Boxing Day (December 26th) is a day when most people will attempt to return or exchange products with no receipts and it is usually not a problem for high end retailers; lululemon is another story. After being told in-store that I would not be able to exchange a pair of gloves towards a hoodie I phoned their "Guest Education Centre" and was told that without a receipt it may be stolen and this is why it cannot be returned. ARE YOU EFFING SERIOUS?! You are just assuming (especially the day after Christmas) that if someone does not have a receipt that they stole the item?! I left my name and phone number with them and have yet to hear back. Ridiculous! I will never be going to ANY lululemon again! I might just stop purchasing the product all together knowing the company does not care about people as a customer. It is sad that lululemon products are made to such a high standard but the service and employee standards are anything but. This particular location was TERRIBLE. Pack to the brim. When I walked in not one attendant say a word to me (though the register was dead and near the door.) After a few minutes of wandering I tapped an employee on the shoulder to ask about their headbands. She turned, gave me a glance and said, "I'm sorry, we don't have anything in your size here." I blinked and tried to laugh it off before asking her about the headbands--how they fit, if they slipped--she just gestured me toward the front and then walked away. Rude. I walked out empty handed and put off. Lulu, your products are great, but your employees need better customer service training. read more

Selection is great as a guy shopping there. However, I don't feel the customer service or friendliness when I walk in there. It's more of a prepare myself and prepare to probably get ignored or try not to make awkward eye contact. Lululemon sells exorbitantly overpriced workout clothing and that about sums it up. When I absolutely could not find cotton workout shorts anywhere else, I was forced to pay about $40 for some here. The shorts were well made (one pair even had a hidden pocket in the waistband), but in no way worth the price tag and it pisses me off that they've managed to make people think these prices are reasonable for glorified sweats. But the salespeople were always nice and friendly and I do appreciate the fact that lululemon encourages people to stay active and live healthy. A couple Stars for that. But in addition to the fact that I paid about twice as much for sweats as I needed to, they never had sizes small enough for me so I was wearing baggy, expensive sweatshorts for a couple years. They must make stuff smaller than a 6 since I see skinny girls at the gym with the little logo all the time, but the store must not order very many small sizes. I don't totally hate on the lululemon, but I won't be back anytime soon. I found some cotton non-booty shorts after literally months of searching, finally finding success at Old Navy and the lingerie dept at Nordstrom. But still shaking my fist at Express who used to carry the perfect sweatshorts. Anyways, I think lululemon carries a small selection of men's workout clothing as well. If you're in need of some (overpriced) workout gear, Bellevue Square also has a lucy store, which carries a variety of brands. And I've had good luck finding workout gloves and little socks and stuff like that at Lady Footlocker. There are options. You don't have to give into lululemon's allure, even if they give you one of those reusable totes with inspirational sayings on it. read more

I was never a fan of Lululemon but my husband was. I don't like that they don't have boys clothing but they have girls. I finally decided to give the brand a try and I ordered two things online. They were not the right fit and I went in store and purchased a different set and had them altered to fit me, problem is I forgot the original purchase in my other vehicle. I looked in the packaging but there was no return sheet. I called Lulu and told them the story and the lady said I would get an email to return the items, but it never came. I called back and that lady sent me a label for the Canadian Post (I am in the USA) to which I argued with her about. I called the number to the Canadian post on the label and they confirmed that label would only work if I were in Canada which I am not. I called a THIRD time to Lulu and asked for a supervisor and they would not give me one. This whole process took at least 45 minutes of time and finally in the end I got the label I needed but it should have been an easy process. I just got the items a week ago, the size was wrong, I bought other merchandise but still they made this process so frustrating that I will NEVER step foot in their store again! AVOID BUYING ONLINE AT ALL COSTS unless you know exactly your size otherwise you will have to go through this too!!! read more

my friend bought a pair of leggings here. she didn't end up liking them, so she wanted to return them. she had never worn the leggings before. she had the leggings, the tag, the recite, and the card she bought the leggings on. she asked a worker about it and the worker said that she was not able to return the leggings due to the fact that the tag was not on. the leggings have never been worn at all. the workers were rude aswell. i would usually not be mad if the leggings were a cheap price, but they were $100. read more

OK....This is for the ladies at Lululemon in Bellevue. ;) First off, reading reviews on this store I prepared myself for horrid service walking in. I was greeted by three people the second I entered the store-Genuine smiles. I found a grip of goodies to try on and was asked if I wanted to start a fitting room. This is a big plus in my book. It's hard to look for your size when your holding a bunch of stuff. I was helped by three girls in the fitting room. They had excellent product knowledge and great suggestions to help me find the perfect fit. The girls were amazing and I left with a new workout wardrobe. Hey I feel my fellow yelpers when they say its expensive. But come on now! Anyone, who wears lulu knows its not cheap. So don't act surprised. They also know that the product is worth every penny. :) I'm originally from LA and now reside in Hawaii. Iv'e been to quite a few stores. This one by far is my favorite. The only thing that upset me was that I was just visiting. I wanted to go hang out with those girls and maybe participate in a store yoga class they offer. I've purchased Lulu items, but online. What can I say, I like reading product reviews, and the ease of ordering from my comfy home. With that in mind, I've visited this store approximately three times, and I must say - I am so not impressed. Granted, I was not all dolled up when I visited - wearing your standard leggings, sneakers, hair in a top bun, and no make up, but still. No one greeted me, they were out of my size in pretty much everything, and its just SO LOUD! Considering that consumers have a lot more choice, are being more conservative with their spending habits post Great Recession, and that (hello!) customer service is still king, this location needs a serious overhaul in this department. I've diversified my athletic gear, so Lulu is not my one and only staple, and this store is also not a staple or place I'll visit. Ever. Again. read more

What is up with these snobby skanks? They really don't want to sell anything do they? We were in Ivivva (the children's line of lululemon) and the sales staff treated us like queens. They completely catered to my daughter (who is a dancer) and I (thank you :). Then we went in the lululemon to get mommy something. I was shocked, I've never been treated so rudely, and I was well dressed, my hair was done, I'm fit and a small size. I don't get it. But regardless of my presentation, they should not be judging anyone on how they look or how fit they are. They should be about empowering women (& girls, & their male counterparts). Never had bad customer service in all the stores I have visited. They have free tailoring for their pants. Since I am short and have to have lots of things altered, it worth the big bucks. I have been shopping their for about 2 years and the first thing I purchased there is still like brand new. So I may be paying money, but everything that isn't Lulu has already worn out. I've shopped at various Lulu stores for years, and recently a pair of my yoga pants I'd purchased there (only a year old) developed a small hole. I took them into the Bellevue location and the salespeople were SUPER nice and friendly and told me to pick out a replacement pair to exchange, no problem. My wife bought a sports wear on Thursday. When she first wear it on Friday, the sleeve pop-open in the forearm area. So, on Saturday, we went to store for exchange and their first response was, "our store policy will not exchange for any damage which is not in sewing area". Eeh, for customer who pay premium price and certainly don't expect damage will occur at such area with normal wear. For us, we have to spend time & gas to come for exchange and certainly don't expect such response from Lululemon. Anyway, after the clerk discuss with the manager, finally, they do let us do exchange, but she warned us that "this would be the LAST time for us to do this!!" They never answered the phone when I called to check on an item in stock...I went in to find the item. The salesladies were pretty rude. She literally looked at me and told me they did not have "my size"...I needed a size 8. Then she turned away and ignored me...huh? This was witnessed by another customer who told me we shouldn't bother going there if we are over 40...haha! I guess I agreed after that. I had a gift card I had to use...Oh, and I did find what I came for. They did have my size! The review would be lower but the clothes are better quality than the service at the Bellevue Square store. But i hate going in there because the staff are so rude. i am a sales associate myself and my store holds great pride when it comes to costumer service. no one has ever greeted me or asked me if i need help. The associates just kind of glare at you and are so rude. I am a fitness instructor and am apart of the research & development team through Lululemon. I thought this would be a great opportunity to give feedback on workout clothes and get a discount. But getting to the point on why I am writing this review is because every time I go to the Bellevue store it is horrible service and bitchy attitude. They ask me a million questions pertaining to my discount, making me feel like they do not believe I am an instructor. Even after I show them my I.D. (what else do they need) and am pulled up in the computer, I get hassled. I buy tons of clothes there (expensive) and wear the clothes while teaching, which in free advertise for Lululemon products. I do enjoy the clothes, but second guess myself wearing clothes that are represented by employees that treat there customers like sh*&. I have nothing positive to say about the employees at the Bellevue location and will never shop at the location again. read more

RACIST STAFF AND OVERPRICED PRODUCT. Unless you look upper middle class and white don't expect to receive any service. When I came here the store was overstaffed and not busy none of the girls acknowledged me at all. There was this blonde girl standing around the tanks in the back and although I kept walking over she continued to ignore me until finally I just let myself into a fitting room. Seemed like keeping track of the fitting rooms would be part of their jobs to minimize product theft but this girl couldn't care less. Then my white boyfriend came into the store, grabbed a pair of pants, and walked to the back and I hear this same girl immediately ask him his name, if he was finding everything ok, and if he needed a room. Later I heard her ask him by name if everything was fitting fine and if he needed anything. I still got no service whatsoever and I could not fit into the $64 exercise tanks so I had to get redressed and go back to fetch larger sizes myself the whole time with her standing there doing nothing. None of the overpriced things ended up fitting so I just left them strewn inside out all over the fitting room floor for this chick to pick up. Was tempted to purchase a couple $18-each underpants but decided to give my money to a more tolerant place and I am never coming back there. If this place keeps pushing away minority customers doubt they can stay in business very long. Just because we are minorities does not mean we don't have money (I work in technology and make a very solid income) so this Bellevue Square lululemon is definitely missing out on opportunities. read more

This review is about the staff and their retarded return policy. I only visited the place twice, once to buy a bra, and then to try to exchange it for a bigger size or different style because I paid over $54 for it and it was so uncomfortable I had backpain. Yes, the staff was rude. She said "You just can't buy it wear it and return it," in cocky sarcastic disrespectful way. And her buddy chimed in to support her. Now I'm stuck with a 54$ bra I can never wear, and I don't think even a size 0 woman would feel comfortable in it. Well, I will take my business to Nordstroms where they have excellent brands that aren't manufactured in sweatshops in China and their return policy is way better. I bought an awesome bra there, way sexier, way more comfortable for 38$. Yes, its surprising how sometimes Nordstroms can be cheaper. And its right next door in Bellevue Square. Lululemon's return policy is only going to hurt them, I would have bought an entire outfit if they would have let me returned it. I went in on a Saturday evening looking to exchange some yoga pants. I was not able to exchange them, however I ended up buying a brand new pair. The people working in the dressing rooms were nice, pleasant, and helpful. On the other hand, the cashier at the front of the store reflected a different attitude and perspective of what she thought customer service is. You would expect great service at a store that charges $107.00 for yoga pants, right? First, she did not greet me after I had said " Hello", she then rung up my pants ( My $107.00 DLLS Yoga Pants) and proceeded to throw the bag on the counter. While I said " Thank You", and walked out the store, nor did I receive a "Thank You" or a friendly smile. Her face reflected the idea that she was not happy to be there and made me feel unwelcomed. She was blonde, had a nose ring, and probably in her mid-20's. For someone who works at a yoga studio, being positive and show agape love should be expected if you want to work there or represent the company in a good manner. I understand that people can have bad days and that working retail can be stressful. However, I was a pleasant customer. It is important to highlight that the way a client is treated is the amount of money they will spend at a store. I may be one customer who experienced this, but as a yoga individual I am disappointing in the way I was made to feel and treated. Their service is their business. So, would I shop there again after I was treated in such a demeaning way? No Thank You. I would rather spend my money elsewhere. read more
