Title Nine is a really cool store that has a collection of its own designs plus great brands like Brooks, Patagonia, Prana, and Toad and Co. I first discovered this store in Austin, and one was located in KC near Town Center but did not make it. I usually order online now, but every time I have stopped in the Austin store, I have gotten excellent service and have enjoyed roaming around and trying on so many fun clothes. On this trip, I ended up buying a Brooks sports bra made just for Title Nine (the Tech Athena) and ordering this gorgeous dress (they were out of my size but send it via free shipping from another store that has my size). The staff encouraged me to model what I tried on and offered suggestions for other styles that might work for me. I love the colorful patterns and prints available here and own a lot of cute dresses, tunics, and skirts from here. I came here in search of the perfect sports bra. I had found a really good one at lululemon but wanted to try Title 9 too. I'm really glad I did. My requirements were simply that the bra be a racerback, and that it hold my girls up. At a 32DD, it's been a little difficult to find the right one. Let me sing you the praises of the 7 Wonders bra. Oh my word, it is amazing. My helpful sales lady brought me a 32DD and it fit like a GLOVE. I had at least five other bras to try on but I knew then and there that I'd found the right one. Ladies, it is glorious. It holds everything up and in without crushing me to death. The band is snug without digging into my ribcage. The straps keep me riding high without cutting my shoulder blades up. And best of all, it's a racerback. I was a little uncertain at first about the adjustable straps - they look kind of stupid in the pictures and seemed like they would irritate my collarbone. To be perfectly honest, I don't even notice them. And for $54, it's a good $25 cheaper than the lulu bra, and it felt better to boot. My sister also picked up some awesome running shorts for $12 on the sale rack. We both left extremely happy customers. The icing on the cake, however, was the fact that Title9 guarantees the bras for 360 days. I don't plan on ever letting my amazing new sports bra out of my fingers, but it's just awesome to know that they stand behind their gear. Compared to lululemon's return policy of only accepting items that have never been worn, washed, or had the tags removed, I know I made the right choice. read more

Title Nine is my oasis. Ever since 5th grade I have a been layering and mix-matching sport and underwire bras in an effort to harness the ladies while I play sports and work out. This has resulted in countless indents and red marks when I take these bras off and even a few cuts from the chafing. Basically my least favorite part of working out was putting on the 3+ bras I thought I needed in order to keep control. Also, this layering would restrict my breathing because I was getting bras that were so tight in a effort to reduce bounce. Today I decided to take action! I marched on into Title Nine and was greeted by probably the most helpful woman in the world: Paige. I told Paige my problems and she took me straight to the wall with the sports bras and grabbed me a few from simply looking at me (I didn't really even know my bra size... so she had no help from me). Her guess on my size was spot on and she kept the bras coming! I didn't even have to leave the changing room. She also made me feel super comfortable. Usually I get frustrated when bra shopping because nothing ever seems big enough in the right areas and no one seems to ever understand ... everyone assumes big boobs = blessing... but not if you can't find a bra to harness them and when you finally do find something it's usually a beige or weird lilac color that no one would ever find sexy. Paige was so understanding and you can tell that Title Nine really caters to ladies with bigger chests because she was not intimidated by finding a perfectly fitting bra and had a plethora of options in my size. Paige event went so far as to suggest a bra that was not in the store and placed an order in my size for the store... she will let me know in 2 weeks when the bra gets there (this was at NO cost to me). The bras are a little bit expensive (I spent over $100 for two bras) but honestly... what do you expect? These babies will keep you locked in and for that kind of support I would pay 3 times that price. I cannot thank Paige enough for the time and care she took in helping me figure my sport bra situation out. If you're like me where you have a small rib cage but big tetas and can't find a bra to match that description... GO TO TITLE NINE. I'm a huge fan of Title Nine's clothing and gear, and I always pore over their catalog as soon as it arrives in the mail. It's wonderful to be able to visit the store, try on items in person, or ask for the saleswomen for advice. Last time I visited the store, they didn't have the items I was looking for. That left me in a bind, because I'd really wanted to try the items on for size. The saleswoman double-checked their stock, and because they didn't carry the items, called several stores to see who did. She ordered three items (in several sizes) from three other Title 9 stores -- all for just $4.95 in shipping (hint, hint -- order your stuff in-person to get this flat rate!). The items arrived in my mailbox in less than a week, and when I decided on the size I needed, I was able to return the others to the Austin store, no problem. In sum: good in-store selection, great selection (especially when you order from the catalog via the store), wonderful saleswomen with excellent customer service, convenient location. P.S. Ladies. Get thee to title 9 for a proper sports bra pronto. Like most gals in Austin, I am active and care about keeping the girls safe and comfortable while doing everything sporty. I first purchased a bra last summer when my half marathon training had me needing more "equipment." I worked with Paige, who is super friendly and knows her bras! Since the color I wanted wasn't in stock, it was shipped to me - I think for free, even though it was on sale! Well fast forward a few (ok 11ish months) when I thought "hey this bra is sort of snug, and it is usually the last one in the rotation." ( I am RIGHT between sizes and constantly choosing between sizes, even in regular bras.) So I take the bra back and ask if I am within the return window. Well I am! And I get a FULL REFUND!! I work with Paige again, apologizing for my challenging body size, (she is gracious and helpful) and she introduces me to another brand that runs a bit small to help me get the larger of my two candidate sizes to fit perfectly. I just returned to buy another one last week. Paige remembered me and looked up the size in the computer for me. I was grateful because I had just eaten some breakfast tacos :). So please do yourself a favor, protect your tatas, and get to Title IX. read more

My experience with Title 9 was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable. I went in looking for a good supportive sports bra (Academy just wasn't cutting it for my size anymore, 36C) the women at Title 9 really know their stuff. They made me feel very comfortable and showed me more than six bras. Even though the bra was 50$ it was well worth it. I will definitely suggest Title Nine to all my friends!!! read more

I was so happy to see a Title 9 open in Austin and have not been disappointed in selection, quality or service. I also haven't had any problems finding a space even though it's located between Fifth and Sixth Streets on Lamar. The saleswomen are ultra helpful, friendly and make shopping there a very pleasant experience. One drawback is that they don't carry any sale items, at least not yet. I want all my new clothes to come from T9 but it's also nice to not pay full price (which reminds me...be sure to sign their birthday book!). read more

I have always like Title Nine, since they sell casually elegant comfortable clothing. I like having clothes that I can kick around in and still look put together. I love the Horny Toad dresses since they can be worn in the workplace, and they travel well. I am happy there is a store in Austin and I appreciate the level of service from the staff. I placed an order on the 12th of December for 3 items that amounted to $308. These were gifts for my daughter for Christmas. You would think that they would arrive before Christmas even with standard shipping since all of these items were in stock? First of all, I never got an order confirmation, so I didn't have an order number. Did a live chat on the 20th to see what is going on. The customer service rep informed me that the package would arrive on the 28th....Their answer was that FedEx and USPS were over loaded because of the holidays....Ok, then explain why I have received every other item I've ordered from other online companies with standard shipping?? I was introduced to this place when my sister sent me a gift card to it. I looked at the catalog and thought, "Great, more Patagonia/REI stuff," but I was pleasantly surprised when I went into the store. I'm not a sporty type, so having a full accoutrerment of sports clothing is low on my list, but comfortable, easy care dresses that are casual and yet dressy enough for me to wear to work are high on my list, and they made a long term customer out of me with the second option. The staff is very helpful without being pushy or overbearing, and after only the first visit, they recognized me upon my return the second time and every time since. Love it! read more

Although I've bought bras from Title 9 for many years, first through the catalog and later online, I had never been in one of their retail stores before today. I explained to Lee that I had picked out two bras from their web site that I wanted to try on. She brought me those bras in a couple of sizes to try on. None of them was exactly what I wanted, so she suggested trying on another one -- a wirefree bra that fit perfectly. I took one home with me and plan to order more. Trying on bras can be unpleasant, but Lee's patience and kindness made it painless. read more

I love getting the catalog in the mail, but we don't have a store in MI, so I literally made my friend jump out of an Uber when we passed the store last week while visiting for a conference. Needless to say, we had an awesome shopping trip. I love the stye and fit of the clothes for easy to wear summer dresses. The sales staff were great and helped us pick out the best items for color and fit for our different body shapes. My only regret is that I couldn't buy everything I loved.
