My mans homie suggested us to go here and man, it didn't disappoint at all. The owners daughter took our order and was very welcome and helpful with our questions. She gave some really good recommendations (what's in the photo). The food was absolutely delicious. Nothing was over salted or over/under cooked. Everything was very light, not super greasy. Everything my man and I wanted for lunch. The food came out quick, and was presented very neatly. The ambiance was very chill, you could definitely study there if you wanted to (at least the around 1pm). A favorite hometown spot to grab lunch downtown. The atmosphere is friendly and the vibe is local. I met a friend for lunch. He is vegetarian and they were happy to accommodate his preferences. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. The portions are very good. They brought our food to the table promptly. We had met to catch up. The noise level at lunch is moderate to high and it was sometimes difficult to hear. That's more on my aging ears, I think. Overall this is a very good place to grab a quick bite. This is such a cute little find! Honestly it was not what me and the hubs were expecting at all! It's kind of like a tiny food hall with a coffee shop and then the downtown grill. The staff is super friendly and the establishment is set up super cute and very clean! The service is spot on. We would definitely come back here the next time we come back to town. I found this place when I popped into 502 to grab some coffee. I'm always down for a good breakfast burrito and this place had one on the menu with chorizo, potatoes, eggs, and cheese. The place does more than just breakfast and a lot of people working in the area were in and out picking up orders and taking them to go so the place must be busy. I took my burrito to go and it was still nice and hot when I got home. It was a pretty good burrito just like how I want my breakfast burritos to be. The chorizo is beef chorizo, and the potatoes are hashbrowns that are chopped up and mixed with everything. The eggs were fluffy and there was melted cheese and salsa. All stuffed into a yummy soft flour tortilla. The burrito was just around $10. And it was a pretty good size unlike others that come in a regular size tortilla. I definitely want to go back to this place the next time I get a break from work in the early morning hours. I didnt know i needed these tacos in my life! Located inside the building they serve breakfast sandwiches, burritos, tacos, burgers and sandwiches. Ordered the keto tacos which has crusty cheese for the shell. I would order 14 right this minute but you need to eat them asap. Delicious. I ordered the street taco with potatoes and I didnt like the greasy outer shell loved the potato filling. Prices for some are reasonable and some i thought a little high but that is subjective. Locally owned lunch and breakfast area. All home made and fresh. The food is made to each order and totally customizable. The taste is fresh and not greasy . The pastrami fries were lean and supper yummy. I would have liked some type of sauce to go with it. The burger was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Fresh avocado and bacon and lettuce. The meat was not greasy or grisly. Everything about this place was delicious. The ambiance is open floor. Enjoyed this place more than I thought I would! Looking at the menu I did kind of think that it was more on the expensive side, but it ended up being quite worth it! I go to Bakersfield for my tattoo removal sessions and we got there a bit early today so I decided to have a bite to eat and chose this little hole in the wall. First of all it's a bit hard to find since it's in the center of so many buildings but once inside there is plenty of seating and the restaurant is split with a coffee/tea bar. There's was some comfortable couch seats that we ate on. Quesabirria tacos were delicious good amount of meat in them, my favorite was the birria taco without cheese it had so much flavor and you could taste the broth which each bite. Pastrami fries I highly recommend as they were amazing. Customer service was great the gentleman working brought the food over to us and also gave us a side of lemon and jalapeños to enjoy with our meal, he was friendly! The biggest draw for me to make the trip and pay a little more for a burger from a small business is the shoestring fries. They are always seasoned, the right amount of crispy, and plentiful! But this time I opened my to go box and was taken aback! These were not the fries I traveled for. I cannot justify making a little trip for (don't make me say it) steak fries! The Spot...My Spot. It's the Spot you need to go to. It is hidden inside the build, you won't see the store front. They've increased seating. The food is always good. My husband and I meet here for lunch when we are in office because it's centrally located. Parking can be a bummer. I make him take his lunch at 11 am so I don't have to deal with it. My partner loves the soy chorizo burrito from here so she has had it like 5 times lol the service is always great. Today I decided to order the steak breakfast burrito and it was delicious. I got full with half of it. I kept hearing about the burgers here so I had to try it. It's just a little lunch counter where you place your order, which was quick. The special happen to be a bacon cheeseburger so I ordered the special. Oh my goodness! So good! Fresh, juicy, tasty, with all the right toppings! I came here for the first time and tried their potato tacos I've got to say this is without a doubt the best potato taco I've had probably ever. Legitimately the best breakfast burritos in town. They open at 7 am which helps those of us that need to get to work by 8. The burritos are packed with meat/egg combos and aren't greasy, which is my issue at a few other choice places. Favs are the Padre (steak/onions & peppers), Pastrami (name says it all), and my preferred burrito, the Trio (bacon, ham, sausage). Add a side of salsa plus salsa inside and it's a hefty burrito at a killer price. (All around 10 bucks). Chilaquiles also top notch. Haven't had lunch here but frequently hit up the pizza food truck that's outside 2nd Phase Brewery on Wednesday. The food at My Spot is surprisingly reasonable and really high quality. read more
