Getting right to the point... Luna X2 is a darn good bike. Ordered and received mine within one week. Assembly was made simpler by Luna's helpful videos. My backstory: Sold my Harley 3 years ago and bought a fat-tire ebike, put 3,000 miles on it, knew I really liked it, but the unstoppable squeaking of the fat tire bike's one-piston brakes had me ride a friend's X1. I had only a guess of how comfortable a full-suspension bike rides. Holy crap! Why did I wait so long? Before writing any review, I wanted to ride my X2 for a month, during which I got the cockpit dialed in perfect...(brakes, throttle, mirror, controller, bell, dropper seat post, shifter, all set at comfortable wrist degrees to the bars). I added a 3" stem because I'm 71 and need to sit slightly straighter, bought a soft seat, added a kickstand, mirror, bell, and also purchased the 860 color display (highly recommended). The X2 ride is so smooth, the power is more than plentiful, the paint shines like a star-filled universe. Yes, there was due some tweaking of nuts and bolts, and psi settings for the high-quality Rock Shox rider's weight. Again, all made simpler by Luna's helpful videos. And when I contacted Luna's support staff with a question, they were spot-on. Now all the hills and trails and roads around me are keeping me young. Thank you, Luna. read more

This is my last email to Luna which explains all: I don't think you are understanding the fact that you sent me a damaged bike. I paid thousands of dollars for something that is damaged and not working. How would you feel? Just put yourself in the customers shoes for a second and let me know how you would feel if you are a 14 yr old boy, who saved his money for 14 years and finally decided to spend it aaalll on an e bike that he's been wanting for a while. Then you get it and see that it's damaged and doesn't work properly. So now you finally have the bike you have been wanting but you can't ride it. I can tell you don't have kids. No sympathy. No apology for sending us damaged merchandise. Just a Measly $50 if I send you a receipt. It's disgusting honestly. Have to give a special shout out to Eddie and Kyle. We drove down from the bay to SoCal to check out XXX for my son for his birthday. Came in and find out they were sold out the day before we arrived. However, Kyle was going to make some arrangements for us to take one home without waste the trip. I ordered a talaria xxx for my son and the bike was totally fine, come a few days later the charger stopped working. My husband checked the problem and there was a red wire cut or wasn't properly placed. We contacted Luna Cycle and they wouldn't cover the damage. We connected the wire and it works fine now. AVOID showroom shop ONLINE. Reading some of the 5 star reviews on Google I was looking forward to going in-store to pick up a Sur Ron for my son, but was extremely disappointed and felt disrespected for no reason. I went in on a Friday ready to buy a Sur Ron fully intending to leave with one that day. Kyle was there in the showroom and was helping two customers ahead of me so I spent my time waiting looking at the stock on the floor, no problem. When Kyle did approach me he told me the basics of the bike which was fine and then continued to help the other customers. I sat on one of the bikes to get a feel for it. I was testing the angles that I could comfortably lean on the bike through dirt bike tracks or OHV trails when I heard Kyle sarcastically say to the other two customers he was helping "Looks like he KNOWS what he's doing." Not sure where that comment came from or what exactly I did to be treated that way. I thought to myself, "Whatever I'm just here to give them my money and get out." When the other two customers left Kyle approached me again and I asked if it was possible I could test drive one because I was told through email that I could and he said that he didn't feel like it and he walked away. So I just left the store. Didn't receive a response when I called a couple times and left a voicemail, but did get a prompt response when I sent an email. I purchase a complete kit in 2021 with my plumbing business I never got around to completing it until 2022 so my bike is really only a year old. the first thing that quit was the brake sensors (twice) . I had to purchase my 52V battery from ebay as Luna is a ebike company that never has batteries in stock (lol) . I made the mistake of adding the Luna custom in house made chainring , so when it prematurely failed I contacted Tony (customer service) and his first reply was "sorry we don't have priority shipping" (for a part that weight ounces) , then he tells me your chain ring is over 2 years old " sorry we can do nothing for you here", with tony his favorite lines are " Sorry we can't" , not let me see what I can do to help you . I spent over $1;000 on my kit and all Tony can say is " sorry we can't" I was willing to buy a new chainring and pay for shipping but all he could say was " sorry we can't help you" I found one at a competitor and they put it in the mail today , avoid Luna and Tony. read more

Another predatory e-bike manufacturer- save your time and pay more for a Giant, Trek, Specialized. Ordered an X2.5 Enduro after months of research and back/forth between this bike and WattWagon's Hydra. Decided to pull the trigger with Luna since it was about $2000 cheaper. Bike arrived a few days ago, I followed the (quite convoluted) instructions in the videos they provide but the bike won't turn on. Opened a support case day of, and I've only gotten 2 email replies. Both of them suggesting I review the very SAME documentation and video they provide on their website. Bike was $4500 after tax, I'm in Florida and for me to return it I have to deconstruct the bike again, return in the original packaging and pay for the shipping back to Cali out of pocket to even be CONSIDERED for a refund. I've now purchased a set of tools to further troubleshoot the bike and will most likely require replacements, all of which are of responsibility to reinstall. Truth is I blame myself for not spotting the heaps of hidden 1-2 star reviews in their instagram comments and google reviews complaining about the same predatory practices and lack of support I warn you all here. Having same problem as lots of other people with battery shuts down. Less then 900km total less then 20 charges most got out of it 48km before dead. now around 17km. Sent video to them get reply bms not working currently. Not repairable! battery only 3 month warranty whether was manufacturers fault or not. There has been alot of reviews on this being a problems with the Wolfe luna battery. The bms were basically 50/50 if you got one that worked currently. Answer so far can sell you a replacement at discount plus $75 usd to deliver if send pictures to prove recycled fucked one. Basically doing the Apple fob off because cant own up to selling faulty goods. I am currently waiting for next reply from Seb. Giving them 24hrs as even after reply customer service is dead slow. There were two males inside of the store after the fourth minute of me just standing there looking stupid trying to get someone's attention. The taller gentleman walks over to me and ask, what do I need? I tell him that I have a E Ride pro he tells me that if he does decide to fix it I will be the last person on his list to get fixed and he will charge me double to fix it. Picked up my second bike today from Luna. Despite it being a terrible time for me to show up they took care of me. I arrived at the exact time a handful of full size semi trucks showed up with new shipments. They were able to take care of me as well as two other customers on top of shuffling deliveries. I have read only good things about Luna Cycle and my experience was quite the opposite and I am shocked. I emailed the support team on 8/3/20 and asked if they had any cancellations for the Enduro X-1 that would be delivered at the end of August. I received an email back from Luna on 8/4/20 saying they did and to hurry to purchase. There were some available online, so I bought it 30 minutes after I received the email from Luna. I then emailed back, and they said the bike would be delivered the 3rd week of August. The 3rd week of August came and received an email on 8/19/20 saying the bikes were stuck in customs and it will be another two weeks. Why are they informing me the week the bike is supposed to ship that they do not have it? Then twoish weeks later 8/28/20 I received an email saying they have a bike for me and that it will be sent out for delivery "soon". That was good to hear but still at least three weeks longer than what Luna promised initially. At this point I was suspicious of why it was taking so long but excited that my bike would be arriving soon! By the 2nd week of September, I had not heard anything from Luna. On 9/11/20 I called and spoke to their rep. He did not "know anything" and could not give me much info on what was going on with my bike. He did tell me however that my bike was not listed as part of the previous order, the August order I was told in writing that I was a part of, but was part of the next order delivering at the end of October. I wanted to speak to his manager and the rep told me the manager does not take any calls and only deals through email. I was not happy that they had strung me along telling me my bike would be delivered on multiple occasions and making false promises. It would have been different if they owned up to their mistake at first instead of lying to me. I had several trips planned throughout this time period from 8/4/20 to 9/20/20 and not having the bike cost me lots of money in rentals. I also planned to ride to work so this is weeks and weeks of gas money that I am out as well as hours and hours of investigating what happened to my bike and having to email instead of speaking on the phone. I emailed Gary, the manager, and explained what happened and he blamed it on me saying I should know that the time frames of bike delivery are only estimates. Even though they were the ones who gave me the time frames not to mention he is trying to blame ME for THEIR mistakes. We had weeks of back and forth emails, they do not always respond promptly. I asked for some sort of compensation for this and they would ignore it in the emails. I am out thousands of dollars and many hours of time. A fair compensation is justified. It is surprising to be treated this way as this company has many great reviews on their product and customer service. On 9/17/20 they emailed me and said they "found" a bike, but they didn't have the silent motor upgrade I ordered and wanted to ship it to me without the upgrade. They then shipped it without any other communication from them. I couldn't respond because I was on a trip (I needed my bike for) and they shipped it anyways. After emailing back they responded that they had the part and installed it. I received the bike on 9/23/20 and it looked complete. When I was putting it together one of the pedals would not screw on. They had put two left crank arms on the bike. The right pedal would not screw onto the left crank, obviously. On 9/24/20 I emailed again with pictures and asked for prompt shipping for the right crank arm. I received the crank arm on 10/2/20 so now I can finally test drive it. My experience with Luna Cycle was handled with poor customer service, lies and excuses. I am disappointed in this company based on the good reputation they have online because they treated me with disrespect, lies and are not willing to give me a fair reimbursement.
