    Bikes for daze!
    Sy S.

Cole and Blake are the dynamic duo of e-bikes--think Batman and Robin, but with more torque and better customer service. We've bought multiple bikes from them, and every time, they manage to outdo themselves. Seriously, I think they might be wizards or time travelers because they always know exactly what we need before we do. Not only do they make the whole process effortless, but they also make it fun. These guys don't just sell bikes--they curate experiences. Need advice on which model suits your lifestyle? They've got you. Want to test ride and feel the wind in your hair like you're in an action movie? They'll hook you up. Have a weirdly specific question about tire pressure or battery range? They'll answer it without making you feel like you just asked them to explain quantum physics. It's no surprise that everyone in El Segundo loves them. You can't walk five feet without spotting someone cruising on an e-bike they got from Cole and Blake. It's basically a rite of passage around here. Thinking about getting another one already--partly because their bikes are awesome and partly because I just like hanging out with these guys. If you're even thinking about an e-bike, do yourself a favor and go see them. Tell them I sent you... or don't, they already know everyone.

Purchased both bikes there! Kids love them.

We love them! They know bikes! Would be nice if it was less expensive. lol. But you get what you pay for.

BUYERS BEWARE! Do your research before visiting E Ryde, no one here actually knows what they are talking about! Specs on certain models, safety certifications, street laws for certain bikes so on and so on... There isn't any perk to buying here vs straight from the manufacturers bike website so SHOP AROUND, there are plenty of other small bike shops that would love to earn your business with knowledge, free assembly and competitive pricing.

(to give you a visual) womp, womp. Jake assessed the "project" to determine that it wasn't fit for me to ride, which made me feel safe that I was in good hands as he was looking out for my well-being - LOVE THAT! Love you, Jake!!! You're my boy blue. The repairs were costly at first, and he made it work within my budget. Full transparency (asking questions) and good communication go a long way and keep the peace (note to everyone). I am soooo beyond grateful that he knew what was needed and took care of it all within just two days! Attentive, fast, and thorough - calling to share updates along the way. (No one likes financial surprises, so that was kind on my wallet). Also, upon pickup, Kevin noticed my seat was too low and hiked it up to the height that was appropriate for my leg/knee length - thank you, Kevin! 5 stars and 5 snaps! If your bike is broken... this is where you go without a doubt. You're welcome. Thanks again, Jake & Kevin!

Back on July 3rd, 2026 I went into this bike shop expecting a meh experience from reading other…read morereviews about the employees at this location, but my experience with Art was great. I was in the ballpark of knowing what sort of e-bike to get (tech-spec wise), but wanted it within a certain budget range, which was out of scope for my knowledge. Art helped me pick and choose what bike options I had within their inventory. Ultimately I took up on his decision on getting a Mangosteen e-bike. Art's recommendations and advice was the best to understand and good to know. If you end up working with Art, He'd hook you up. Store Pros: A LOT of e-bikes to choose from. They had a much bigger inventory than expected, since from the outside the store looks small. You'll most likely find something you'd like here. Accessories are readily available in-store as well. If you need a new bike lock, helmet, or maintenance parts (brake pads, and other misc. parts), they will be readily available in-store. Store Cons: While the store had a great inventory to look and choose from, it was more on the pricier side. Again, It's subjective per person, but from what I remember from browsing around, most e-bikes in this location start from $1,250+. While there are some affordable e-bikes in this location, the starting price might deter budget-friendly buyers from this location. Due note: the upside to these higher prices is that the bikes come pre-assembled, and labor fees are NOT included when buying the bike. That's a plus in my book. Only one employee may be available at a time. No shade to Art (more than anything go to him before anyone else.). Since there's typically one person on the floor to help customers out, there may be a chance of long wait times if the employee is helping someone else out in the store. If you're an impatient person, this will be a red flag to you. For anyone else that is patient, It's worth the wait. Overall: I'll definitely be coming back to this shop for bike-related maintenance, questions, and possibly buy more bikes in the future if need be. But depending on who you're with, your experience may vary. I can happily vouch for Art, His work and commitment on helping me out has been outstanding.

After waiting two weeks, I received a text saying the bike was ready and that the total would be $89.99, including parts and labor. When I arrived to pick up the bike, I was told the price would actually remain $120 because they had to order "special oil." I was confused since their text clearly stated $89.99 including parts and labor. I also mentioned that I appeared to have been double-charged and tried to show the owner the charge on his phone. He refused to look, checked his computer, and said it showed only one charge and told me to contact my credit card company. Later that day, my son rode his bike and came home after about an hour saying his rear brake wasn't working. He had to slam on his front brake to stop and ended up crashing. He came home with a bruised and scraped knee and a sprained wrist that now requires him to wear a brace for a month. I immediately called the shop and was told to bring the bike back in. The owner said the issue was a "glazed rotor" and that we needed a new rotor. I declined the additional service. What's concerning is that the bike was returned to us with a rear brake that did not function properly. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner accused my son of doing wheelies, which is simply not the case. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The pricing was inconsistent, concerns about billing were dismissed, and most importantly, the bike was returned in an unsafe condition. I would strongly recommend others double-check their work before riding
