I've been coming to this food truck for a while, & I never leave disappointed with fulfilling my cravings. The owners as always very friendly & always helpful in recommendations. The ambiance is the feel of a food truck/ mom & pop local restaurant feels, they usually have a few tables setup outside their truck with foldable chairs, usually the seating is great if your coming in small groups, but with whole family above 6 people it's better to do takeout orders or bring your own foldable chairs to create seating space. Additionally, I'll add the location is very easy to find & right off the freeway 15 right behind the best buy store. I've tried practically 90% of their menu, & the items I personally recommend are the mixed bbq roll, double cheese burger, beef bihari roll, the New Yorker, & the loaded fries literally in this order, top 5 dishes. Updating my review to say that Blazzers is still so good! I haven't been in a while and was looking for late night food so I decided to come to Blazzers. I got the New Yorker which is rice, chicken, lettuce, onion, and tomato with a white and red sauce. This was soooo good and although not exactly like the ones in New York, it was very reminiscent of the Halal carts I used to have in New York. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned and the sauces were amazing. It had a nice kick to it too. I will definitely be going back soon to get this again. read more

Tried the pakistani food for first time. It is definitely not as good as their casa lahori restaurant. We ordered malai chicken platter. The chicken pieces were far and few . It was dry and not at all juicy. We also ordered Anda shami burger. This was certainly good but lacked any spices. I also noticed the owner's friends acquaintances hanging around and inside the kitchen. They were drinking inside the kitchen which may not be hygenic at all. Also it seems to be a security issue as well Overall their food is passable but not as good as it was earlier in their restaurants. Their service is also off and I won't go there again. read more

This was a random choice for me, after picking up some items, about 20 minutes before they closed , I found them on a quick Google search for best burger near me. I ordered and then went about locating this place ... Didn't realize it was a food truck until it directed me to the parking lot behind BestBuy. All I can tell you is I am glad I went, and know they have claimed a top spot on take out food locations. For a taste test at home, I ordered their Double cheeseburger, the Anda Shami Burger, and their Blaze Fries with Chickenb all made to perfection and thoroughly enjoyable. You know the food is good when you never order burgers with tomatoes on them and realize, after splitting a burger that the burger was so tasty, you didn't realize it had a tomato on it .. I can only imagine how much better, for me at least,this will taste sans the tomatoes. (Me stating I dislike most tomato anything , is an understatement). Blazers food truck was pretty darn good i have to say this is my 3rd visit. I have had positive experiences here and got multiple different things this time. My favorite dish was the 'New Yorker' had a wonderful and satisfying tastes with signature sauces on top the meat was perfect and combo with rice and lettuce was a filling bowl. The blaze fries are definitely a big hit forsure fans of carna asada fries will love this lots of crispy fries and super good meat of choice and cheese and signature blaze sauce and garlic sauce was a tasty pick up I'd recommend. The Tikka roll was a good fill not too big but had a great taste of chicken and sauce mixed in with lettuce and such. The double cheese burger was a big hit too not a miss at all and a solid choice of beef and cheese if you wanted more protein or something less adventures. Definitely give them a try Service made it easier to decide on what to get and what sauces to add and is a good take out or eat in the car spot or group of tables available to sit near the truck. Friendly service & flavorful food! I placed my pick-up order tonight with Ubereats and it was on-time. The cashier was welcoming and offered the Imlee chutney in addition to the mint chutney for my order of samosas. I wasn't familiar with Imlee chutney but I was pretty impressed with how the tamarind flavor complimented the samosas! I think the samosas are my fav on the menu so far! The chicken burger had a nice char and was tender. I think I would've liked a bit more lettuce for the crunch but that's probably up to preference. read more

This place (or truck really) has been on my must-try list for awhile and I finally made the trip out here. It's fairly easy to find off the 15 Fwy in a parking lot shared with a Mexican food truck. There is plenty of parking here. I tried the chicken malai boti roll, garlic fries, and ordered a side of the mint chutney. This chutney is a staple in Pakistani restaurants and it's so good I would just drench everything with it. The guy who was working was really friendly and helpful as far as answering any questions I had about the menu, and when I paid he did let me know it would be a small wait. I will say that good food is sometimes worth waiting for, I would rather wait 10-15 minutes for a great meal than something immediate and quick which isn't prepared as well. He took great care in making my food and it was excellent. Some cuisines just don't work well as "fast" food and it's better that way. The chicken was tender and hearty, with more chutney inside the roll. The fries were great too, plenty of garlic sauce drizzled on top. The roll had the feel of a decent sized burrito and it's something I would get again if I didn't want to try other things on the menu! I believe they have a second truck in Hillcrest which is closer to me, but otherwise this is worth the drive and wait. It seems most people order to go as the seating area wasn't busy and I also took off as soon as I got my order. August Stop 52 This food truck is located really close to our place, and we decided to try it. As a novice in this area of food, the owner was super helpful in deciding what to eat! I really appreciated his explanations and thoroughness! We ended up getting the chicken malai boti roll and the plain samosas. It did take a bit, but they said they were making everything fresh, which was nice! We were waiting at a few tables nearby the truck. The roll was good, but was lacking a little in flavor. The meat was well cooked, I just wish the sauce was a bit stronger. In hindsight, I think I could go with the other chicken dish for that extra flavor! We were so sad when the family closed their restaurant Casa Lahori in Rancho Bernardo, so we were super excited when we saw on Instagram that they have a new food truck now! They're located in the lot behind Best Buy on Mira Mesa Blvd near the Goodwill dropoff. We were down there doing our weekly shopping at H Mart so we stopped by for a late lunch afterwards. They have a scaled down menu but still have a lot of our favorite items from their restaurant. Their main thing is their burgers, sandwiches and rolls (wraps) which have always been amazing and something anyone from any background can enjoy. (Who doesn't love a great cheeseburger?) Their meat is halal, they have chicken and beef, and one fish item. Not much in the way of vegetarian, but they do have fries. Their samosas might be veg maybe. This time around we got: Chapli Kabob - love the seasoned rice it comes with, we've always been obsessed with the way they do it. Anda Shami Sandwich- we ALWAYS ordered this at their restaurant and we were craving this so hard these past few months. Beef Bihari Roll - this is new! Flavorful ground beef kabob with sauces and veggies in a wrap like a burrito. Really filling and absolutely delicious! It is so wonderful to see this hard working family back in business again. After being misled into eating crap Pakistani food a week before, I was highly intrigued by the discovery of a Pakistani food truck in Mira Mesa. I needed to give Pakistani food another shot after my previous experience. I ordered an Anda Shami Burger and was initially surprised upon seeing a substantially sized burger. It looked absolutely loaded which gave the burger some pop. After taking my first bite, I became delighted by the flavorful spices of the grilled beef and lentil patty. The patty is not like your typical beef patty. It is similar to a black bean burger patty with a soft texture in my opinion. Anyways, I could not stop eating the burger and craved another one immediately after finishing! Unfortunately, another Anda Shami will have to wait for another day. I am glad to report that Blazzers is offering some great food and has redeemed Pakistani cuisine for me! read more

The total price of those two items was cheaper than what I ordered which was a beef bihari roll. We waited awhile for our order as were other customers. The beef bihari roll was pretty greasy, so much that it was seeping through the tortilla and the sauce/flavor was too concentrated for my palette. Our second time coming here for some good Pakistani food, which is a hard find in San Diego. Thankfully we found a place that's reliable for good food! The chicken tikka was very soft and tender with great flavor and the burger had amazing flavor despite It seeming like a regular American meal. The sauces were also great and we had mayo fries on the side to share. Be aware that It can take some time to wait for your order and it's definitely best to eat fresh!
