flavor profile. I later went to Spicy Lao Kitchen and ordered lao sausages. Now thats a sausage. It was amazing! The mango salad could be infused with more mango flavor. This salad was too light for me and even tasted bitter. All and all I still thoroughly enjoyed the salad. The service was stellar. I had a wonderful conversation with Marlo and she was a joy to be around. The inside is decent sized and plenty of tables. There is more than 1 server so thats nice. Lol. There's a lot of businesses around this area so I can see Sushi Kami being a popular spot for a go-to lunch outside of work. We came for dinner and got seated right away and it wasn't too busy at all. It was nice but still casual at the same time if that makes sense. I will say the parking was a little tight and we had to make a bit of an awkward U-turn to get to the restaurant but the lot wasn't that full so it wasn't too bad but I could see this being trickier in the daytime. I really enjoyed both the spicy tuna and salmon. I've had a lot of weird spicy tuna but this one hit just right. It's always hard to find that perfect balance between fish and spice but I really enjoyed this one. The salmon was good too. The standout was definitely the tempura we got as well. It was large and came out hot and crispy and perfect. This is the type of sushi restaurant I could take people to who don't necessarily like sushi all that much. There's lots of options on the menu including bulgogi (next time I shall try!) and really good combos for people to enjoy. Ambiance is chill but still has that fun sushi vibe with the displays of fish (and I even saw some creative fish decorating on the walls which I thought was a nice touch) Service was nice and they always refilled our waters without us having to ask. We were the only people in the restaurant and we made it there in time for the lunch special, which was a bonus. I was super hungry, I ordered a mango lassi and chicken MoMo for appetizer. When they brought out the mango lassi they also surprise me with a nice little bowl of a yellow daal soup. I scarfed them both down within minutes, which I kind of regret, because by the time of the rest of the food came out, I was almost full. The lunch specials came out before the MoMo but no big deal. The lunch special is really a great value. They give you a ton of food. You get two of the lunch items with rice and naan. I ate a little bit of it, but ended up taking most of it to work for lunch the next day. I had the vegetable korma and paneer tikka masala. I didn't get any spicey because I wasn't sure how hot they were gonna make it and the vegetable korma really could've used a little bit of spice, but it was still delicious. The paneer tikka masala was outstanding, had so much flavor in it. The MoMo was also fantastic and we did eat all of those because I didn't think they were going to hold up well if we took them home. I love how they made them with almost like a little cup at the top that you could put some of the sauce in. Don't be like me though, and give them a few minutes to cool down, the broth inside the dumplings is super hot. I was so excited I bit into it a minute or two after it came out and I wish I had waited a little longer. I would absolutely return to this restaurant when I am in the area.

The food was fantastic as well. We had the Caprese appetizer and the rice balls prior to our meal...both yummy! We all had an assortment of entrees from pizza to tortellini to eggplant Parmesan...not a slouch in the bunch. The pizza dough was amazing. Flavorful and a wonderful texture. The wood fire did wonders! The restaurant was bustling with customers and the energy was lively and upbeat. Not loud at all and we were able to have good conversation. The staff are friendly and great with recommendations. The food is fantastic and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. I loved my Spaghetti Amatriciana! It's hard to find guanciale in stores so this was a real treat. They have plenty of appetizers, pastas, pizzas, veggie and gluten free options. They also have a kids menu and a lovely cocktail selection. We ordered virgin drinks and enjoyed them very much. This was my second time here. The first time was a few months ago when our work hosted a big appreciation dinner. The restaurant has a great covered patio that is beautiful and spacious. The ambiance, food, and quality of service was what got me to return again. This is definitely a fantastic place for Italian fare. Great for intimate dates or big celebrations.
