Stopped for a burrito on my road trip and this was a great, quick spot! They have a drive through as well as an online order option. Small indoor area just for ordering but several tables outside if you'd like to dine there. The bathroom is located in the back of the drive through, through the back door. I tried the asada burrito and my boyfriend had the chicken burrito. The spicy red salsa was my favorite. Food was good, nothing crazy but it was a solid option for a quick bite. read more

Taco bros I normally good but the last 3 times has been not so good. I'm going to stop getting the pasta. The portions have gotten smaller and the price has gone up. The last 2 times I haven't gotten any chicken in my chicken pasta. I went last night and told them about my last 2 experiences and asked if they could actually put chicken in my pasta. They acted like I was crazy and said they would. WOW a whole 4 small bite size pieces. Smh. I'm not going back unless they make this right. I feel I deserve a pasta plate with chicken on the house. This time I had the Birria Tacos with two servings of refried beans. Counting the tip, it cost around $13. Well worth it. The service here is always great. The workers are smiling and cheerful. There is a little wait time because they are so busy. There is no inside dining. Outdoors only, but there is a drive through. If you sit at the tables outside, it is quite peaceful. The only problem is the traffic racing down Ming Avenue. All in all, Taco Bros is great. Do I recommend it, Heck Yeah. Did it again. Came back to my favorite taco place. I wasn't going to do this but because there was no real resolution other than getting a $100 gift card from the same restaurant (which I obviously gave away and never going back) and the manager, who's name I forgot since it's been since NYE. Manager denied having anyone on the job that night wearing a wrist or elbow band and never called me back. Terrible experience as I literally chewed on it and almost swallowed it. DISGUSTING. I've been surprised by them several times. I've tried many different things and really enjoyed them. I've done. The drive-through and the service has been pretty quick. The chicken Panini was very good as well as their spicy chicken sandwich. I haven't ever been inside so I don't know the atmosphere in there, but I would recommend them if you need a quick bite read more

This review is definitely long overdue. We've been here numerous times now, when we first visited Taco Bros a little bit ago it was when they were located downtown. I believe in my own opinion that they have one of the best biria in town. They don't only have biria though, so don't shy away from their other stuff. Prices are not too bad. What is the reason why we visit this place frequently? Because they have a drive-thru and it's easy for us people that's on the go. The downside of using the drive-thru during lunch and dinner rush is the long lines. If you follow them on instagram they have deals/offers sometimes, so follow them if you're a fan of their food so you can stay informed. Their food always stays consistent and their breakfast burritos is probably one of the cheapest in town. I've never ordered anything here that I didn't like. Staff is usually pretty friendly. The restaurant inside always looks clean and even the seating outside is usually pretty clean. read more

Ordered at about 9:45ish in the drive thru, there wasn't anyone in front of me & I don't think there was anyone inside either. It literally took about 15 minutes to receive my order. I order chicken Alfredo with an extra order of bread. I feel like they even forgot that I was in the drive thru because the lady at the window after almost 10 minutes came and had a confused look on her face thinking I was the next order in drive thru to pay. At this point I still hadn't received my food. When I finally did get my food, I asked the girl why it took so long( previous times I went if it wasn't busy in the drive thru it took like 5 minutes) she said it was because they make the food to order. I said it takes that long to make the pasta? She said yeah that they don't hold anything. 15 minutes to make a chicken Alfredo & toast the bread? I'd understand if I went in to dine in, but for drive thru? I mentioned to her about coming before & not waiting that long & that there wasn't anyone in front of me & she just said sorry about that. Then I said okay well thank you & she just shut the window. I didn't catch her name, I just know she had like burgundy colored hair, because the cashier's name on my receipt is a guys name, but I think maybe the customer service could have been a bit better. Restaurant parking is right by the drive thru, I missed it when I arrived to pick up my order. There isn't any indoor seating, so if you're going be aware the seating is outside. The restaurant itself is small. Staff were friendly and greeted me immediately. They were very busy when I arrived at lunch time but my order was ready quickly and was correct. The food was good. It was fresh and the fires were seasoned well and crispy. I ordered an horchata, which was okay. It didn't taste homemade but it wasn't terrible. My carne asada torta was good, basic it wasn't anything extraordinary. I'll probably try something else next time I go, everyone at work was raving about them when they were downtown, so maybe I need to branch out and try the tacos, or pasta. read more

I've never ever had a poor experience ordering from my favorite restaurant until today. We ordered door dash. A simple chicken Alfredo with a spinach dip with bread. The chicken alfredo was bomb, as per usual... but what arrived didn't look anything like what door dash had listed. The spinach dip was supposed 5o come with bread, it came with stale old chips. The spinach dip was red & very tomato based spinach dip. It was very good but not what we expected. The birria tacos alone were pretty good but the fact that you can find something this good in a drive through gives this place 5 stars. The service was friendly, too. Update! I still love me some taco bros. I truly feel that they have the BEST breakfast burrito in town. The price is killer too! I love their asada, chicken and cauliflower. On the West side of Ming Ave, South of Vallhalla there's a block that resembles 18th street: two taco restaurants side by side. But in addition to excellent tacos, burritos, and birria, Taco Bros also serves wonderful pasta dishes. My son and I dug into chips and spicy bean dip. It was indeed spicy, cheesy, and obviously made in house! We also sampled the spicy chicken penne (my lovely wife got in on this too!)which was fresh, had a great blend of fresh herbs, garlic, and sun-dried tomatoes with a creamy, spicy but not too spicy, sauce. It was better (and 30% less expensive) than anything from either of the chain Italian restaurants in town (which we've been to plenty of times)! Delicious! My son had the asada burrito with refried beans which he loved. My wife said her shrimp tacos were the best, and I thoroughly enjoyed the birria plate. We have lots of leftovers! The only things that are gone are the delicious pineapple agua frescas I ordered. Definitely made in house - not syrupy, but just sweet enough. The star of the show, though, are the people behind the counter. All three of them I interacted with were friendly and just nice. But Chef Alanito stole. the. show!! He was excited about his food (with good reason) and loved spoiling the customers who walked in to order to go. One Dad and his young son (maybe 7?) walked in. For what I got, the meal was over priced and the refried beans were watered down. Lastly, I had to pay for pico diguayo, which is usually Free at the majority of Mexican Fast Food Restaurants.
