As I browsed the racks, my first thought was, what kind of idiot spends this much money on a pair of yoga pants? As it turns out, THIS kind of idiot. Luxe fabric, perfect fit, incredibly well made and designed, I have become a Lululemon fanatic. I have a drawer full of cheap-ass Academy yoga pants that have faded and pilled, and my New Year's resolution is to toss the bums out. Also on the chopping block, the 5 hoodies that make me look like a hobo, to be replaced by LLA's thick, beautifully made version. Is this place practical for everyone? No, but if you spend as much time as I do in workout gear, treat yourself to something truly worth the money. I really like the leggings. BUT I got them as a gift in a size 4 (which I can usually wear in other stuff!) but they were a little snug. Having never worn lulu before I decided to go into the store to ask for help and try on one size up just to compare the fit. I walked in to an employee folding leggings and explained my situation. She wasn't even remotely friendly or cheerful (I work in customer service and know how to treat customers). She leaned around her table without saying anything, looked me up and down, expressionless, and says "oh you're DEFINITELY a 6." .....I know 6 is not a big size. But there is absolutely a way to tell someone that they shouldn't flatter themselves thinking they can wear a smaller size... and that was not the way to do it. I'm an active person and I would love to enjoy lulu clothes but it has taken a lot for me to convince myself they are worth my business after that. read more

The associates here have terrible attitudes, they're not helpful, and they seldom greet you when you enter. They're more inclined to help customers that fit the typical Austin woman appearance (if you know what I'm implying). I don't have problems at Lululemon stores in San Antonio or Dallas but I always leave this store irritated and wishing I never went in to begin with. read more

Took a pair of my shorts here that had the seam coming apart in multiple spots. The lady who I spoke to was rude and seemed like she was too busy to help me. I have taken back items before and they have either offered to send them off and have their seamstress fix them, or have offered me to get a new item for no cost. She told me the seams were coming apart from "loving them too much" you would think for how much their items cost the quality would be better and hold up no matter how much I wear them... read more

New update: 1/14 I went in to see if Lulu could replace a pair of shorts I had bought due to unusual wear. without asking or grilling me on how the shorts deteriorated so quickly, they promptly replaced the shorts and told me to come back anytime if I encountered any problems with the new pair. I am addicted to Lulu! I love the fitness clothes. The service is impeccable and the staff is knowledgeable. I never thought I would spend over $100 dollars on a fitness outfit, but trust me it is worth every dime. Came here to exchange the stuff I just got at the 6th street location (oopsies). The layout of this location is a little more inviting and easy to navigate. It feels a lot less like you're just walking into some men's apparel store. The selection is also just a *touch* better (it still suffers from the overall lack of options in color that is present online though). The staff is warm and really goes out of their way to help. I was able to get help finding some stuff, getting a fitting room, getting advice on sizing/material choices without much effort. They make sure to greet you and check in on people regularly (both on the floor and in the fitting rooms), so you have lots of opportunities to get help with anything you may need without having to search for a member of staff. They do ask you about why you're bringing stuff back (for returns or exchanges), but it didn't seem really invasive or interrogating. (Perhaps it's different if you wanted to do a full on return and not just an exchange? I dunno~) Also, just to repeat my last review a touch: THEY HAVE THEIR OWN SIZING SYSTEM. I'm usually a size 00 or 0 / XXS or XS basically EVERYWHERE I shop. At lulu, I'm a 4 on top (I like it a little less snug and the low support ones, which I buy, run a touch smaller), and a 2 on bottom. Make sure to get help with sizing or check out a size guide online. The staff here was VERY helpful with getting me a top that fit (for my needs/desires). read more

I have been so excited to buy some lululemon clothes since I started doing yoga consistently and after trying on my sister's yoga pants, I had to have some. The people in this store were very helpful. They made me feel very comfortable trying on clothes and were great in assisting me with information about the clothes as far as how to wash them, sizing, etc. I really had a great experience at this lululemon store and I cannot wait to try out my new outfit. I have tried many different work out brands and lululemon makes my favorite leggings and I often find great tops here.A bit pricy but people shouldn't invest in good leggings if you're not going to be in them a lot. I get my fair ware by being a fitness instructor so I find it important to feel good in what I'm wearing on the job. I love that when I run the top doesn't slide down in the waist. These leggings are meant to hug the hips so make sure you get the proper size. read more

Wonderful, helpful associates.. I purchased a Reflection wrap, among other items, on 12/31/11. On 1/3/12, I wore it for the first time on a trip to San Jose, CA to visit my family. I put it on, went to the airport, and when I arrived (after simply sitting on the plane with it), I noticed a snag across the back. I called the store and spoke to Liz (I mistakenly called the 6th St. Austin store) - but Liz at that store kindly told me to bring it right in. When I explained that I was out of town she asked my location, told me there was a store there and to take it there and it would be swapped out for me. I called the San Jose store (Santana Row) and explained my situation and asked if they had my size, before I made the trip there. I was told, "I'll have to check with my manager" in a not very friendly tone..and then.."my manager says we can't do that, and anyway, I snag things when I wear them right away and deal with it"...I was surprised at the response and decided to talk to the people in Austin when I returned. I have had several great experiences at both Austin stores!! When I returned home on 1/8/12, I called, explained the situation to Tegra at the Domain store, who looked for the wrap, said "we have your size and in that color combination", put it aside for me as I was ready to come right down to the store. I came in with my snagged wrap and the receipt - she and Taylor so KINDLY AND SWEETLY assisted me in exchanging the wrap and were incredibly helpful in rectifying what was turning into a sad situation. I cannot thank them enough, and want to recognize their wonderful, helpful attitude. I have been a lululemon customer since I lived in the Bay Area and had to travel to the San Francisco store and still have items that I purchased years ago - they are the best. I've been meaning to write a review since before Christmas, when I found myself in this location at the Domain....I had never had anything from Lululemon, and I recently received a giftcard, and had been a little scared to stop in the store because I didnt know much about it... I was SO impressed by the staff's willingness to help me, and every single person I talked to at this store was so genuinely kind :) I wish I remembered their names! But it meant SO much to me, after a long day of Christmas shopping, to actually get to buy something for myself and have people that actually seemed like they were happy to help me try on 10 pairs of pants and tell me all about them, and make sure they fit properly! This store has extraordinary customer service! I am 1) a guy 2) a non-yogi and 3) moderately price sensitive. However, the staff is so helpful and they make you feel so comfortable that is hard not to buy anything. I found the athletic shorts I wanted online, and went in search of them at the brick and mortar. I don't wear yoga pants as a daily staple, so I was out of place, and clearly struggling to find the product I wanted. The girls, not women, working there, acted in such a rude and oblivious way that I had to quickly step out of the way before I was walked into by two girls who were too busy talking at each other to watch where they were going, or recognize a customer who needed help. Upon checking out, I was called to the register by the sorority mom, who was too busy guzzling the last of her canned energy drink, and then too busy talking casually to the cashier next to her to greet me properly. In the future, perhaps she can quench her extreme thirst and need for useless gossip before she calls someone over whom she can't even make eye contact with or finish a proper, socially acceptable greeting. Um, yes "I guess cash" is right. Learn to not wear your square heart on your sleeve, Sorority Mom. There are alternative models on the Lulu Lemon website, but in store, it's just a bunch of white washed girls with zero social skills outside of their cliques. Grow up, woman who is older than myself. Maybe polish up on your manners. I hope since you were working on a Saturday it means you aren't the manager, but even so, the vibe there was all sorts of ditzy. Pretty bad first impression. Good thing the product I bought is perfect. The 2.5 inch everlux shorts are a great accessory for my workouts. A+ on the product, F on the in-store interactions. Please fire the Asian lady that works here. I really wanted to exchange for another yoga pants. Instead of helping me this Asian lady was being mean and giving me such an attitude. She was accusing me for an unworn yoga pants that still had the tag. I never wore it. I just tried it on once to see the fitting and the material. I immediately took it off and put in my bag for an exchange. The Asian lady starts explaining me the store policy. I know the damn store policy and I would never wear and use stuff and then return it. In fact, the store manager at Lululemon Barton Creek once told me that Lululemon stands by their clothing and if I was not satisfied they would gladly return it for another pair any day even if worn. I know the store policy may change now but I would never wear it and then return something like that. I clarified to that Asian lady this and she was just going on with it. She wasn't shutting up. She was also digging in asking me personal questions that made me very feel uncomfortable. She wasn't recommending me a good pair of yoga pants. Then she cut me off and started helping another lady that came in. I just walked away and returned the pants. I cant stand such workers. The cashier processed my return without asking any questions and with a smile. Even the worker at the Lululemon at Galleria was judging my size and she was comparing my body with her body. I am a petite and she was more of a medium size. I know my size as I own plenty of Lululemon clothing. Seriously these workers need to stop judging by size and color. If I ask about sizing then recommend it to me. Next time I'll research a better store and or just shop online. read more

Great Products although on the pricey side. Staff tends to be young. I've never seen anyone work at either store that seems older than 20 something. Perhaps they should rectify this since I personally know middle aged folks who buy their stuff and have even tried getting employed here (no luck). The reason that customer service is spotty is mainly because the staff has a general air of elusiveness, as if "I'm too good to provide you with more than minimal help." I find most (not all) of the people that work here annoying. If it weren't for the staff I would have given the store 5 stars. read more

excuse my language but FUCK. this is the worst lulu ive ever been to. every time i try to exchange something even after i talked to a rep on twitter saying that there was no issue with me returning or exchanging, they ALWAYS give me a hard time. they basically say "we cant help you" and then only if you persist they say "ok only this one time. im not allowed to but i will." i swear to you they have said this exact thing every rime ive gone in. they are so rude and im not saying this was just one time where it happened to be the day a shitty worker was working. this is EVERY TIME. ive talked to at least 7 of my friends who said the SAME THING. my friend tried to exchange a bra for a different size and she told her "this looks so old ive never seen this. you cant exchange it" the girls there are such bitches about anything unless youre buying something from them. i wish i remembered her name but i exchanged something w a manager a while ago and she was the worst she was so rude for no reason and tried her best to not help me and at that point i had it and was very stern and she finally "helped" but when i walked away my friends told me she rolled her eyes. the MANAGER. keep in mind i was being very nice and patient. anyways. do urself a favor and just do your returns or exchanges online over twitter dm because they ALWAYS help me so much. screw lulus domain employees. read more

Was checking out a pair of WunderUnder crops online; my sister insisted I go to the store to try them on before buying. I went to the Domain location and the girls there not only helped me find what I was looking for, but actually asked what I'd be doing while wearing them, and suggested a better type of crop to suit that activity. The whole staff at the Domain Lulu is so friendly and helpful. It's a pleasure to shop there. read more

Went to this store instead of one at Barton springs mall and got better customer service and help. Everyone friendly and love the athletic pants. Cost first seems pricey but then you try them and they are high quality. Motivated now to exercise more (!) Wish me luck. read more
