    Good Mexican food cheap!
    Jesus B.

This has become a staple with my wife and our friend group. In a time where everywhere you go, tacos are 2-3$ a pop. Los Salsas still has a killer deal on tacos on Tuesday. There are other places in town where they are cheaper, but just ok. Los Salsas is BOMB and still cheap. $1.68 on Tuesdays. Or you can opt for 3 tacos and a beer for like 7$ The prices are amazing. The service is great , the manager is fun and the food is tasty. Their carnitas are heaven , chicken breast is juicy and tender. Their asada is ok. Not as good as the others I mentioned. Grab some friends, get tacos, and beers. They also have a pretty great happy hour.

Hidden gem! The restaurant looks very festive and the music shades that vibe. It's like being transported! They offer chips and two kinds of salsa to get you going. If you love them don't be afraid to ask for more! Really enjoyed the food here. You know it legit when you have Tia on the side making tortillas. Ordered an adobada chimichanga and a carne asada wet burrito. Adobada is 100% the way to go if you're feeling beef. Imagine having elevated asada. Isn't spicy but awesome flavor. The wet burrito just might be the most visually appealing wet burrito I have ever seen. Very generous portions, won't leave you hungry!

The hubby was craving a burrito and this is where he wanted to go. I use to like this place but over the last couple of years I noticed a change to their food. It just doesn't taste as good as it used to so I stopped going. We got there around 6 pm and the place was packed! It's small anyway but every single table was in use. Thank goodness we wanted to take his burrito to go. We made our way to the back and were told by a server that she would' be with us shortly. Well we waited....and waited....and waited. She walked past us, going back and forth to tables and checking on them, making fresh drinks, checking on food but she never acknowledged us again...for about 8 more minutes. Now, I understand that the place was packed and my issue is not with her helping the other customers...my issue is with the fact that she never spoke to us again and continued to walk around us, asked us to move so she could get by, but never took our order. It would still have taken some time for our order to be cooked so all I wanted was for her to take the order so it could get started. As it stood, we wouldn't have even been able to wait for the food in the restaurant. Every customer is important and she should have made us feel that way and we did not, so we left after about 10 minutes of being ignored. I will never eat here again. Their customer service is horrible!

    Trio Fajitas virtually no meat

I'm not sure where to begin with this place. Our party of six was seated quickly, and our server was very sweet. The atmosphere was pleasant and the prices seemed reasonable. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with both the service and the quality of the food we received. My order was incorrect, and when I pointed it out, the staff attempted to insist it was the correct dish--even though the picture on the menu clearly showed something different from what I had ordered. The manager was very rude and unprofessional, raising her voice at us despite the fact that five out of six orders were incorrect. My spouse ordered a chile verde burrito. When we opened it, it was almost entirely filled with rice and beans, and we found only one small piece of meat. After taking it back, the manager returned claiming she "counted six pieces of meat" and insisted we still had to pay for the item, even though we had sent it back. The fajitas had virtually no meat and were mostly vegetables. In total, we spent nearly $130 and only one person in our group was able to eat their meal. We will not be returning, and we do not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a quality Mexican dining experience.

    Shrimp fajitas

I had the shrimp fajitas. They were dynamite, the beans and rice were great, service was TERRIFIC!!

We were seated right away. This place is small and definitely gets packed on Sundays. The atmosphere gives Plazita Olveras vibes. It's festive and Mexican inspired for sure. The staff was friendly and on it. Drink & chip refills in a timely manner. The food was authentic. Very delicious. The wait time was minimal. They make homemade tortillas, flour & corn and bring you butter with every little batch. Delicious. It's a "hole in the wall" but superb place to eat. Till be going back to try every item on the menu, it all looked sooooo delicious!

Take out tacos, Al Pastor, no toppings. Delicious

This review is long overdue, Tacos Las Salsas has my absolute favorite for Al pastor tacos. Outside of Mexico City and the random trucks in LA that I come across every once in a while, Las Salsa is always amazing and consistent. I've been coming here for years, living back and forth in San Francisco and this is better than any spot in SF. The Salsas are delicious, all of them. red, green and the pico de gallo *chefs kiss* don't over do it on the chips though save room for tacos. - taco salad is huge and very filling - worth the value - also one of my favorite horchatas in town The service is always friendly, sometimes the restaurant gets busy but it's worth the wait. It's quaint with a decent amount of seating, smaller restaurant but big flavor. I may have been gate keeping how much I love this place, and some may argue me but its the best in town. I was back Tuesday night and it was just as amazing as all the other times. so to me it's the best and my favorite spot for Al pastor tacos. *Big Tacos Las Salsas Fan

Las Salsas never fails to not only fill us up but for a good price. The food is always made to order with love and care. The service is wonderful we never had to look for someone to fill our drinks or give us extra napkins. The environment is beautifully decorated with Mexican revolutionary zappata. I really enjoy the home feel when walking into this restaurant. Thank you for having a place we can call home.

The Dish: I went with the pumpkin pancakes topped with pecan butter, plus a side of bacon. Fun fact: this exact dish was actually featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives! The Flavor Profile: To say these pumpkin pancakes were good is an understatement, they were absolutely to die for. As the pecan butter melted over the top, it created the perfect rich sauce, and the crunchy pecan bits scattered throughout the pancakes gave every single bite an amazing texture. Eating this felt exactly like a cozy October morning. The Verdict: Between the perfect diner nostalgia and those incredible pancakes, this breakfast was a total home run. If you're looking for ultimate comfort food that lives up to the TV hype, this place is a must-visit!

Our waiter spilled an entire tray of iced teas and waters next to/on us, and then left to change his apron and serve other tables while we sat dripping and ignored for nearly 15 mins until I had to flag someone down to help us clean because my shoes were soaked through and the liquid river continued under our table (he handed me a few napkins until I insisted on an actual mop, which he obliged with an audible sigh). Someone finally put down a wet floor sign, and considering all the elderly diners they didn't seem concerned about the giant puddle in the walkway that went ignored. I don't care about the spill, but just apologize and clean up - don't disappear and then come back only to announce that you're going on break. We finally got another server to take our order, but it was such an odd "we don't like non-locals" vibe that we ate quickly and got outta there. We pass through Bakersfield often during road trips, but will skip this next time.
