The restaurant is cute and modern, with Instagramable aesthetics and food presentation - and food was delicious. However, the service really put an unmendable experience. Expect a hour and a half from the time you get an order in till it served to the table (not including drinks and appetizers wait time), for holiday. Unfortunately we had terrible service, our waitress was so forgetful and kept passing blame to the kitchen staff; even though we witness our food on the counter under the heat lamp for 20 minutes. When asked to speak to the manager for the food waiting on the counter, the manager came but didn't address nor acknowledge the issue, just served our food. When we got the check the waitress disrespectfully stated that we would've have the same experience in every restaurant because of the holiday. I can honestly say this might be one of the best restaurants I've been to in the U.S.. Luna completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment you walk in, the interior design is stunning. The space has beautiful boho-modern vibes with so many thoughtful details. It feels cozy and comfortable, and the layout is really well done. Instead of one big loud room, the restaurant is divided into different areas, which makes it feel more intimate and keeps the noise level low. The menu was another great surprise with so many amazing options. We ordered tacos and they were absolutely incredible -- easily some of the best Mexican food I've had. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced. The service was also amazing. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, helped me with my food choices, and had no problem adjusting my order when I wanted to change the type of meat. That level of friendliness and flexibility made the experience even better. What impressed me most is that this place truly hits all the points: atmosphere, food, service, and price-value. Nice casual and well decorated spot with Mexican and Asian fusion food. I highly recommend their ceviche. It's great for sharing and has a really nice heat to it. Perfect for warm days and the layers of veg, shrimp and crispy and raw onions, and more was addicting. The wings are substantial got 8 pieces in the order and it comes with grilled green onion and jalapenos. Surprisingly the jalapenos also have a good kick to it. The wings themselves were crispy and well cooked, flavor wise nothing stood out, but a nice app to share with the table. I liked the contents of the traditional salad which is pretty much their take on a Waldorf. This was light and for $13 given the portions was actually a nice value. You can add protein for $5 more with grilled chicken or shrimp but I kept mine plain. I was a little worried about the way they cut the apple if it would be easy to eat, but didn't have any issues once you mix everything in. My one note is the salad was a little overdressed and this is coming from someone who loves a lot of dressing. But I enjoyed it overall and ate the whole thing. This is a great place to grab drinks and enjoy the music and decor without breaking your wallet. I definitely would try it again. read more

Luna is definitely a place that does no wrong and everything right! We had the Ceviche Asiático as a started. My husband and I had the Steak Al Sur and Steak Al Norte as our main courses. The food was fantastic! The service was amazing! Our waiter Javier was so attentive and engaging. He really made our experience and even made me a special mocktail which was delicious to say the least. I had a cappuccino to end our meal and it did not disappoint. The design of the restaurant is so beautiful and airy! We loved the pathos hanging from the ceiling, so pretty! Overall, 10/10! We look forward to returning for breakfast/brunch. The place is really small and the tables seemed a little crammed for the size of the plates they serve. It does have this "first date" vibe. The food is ok. I think the plate I chose was too spicy. I was so pleased at Luna. They have multiple items. Coffee. Tacos. Pasta. Our server (a very sweet man) told us they own the entire block and they have started work for the Cafe portion in the old Porkchop and Bubbas. We ordered coffee - i got the coco rocks which was a delicious cold brew with vanilla and soft top with cocoa puffs to garnish. Delicious. My son got the simply vanilla. We were impressed and we will be back to try the wonderful cocktails and entrees. Prices seem to be in the $20 dollar range the food looks good. I will be back at Luna. I really wanted to love this place, but first impressions are huge and the experience was not impressive. My office staff goes to lunch for special occasions. We ALWAYS call for reservations because we are a party of 11 and want to make sure the place can handle that sized party and are prepared. We called last week and made a reservation. When we arrived the guy said there was no reservation. He irritated me a little bit when he asked me "what day did you call?" Because I didn't make the reservation, our receptionist did, I said "I don't know Monday or Tuesday last week." He said "we're not open on Mondays"... like I was lying or something. We NEVER go anywhere with our party of 11 without making a reservation! Anyway, it is a small place so there weren't many places to sit a large party. We were asked if we wanted to wait for a large party to finish (they weren't even half way through) or we could sit on patio. That was the only way they could accommodate. We chose the patio because we were all there already. A party of 8 came in right behind us. The patio tables were dirty and not because it was windy outside. They were sticky and looked like they had not been wiped down. We waited a very long time for anyone to come take care of us. I noticed the party of 8 that came in after us, already had waters. We finally had someone bring us water and take our drink orders. We had been there maybe 15 minutes when a party of 3 sat outside on the patio as well. We ordered appetizers. The sliders were amazing!! I would definitely order these again. We also ordered the chicken wings. They were ok. I wouldn't order them again. We placed our lunch orders and waited and waited and waited. The party of 8 that arrived after us had already received their food and the party of 3 that got there 15 minutes after us had finished their food before we finally started to get our orders. We had been waiting over an hour. We received 7 of our meals. We waited for the others to get theirs and after about 10 minutes I finally went and told the waiter that we were still missing 4 orders. The kitchen and staff were doing some sort of photo shoot apparently. He said yeah, we have them coming.... Like it was no big deal. It's a big deal when the rest of the table is waiting and their food is getting cold because it's rude to eat when others don't have their food yet!! AND we had already been waiting so long!! By the time the food arrived, 3 of us had to take our food to go because we had already been there for almost 2 hours. I had the spicy penne with chicken but was only able to eat 3 bites before I had to pack it up to go. The three bites I had were tasty, but I didn't get a chance to really try it. The inside looked cute as I walked through it to the patio. But I didn't get to enjoy the inside vibe and the whole experience didn't sit well with me. If someone there screwed up our reservation, a little more effort should have been made and at least give us decent service. Will I be back?? Not sure. read more

Luna was a lovely spot to visit for date night. It was quite busy but we were seated fairly quickly. The restaurant looks small on the outside, but once you walk in you're greeted by plenty of greenery and tables filled with guests enjoying meals and conversations. I don't drink anymore but their bar menu looked very tasty. The food menu was very appetizing as well. My boyfriend and I both ordered salads: the creamy Italian and the perfect salad. The wait for our food was kind of long, but it was dinner time so it was understandably busy. However, it seemed that the communication among staff could use some improvement as different servers approached our table to ask if we've ordered yet. This was my first sit down experience at Luna. I've ordered to-go for lunch before - but this takes the cake! I had the Pollo Luna, my usual to go order, and it was incredible! It's always incredible, but having it fresh, was so good! The chicken was packed with flavor and that sauce was so, so good (I could honestly drink it!). The potatoes were cooked perfectly -- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside -- and the asparagus was super tasty too. I also tried the Naughty Fries, and they were amazing! I have been meaning to go to this place for a long time and glad we had the chance to go here for a quick lunch during my break. The place is like a little gem tucked in at the most unassuming space. It is highly aesthetic and there is adequate parking outside. We had the Spanish shrimp and mussels as a starter which could honestly serve as a main dish by itself. Very creamy and flavorful, perfect with the toast that comes with it. Their tempura shrimp tacos were equally good. Was told it'll be a 20 minute wait and after waiting 40 minutes went in to check and was told it'll be a little longer- now we're looking at an hour wait when originally was told 20 minutes.
