Recently went with my family to brunch and the service was bad. It took forever for the food to come out. We were pretty much the only people in the restaurant. We went on a Saturdays when they first open. Not sure if they were not prepare or what. Also I was charge twice after clearly the first charge went through and I showed the "manager" Elizabeth and our server. It's been almost a week now and it seems they do not want to refund me back for the second charge so now i have to contact my bank. I came with a party of 8 people on a weekday evening for dinner. It wasn't very busy, so we were able to get our food relatively quickly. The interior is very beautiful and cozy. I ordered the Bad Girl drink which was very sweet and fruity. I got the Jeffe skillet which was delicious - I loved the wide variety of meats I got to try, and the corn was amazing. The ribeye vampiro tacos were some of the best tacos I've had in a long time. The salsa that came with it was very smokey and a bit too spicy for my taste, but my husband loved it on his Arrachera steak. We were both very happy with our entrees, and with the Chicharron de pork belly appetizer. The decor was very nicely done, and my only issue with the ambiance was the volume of the music was a bit loud for my old ass. My sister and our girls were shopping at the mall and decided to eat there. My sister has been there several times and this was my first time there. It was definitely a cute restaurant and had a romantic atmosphere. We asked to split our check before ordering and we were told we couldn't (our party was small two adults, two children and an infant) so we didn't understand why not. We had to simplify what 3 plus 2 equaled and then she understood and changed the receipt after arguing and asking the person who brought out the food how many he brought out, he ensured her we were correct. All of enchilada plates were luke warm which is always a disappointment. We may try again but I feel like at the price point we should at least be served warm food. My cousin, my sister, and I tried multiple times to get the bartender's attention at the bar, but we were completely ignored. After several attempts, we decided to sit at a table hoping a server would come by, but even then, the server walked right past us to serve the table next to us without acknowledging us. My sister was still at the bar trying to order a drink, but after waiting so long and being ignored, I told her to forget it and that we would go somewhere else. The buffet stand is also on the west side so there's less options then I though but they have chicken fajitas so I go there much more flavored. Got two servings of potato most of them are hard not fluffy and really enjoyable. There were pancakes and waffles but they appear to have been sitting on their stand for a long time so those aren't appealing. By the taco and I don't even know what the other stand is since there's another lady who's on her phone she told me to ask waiter for omelet waiter never came to see if I needed anything. Occupancy of this restaurant is a bit more than a quarter full after 1pm which is when I came...So there's no excuse. Manager came by and said it was an oversight that normally doesn't happen. Too full by the time she came by so unfortunately no room for omelet Seafood cost extra not included in buffet. If you're looking for a quieter area inside this restaurant avoid the corners they have speakers that'll drown out your voices and the waiters voice. So this Sunday is the third time they hosted this buffet. On the desert stand they had fruit salad some fresh fruit different salsa and onions and cilantro for tacos. Have flan and they used to have some sort of dessert bread didn't see it on my visit. Now thinking about it they gave me plain tacos and didn't offer toppings at the taco station.
