I love Lululemon and I have some pretty thick skin but when I went in the other day I got the worst customer service. The girl that helped me at the Bellevue square location was so rude. She told me I needed to go up two sizes. I wear a 4 in lulu and she told me I needed an 8 because I looked like an 8. I tried the 8 and they were huge... falling off. REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY: Lower than average Company or store need to improve their refund/exchange policy. If you're wearing the item when you show up at the store, it's considered a company loss if they let you exchange the item or refund you. My new dress pants (ordered online) didn't fit so I came in--right after I got them--to see if another size fit better. But because I was wearing them when I showed up at the store, I had to push for an exchange vs simply getting it. In my experience at other "cheaper stores", if the item looks brand new, it's an investment to offer great customer service, not a company loss as the rep explained. They almost lost a life-time customer, because once I like something, I keep reordering from the same brand over and over again. TIP: if you're planning to exchange or ask for a refund make sure you're not wearing the item. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Excellent The staff that works at the front are OK, the ones that work by the fitting room are more friendly. This is located inside Bellevue Square on the second floor towards the middle of the mall. The staff are super nice and not pushy. They're very helpful when you are trying things on and will grab sizes for you. The clothes are fairly expensive, but you can get alterations. I love the stylish, urban workout gear. I find they tend to have all the sizes... I was just up in Canada and Lululemon in Vancouver didn't even have as many of the styles and sizes. read more

Came into alderwood location for a specific item. Didn't have it in my size but had it on markdown in other sizes. The only two stores that had it was Bellevue and San Jose. I called Bellevue in a super busy day and they were able to help me purchase over the phone and ship it to me, AND honor the markdown that alderwood location was having although Bellevue wasn't having that markdown. Bought leggings for my daughter this morning. When we got them home, we saw that the security tag wasn't removed from the pants. So back to the mall we went to have the security tag removed. When I told the sales person that we bought the pants this morning but the tag wasn't removed, the sales man said to his co- salesman, "oh, that happened to me before." I commented that I drove home and had to return to the store, and I asked for a discount. The salesman said nothing to that but offered me a lululemon bag. I love love love this store! Yes, the prices may be high but you definitely get what you pay for. The quality is awesome, the service is amazing and they hem for free (which for short girls like me is a huge plus!). Recently, I went in with a pair of OLD leggings that were clearly well loved and had ripped along one of the seams. I went in to see if they offered repairs, and while they do not offer repairs, they offered to replace them AT NO COST! These leggings were clearly well used and I know I had them for at least 2 years, yet they just replaced them at no cost to me. I was given a gift card for lululemon. When purchasing on line, I had to remove the sticker on the back of the gift card, to pay for my order. The sticker took off the last few digits of the gift card, making it unusable. In speaking to a manager at a lululemon store and also with an online chat representative, I was told I would have to drive to the nearest store to exchange the gift card for another one. The nearest store is an hour away. Because of covid and the long drive, I had wished to buy on line. None of the representatives I spoke to were empathetic to my circumstance with their defective card. Since this happened to me, I have seen in other reviews, that this gift card system has been a problem for many other customers. I am very unimpressed with lululemon about the way they handled this situation. I do not have any interest in doing business with them after I successfully redeem my new gift card, that I will have to drive an hour to pic up! read more

They blame their lack of personnel on Covid19. If trying to return something online, you will not get the option of receiving a refund. You will receive a store gift card instead. This isn't a review of Lululemon's clothing/activewear. I love their products. If you haven't discovered flat seams yet, you are in for a treat. The problem I have is with this Lululemon store. The staff isn't the most friendly (I have been about 10 times and have not ever had a greeting from an employee upon entering or leaving the store) or the most knowledgeable. The selection isn't as great as the UVillage store but it is closer to where I live. They also offer free Sunday morning yoga. read more

Couple months ago I dropped off my legging pant to get it fixed. Couple days later I went back to pick up my pant they couldn't find it and I was pretty chill about it I told them they can called me once they found my pant. Couple days later they called and they found my pant. I told them it would take me couple weeks to go pick it up because I just moved to Walla Walla! once I go pick up the second time they couldn't find it even though I brought my receipt! I still pretty chill because I figured they must be busy and all that, But couple days ago I was in bellevue area(unexpectedly) I thought I should have stop by and check w/o receipt to check if they finally found my pant, and of course I didn't bring my receipt except my ID! It took them about 10 mins to find it, and I was all thankful for it UNTIL! one blonde lady came up to me and talk to me aggressively about how I should brought my receipt and I was giving her a hard time. I explain it to her that this is my THIRD time coming here to pick up my pant first and second time WITH my receipt they could not find it! Even though the tag name is exactly like my name on my ID just because you guys begin unorganized to each other (based on the second time they explain to me) doesn't mean you can put all your anger on my FACE! After giving birth to my daughter 4 months, I was in desperate need of a good jogging bra. I was willing to spend the $$ for a good one. Now let me tell you getting out of the house is a tough one when you have a new one in tow. Let me start off by giving you the good news, their yoga pants are lovely. I own three pairs and they are great. They're super comfortable and they've lasted quite a while and don't show any signs of wear. The store itself is a different story. I've always shopped online and one day I decided to actually walk into the store. The first thing an associate said to me was, "Are you looking for someone......?", which I thought was a bit rude (it was said with a know-it-all, rude tone). I assume that she asked me that because I looked a bit young. I'm 16 and I really don't look that much younger. No, I wasn't looking for anyone, I was look for products. Super RUDE staffs! I bought one pair of Align pants, one pair of wonder under and a top so far. The brand new wonder under had loosen stitch so I took it back here for a refund or an exchange. The asian women was very, very rude and refused for refund or exchange. After talking to her for a few minutes, I just didn't want to talk to her anymore so I left and contacted lululemon website. When a representative from lululemon website saw a photo of the loosen stitch, she took it back right away. Later, I hand washed the align pants once with cold water and hung for air dry like they told me but it still pilling really badly. I took it back here again since this is where I originally bought the pants from, and asked a white women staff for an exchange. They have quality assurance refund policy and I have read that numerous people got exchanges for pilling issue. She said it's a rumor. I said it's a $100 pants and I washed exactly like what I've told and also I've told lululemon has QA lifetime policy and that's why I bought this so if a $100 pants pills after one hand wash with cold water and air dry, I would like to get a refund. She said this pair of pants just pills and lululemon just doesn't accept and give refund and walked away. Seriously? She was super rude. She spoke to me like I'm a child and she's a queen. Since all the staffs I've experience are very rude and speak with such a bad attitude, I feel like that's how the store manager trains them to talk to customers. Like we are very popular and have lots of customers who behave like our pets so we don't need you who wants refunds or exchanges go away. Also, what is your QA lifetime refund policy then? Seriously, this is the BEST Lululemon store I've been to! The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming, even if you're not a stick figure. The store manager, Hanna, is AWESOME and helped me select leggings that I had been reluctant to try on assuming they wouldn't fit my mom bod. She gave me her card and email and made me promise to come back in to try them on, and I'm SO glad I did!! THANK YOU, Hanna! The store can get busy in the afternoon, but swing by on an evening or right after it opens and you'll get first class service. My sister *loves* this store, so we go here quite often. I like the clothes; they feel as if they're made of good quality however, the price-tag for their items... They're a little on the expensive side. Love the clothes! I don't mind the price even though it's pricey. Great fit and makes my bootay look good. I did however try to return an item from online and was tried to issue store credit. I had "a" receipt but apparently the wrong one. Wish. They could search returns by credit card, I finally brought the info up on my email it became this long drawn out ordeal. Tags were still attached. I don't like to spend on higher end items and get the run around. This place is ALWAYS packed. I rarely come in here on a busy weekend. I love their products. I think their fabrics are so amazing and soft and over all good quality. I don't buy a lot of stuff here because it is pretty pricey and I am not trying to break the bank but when I do...I do. I also love their headbands, especially the kind with the grip on the inside. The other day before work I walked into Lulu desperate to find a pair of basic black leggings. Everyone has always told me to go to target or my own store (I woke at an upscale department store at the mall that sells activeware) but so far nothing has been what I wanted. Target brands pill and look disgusting and stretch out and the ones from my store constantly rip at the seams even when I went 2 sizes up from my own! Anyway, I had never been to Lulu in my life and wanted to see what the hype was. Since I work in retail, I have a high standard for other retail workers. Immediately I was greeted by friendly, smiling faces. Within 30 seconds, a woman came up and told me everything I needed to know about the leggings and helped me find exactly what I wanted. I ended up getting a basic black high waisted pant and have to say, after just one day at the dance studio, I am so incredibly happy with them. The staff is EXTREMELY knowledgable and helpful and even let me know of events in the area (which I will definitely be requesting days off to be apart of). Yes, the price point is a little high but I believe it's worth it because these actually fit a woman's body. I have a bit of a booty and a small waist and did not once have to pull up or adjust them during practice. Not to mention they are incredibly flattering (everyone asked if I lost weight). But I just visited for the first time a few days ago, and got some of the best customer service in a long time, as chain stores go. Meredith spent so much time with me, going back and forth, getting new styles for me to try on when I wasn't thrilled with fits. I'm a fitness instructor, and looking my absolute best is a must for me! They also have a discount program for people who are instructors... see, they rope us in, get us to tell our friends about the discount program, and it all goes downhill from there. Had a much more positive experience when I visited the Bellevue Square location this afternoon. Not only can I wear a size 12 I am in a size 10 down -100 pounds total! I was so excited to come in and treat myself to a few pairs of crops. All the staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. I felt comfortable to ask them which style looked the best and what their personal favorites were. I went with two pairs of the Wonder Under Crop and wow they fit amazing.
