I seriously couldn't have been happier with my experience here. I'm not from the area but I was visiting family and in my yoga class a couple days before, I ripped a hole in my leggings! Too crunched on time I figured I'd just go to the one here in town. I walked in and was looking at all the leggings and Mia came right up to me super outgoing and ready to help me. I was a little scatter brained because what I wanted didn't seem to be available or familiar. She explained every pant I was interested in and the differences. She went over fabric changes from what I have to what I was about to buy. She started a dressing room for me and was so attentive on making sure they fit well. Seriously couldn't have been nicer. Then, after buying a size 4, as I was putting my receipt in the bag I realized that the last pair of leggings I bought were a 4 and I was 30lbs heavier that I am now. So I asked her to get me a 2 and swap them out, feeling so bad as we had just finished the transaction. She easily switched them out and literally made me feel so at ease. Mia - you are awesome and made my experience so memorable! You set the bar high for my future Lulu lemon experiences from this point on. read more

I've been back to this Lulu since they changed locations and have had much better luck. The last time I was there a few months ago, this runner gal -- like me, not skinny but definitely athletic -- was super helpful and found me some great running gear. The mean lady I wrote about in my first review was nowhere to be found, which was a major relief, because I couldn't even walk by the store for months after my initial experience there. Oh, and to the "tall and thin" reviewer who suggested that overweight/disgruntled reviewers were "projecting their insecurities" by complaining about a particularly unkind employee or limited sizing: give me a break! When I had that negative experience, I was deciding between a size 6 and 8 pant. I'm 5'9". She basically called me fat in front of other customers. Is that me being insecure and projecting or her being a rude sales person? Nobody, overweight or not, deserves to be body shamed in a fitness clothing store. Only three stars today because I'm a bit leery of buying stuff at Lulu anymore; the quality seems to be declining steadily. I hope Lulu gets back on track! Fantastic experience here! Greeted at the door by a nice male employee (beard) very helpful. I know nothing about Lululemons my daughter showed him the pic on her phone of what she wanted off to the dressing room she went he explained about how they should fit. I ended up spending twice as much as I had planned as the customer service was outstanding,. I promised my daughter if she got her grades up I would buy her some Lululemons. I've been in this store a few times and the customer service is different every time. The first time i walked in there the workers were NOT friendly and did not seem to want to help me, maybe because i looked young. They probably thought that I wouldn't buy anything. I just think they need to treat all their customers the same, you can't tell who is going to buy something or not so why judge people solely on looks. When I was in line to buy something the cashier was very friendly though so it sort of balanced out the other rude employees. The last time I was in there the employees were very friendly and willing to help me find sizes and different styles. I was very happy walking out of the store that time. It's fun to just browse this store. It's like Abercrombie & Fitch for grownups in that they must only hire people to work there that provide "eye candy". Add to that the fact that they use some secret "space-age polymers" to manufacture their clothes so anyone wearing them looks fit and hot. No wonder their stock went up so much. I'm no lululemon fanatic, but on any given day you will probably find me in a pair of yoga pants from lululemon, as well as a lululemon hoodie and lululemon bag. Ok maybe I'm a little bit of a fanatic. But can't I love good fashion and well-made clothing? I love that their pants feel so comfortable and fit so it hugs your body just right. It's great for exercise, sitting at home, running errands! So happy I picked up my first pair 8 years ago and that one is still going strong. They built their stuff to last, and their proprietary luon is great. Don't expect to find deals though. They don't really do sales. Try their stuff at their outlet store but it may or may have the styles you're looking for. Best thing to do is just buy an item in the store when you see it because things do sell out, and the company has a quick cycle of retiring items and stopping production. There is a black market on ebay, but again, you may or may not find the styles you like, and often things are actually marked UP on ebay because sellers know you cannot find the item from lululemon directly anymore. If you're ready to hate on the $118 price tag for a pair of exercise pants, you've probably never tried them on. Go try it and take a good look at your backside. Your opinion will change. This store is bigger than the one in downtown, but I noticed the dressing rooms in every lululemon is always covered in dust bunnies. What's up with that? Is there no sweeping? read more

I am addicted to lululemon products! Some of the most comfortable and stylish athletic apparel I have ever purchased. The sales people are SO helpful in helping you find the perfect product to fit your needs. Their pants are the only ones I have tried that are swen and seamed in such a way that they don't chafe and are super comfortable! I bought a pair of panties the other day for the first time and am in love with them! Will definitley be back to get more. I love love love this store. I teach Yoga full time and what can I say? Lulu's stuff is expensive, but it's well designed and it really is the best Yoga gear out there. It's not like any of us complain about the cost of the right gear for climbing or skiing, right? I've never had something from Lulu wear out or fade on me-NEVER-and I wash and wear my Yoga clothes every day. I also love the corporate culture: they really support and get involved with the Yoga community in Seattle. I can't say enough about the quality of the product or the people that work here. I have gone into Lululemon twice, and one experience I would rate 5 stars (my first) and the other I would rate 3 stars. So, an average of 4! My first experience (5 stars) I went in, and I was pretty reluctant. I had heard that the stores were pretty size-ist, and I thought I was around a 12. I found that the sales staff that day was actually SUPER friendly, and I ended up buying more than I planned on. I went in on Monday, 9/9/13, and I was looking at some of the crops that I'd seen online. All I'd heard is that the basic Wunder Unders were awesome, so I grabbed a 12 to try on. One of the guys on the sales floor came over and asked a couple questions about what I was looking for. He helped me find a couple of tops and crops, and then sent me over to this super bubbly girl working the dressing room (I wish I could remember her name, I would call her manager with compliments in a heartbeat! Next time I see her!). She helped me figure out that 12 was too big, and put me in size 8's and 10's. We also found that the styles I had grabbed weren't really doing it for me, but she found me some of their Cool Racer Back Tanks (I bought two, and I love them! I want them in every color!) and their Wunder Under in a Luxtreme material (she told me it doesn't pick up cat hair, and I was sold!). She was just super nice and asked loads of questions about what kinds of working out I was into. Overall, I had such a great experience with this girl that I came in again on... Wednesday 9/11/13 (My 3-star experience). After my great experience just two days before, I came in and decided to look for a Sports Bra. I didn't really get much help on the floor until I'd already grabbed a few sports bras and started walking to the dressing room. This was a different dressing room attendant, and she wasn't as helpful. I tried on nearly 15 sports bras (I've been losing weight, and changing sizes, so finding the right bra&size is time-consuming!) She didn't really offer much help, short of grabbing other sizes. I ended up leaving with a bra that I kind of like, but I'd spent over $60 on. I was helped on the way out by another girl, and she helped me pick out a yoga mat (I have sweaty hands, even during not-so-hot yoga.) The Mat is AMAZING, I've used it 3 times so far, and even with sweaty hands, I can hold poses! However, I do think that I will be returning that bra and maybe trying again at Athleta. I wish someone had helped me a little bit more to find the right style. I also have pretty small shoulders, so most straps don't adjust small enough for me. Overall, I will be back. If you end up with someone helpful at the dressing rooms, you can end up with some great new clothes that you didn't know about before! If I could I would give them no stars!! Not only did they not have any sizes 10 or 12, Lulu Lemon has the poorest return policy I've ever encountered. When I buy a jacket for over $100, I expect to be completely satisfied. I and anyone I know will no longer shop there. To have such a recognizable brand and not back up its products is disgusting. Obviously there only concern is money and not customer satisfaction. They have great stuff. I buy gift certificates for all my staff for birthdays etc. however, their customer service is terrible. There store policies for returns are tighter than you'd find in most corporate box stores and staff are unfriendly at the counter when doing returns. I had such good customer service here today I felt like I need to write a review. I received a pair of pants for Christmas and never liked them so I hadn't taken the tags off. I went to the UVillage store today, JUNE 2nd. They let me exchange them for a pair of pants that were more flattering to me! They were so helpful finding me something that fit my body - I am not your average Lulu wearer (I wear a size 10/12) and were so nice, I bought another pair of pants. A-OK is a bit generous. Gorgeous store aesthetically but gee could the salespeople have any more attitude! It was late and after work and I just needed a yoga shirt that fit. I need a lot of chest support but am thin elsewhere, it's a tricky fit. Plus, I'm a single mom so I just did not have someone to watch my child while I tried on shirts. So I decided to grab a variety of styles and sizes to take home and return the ones that did not work. As I was checking out I asked about the return policy: two weeks with tags and receipt. Heck I'm not sure there will be parking at U Village in the next two weeks. Seriously, when I am paying $60 for a yoga shirt, I expect the "anytime for any reason" sort of service. Worse yet? The attitude was clearly one of disdain that I would consider taking anything back, that it was some sort of deception to use the shirt and return it. One item was on sale and she did warn me that was NOT returnable. "Not even for credit?" "Well it depends if we still stock it we might issue a credit." Huh? Might? What kind of policy is that?! My two weeks are almost up and one shirt is clearly too big so let's hope I can find a parking spot and more importantly, another salesperson! While 1-2 stars was appropriate for this visit I have encountered nice saleswomen here and I do like the clothes. Blocks, straps? Go to Amazon for 1/3 the price even with shipping! read more

Lululemon goes so far beyond being a great store. First of all, the staff is really nice...and the the whole store is cute and organized well. The fitting rooms are a well-oiled machine!!! You get right in and a staff member is always right outside to help or offer an opinion. I have really short legs... and every pair of pants comes with free hemming. (I have had every pair hemmed... they do a great job). On top of this, they have a run club (Ok I have only gone once, but let me just say that those girls are inspiring! It is free and they meet on Sundays,FYI.) And they have free classes every week. My friends and I have been a couple of times, and each class is organized/run bu a local qym. So at the end of class, they usually have passes to the gym or deals on other regular classes. I feel like this store adds a lot to the area... And by they way... yes... the clothes are not cheap. But can I just say that after buying a pair of Lulu groove pants... I got rid of about 3 or 4 crappy pants that are stretched out, faded and yucky. I would buy a nice pair of lulu pants before Nike's any day. Plus they make everyone's butt look good. Did you know that???? read more

April and Dana are so nice! I had some ebb and flow crops that were all tearing at the seams at the same spot and I've only had them for over a year. I inquired about reseaming it but they unfortunately don't do that so they offered to exchange them out. I wasn't expecting them to be able to do that so it was really awesome that they took the time to help me and didn't assume i was just trying to jip them for some new pants. Dana made sure i left with new pants that fit me right and shouldn't encounter the same problem. They didn't have the exact same pants to exchange for my other pair so April offered to credit money on a card. Both of them were really eager to help. They went above and beyond expectations and definitely made me a lifetime customer at this location. Its obvious they are confident in their product. Thank you so much ladies, you really made my day. This store has good variety of product, helpful employees, and convenient hours. More than anything: their customer service is impeccable. I've loved their products for over a decade, and recently, it's become harder for me to afford - and I had a few pieces that didn't work out, so I was hesitant to invest in more. When an employee caught wind of this, she insisted that I bring the unwanted pieces back, even though they were literally years (plural!) old - whether it was because of pilling, an unraveling seam, or simply that I mistakenly bought one fabric when I meant to buy another. Their words: "We stand by our product. Sure, sometimes there are problems, we make a lot of pants; we are happy for a chance to fix it." Additionally, they say it in a way that is genuine. Sure, around $100 is a serious chunk of cash to spend on pants, but they should last forever - and if they don't, you'll be taken care of. read more
