DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! Refund denied on an unworn item - disappointing and frankly insulting experience I had an extremely frustrating experience with this boutique and would strongly caution others before purchasing. I ordered a dress after it was sold out elsewhere. It was my top choice out of several I ordered, and I fully intended to keep it. Unfortunately, both sizes I tried (including the one purchased here) had the same zipper/seam defect and would not zip. The dress was never worn -- only tried on briefly -- and the manufacturer's tag remained attached when it was returned. Despite this, the store denied a refund based on their "360ID" ribbon, which is attached with adhesive and came apart during a standard try-on. Instead, they offered store credit. What made this worse was the tone and content of the response. Rather than evaluating the actual condition of the item, they defaulted to suspicion -- even stating that customers can "easily buy a tagging gun to reapply a tag." Being treated as if I had tampered with the item, despite no evidence of wear, was both inappropriate and insulting. They also attempted to justify the integrity of the ribbon with a static weight test, which is not comparable to the normal movement involved in trying on a fitted garment. The reality is that their tagging method failed, and I am being penalized for it. I made a good-faith purchase and return, and instead of a reasonable resolution, I was met with rigid policy enforcement and unfounded assumptions. I am now out money for an item I could not wear. I would strongly recommend that customers be aware that this return policy may be enforced even in situations where the item is unworn and returned in good faith. read more

Similar experience to another review, unfortunately and not sure if it's a scam or really bad customer service, bordering on negligence. I ordered an Enza Costa top they are one of the last to have in size small, but was too big for me and I followed the return instructions, all tags and anti-theft device still intact and promptly returned. Weeks later and numerous emails, not so much as a response. I will be reporting them and never ordering again from them. Buyer beware! read more

I shop 90 percent of the time online, high end boutiques and well known shops will refund your money if you return the ITEMS with or with OUT tags. I do not take the time to read everyones return policy as I expect that when I purchase a $200 dollar pair of pants and if I find them for half of at revolve I expect for them to give me my money back. I received my item removed tags and hung the up, when I found them again at revolve for half the price i tried to return the unworn item and they had me pay to ship it back for inspection and said they would not refund my money because the tag was removed. I sent the tag with the pants as it was still on my night stand and i never wore the pants and they still said I would have to pay to ship the pants back to me since then three days ago, I have not received the invoice to pay to ship them back and they have not responded to my emails. I have placed a stop payment with my bank until I receive my unworn overpriced item back after I pay more money for them to ship back to me. Let me start by saying that I'm a regular customer and have been recently having poor experiences here. This week, I had the displeasure of visiting Estilo, and encountered the most abhorrent customer service from one of their employees (some young blonde lady I believe named Amy or Emma). Not only was the staff member dismissive and unhelpful, but she also displayed an unbelievable level of rudeness. I ordered a Alice and Olivia sweater from Estilo on December 18th through their website. I was super excited to find it as it was sold out in my area. On December 26th I noticed it had not shipped so I emailed to inquire about it but never received a response back. I called the store on the 28th and was told the manager would call me back as soon as she was finished with a customer but I never received a call back. I then emailed again on the 29th without a response. On the 30th I again called the store and was told the manager would look into my order and call me when she was finished with a customer. I explained that I emailed twice and called twice without a response and she promised I would get a call back. After hanging up I contacted my credit card company to report this transaction as fraud since I had been charged in full when I placed the order, it never was shipped and they were avoiding me. About 40 minutes later I received a text from Estilo saying they never had the sweater and my credit card was refunded. I am not sure if this was a scam or just really poor customer service, either way I will never order from them again. read more

I ordered three dresses on line , they were all very disappointing . Way too big for me , but the quality was not what I was expecting . It took three weeks to arrive . I am now waiting for a return label by email . I've been waiting a week now . Not great service and I am very annoyed at the no response to my email !!!! This store was not what I was expecting. In advertised ads that show a woman sitting on a bench with a very curated, sparse rack of light colored cloths behind her was not what it looks like. In actuality it is a store with too many clothes and too much variety. The clothes here are jammed onto the racks. Almost like a TJ Maxx where it is so tight you can't even see what is there. I found that the clothes looked rather matronly and somewhat preppy. They do have nice up to date things and nice lines don't get me wrong but it is far and few between. I thought it was going to be like redbird or good company. Like another reviewer said it is very dark and the suspension racks are a pain as they move constantly while you are trying to browse. All in all there wasn't anything I would have bought on this trip but would stop back in again. read more

This place is better than most clothing stores in the 2nd St District: a few more fitted pieces, some things made of silk and not just polyester. But again, I was overwhelmed with all the flimsy, chiffony pieces. I'm just going to be out of fashion since that's all that's seems to be going on right now. I survived the flats and gladiator sandals epidemics, I can weather chiffon and ruffles. I tried on one navy blue silk dress but the proportions were not right for me. I don't like how the clothes hang from suspended racks that move all over the place when you're trying to browse and it is very dark and cavey feeling in here. read more

This place is high-fashion.. something you would maybe find in SoHo NYC. Has a good selection of hard to find shirts and jeans... but for some reason I leave there empty-handed every time. I don't know.. maybe a little too high fashion for me... they seem to specialize in button-down long-sleeve shirts.. I prefer more laid-back fashion... along the lines of Octane across the street. Oh and they organize their clothes on the racks by color.. you know you're somewhere serious when they organize by color. And they have a DJ that serves music during busy hours. read more

I cannot believe I've never been here before! As soon as I stepped foot in the door I was treated with such amazing and hospitable customer service like you wouldn't believe. I love high-end stores and boutiques as much as the next wanna be fashionista, but you know the type of "service" that you usually have to deal with - over-bearing with an air of "I'm going to keep an eye on you because you and I both know you can't afford anything in here," or completely invisible with a sprinkling of "I'm better than you" attitude until they find out you actually have money to spend. Not the case at Estilo! The service ROCKS!! Oh, and did I mention the clothes?? I know this place is named one of the best boutiques for men, but ladies, they have beautiful, high quality items for women and great sales! I was shopping for a dress to wear to a wedding and found a Trina Turk nearly 50% off!! However, I was torn between that dress and another that was also marked down but had a little spot on it. The lovely saleswoman apologized for the spot and called the owner to see if they could take off some more for the dry cleaning expense that I would have to pay - the answer was yes! I have been going to Estilo for years since it opened. I stopped by there the other day see what they had in that I liked, and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing inventory of unique clothing they have right now. I don't like to go out and look like every other person that is around me (no offense Dallas) so when I find a store that takes its time with its inventory to guarantee its patrons the best experience, unique look, and one-of-a-kind clothing I always spend my money there. The owner Stephanie met me with open arms, and spent almost 30 minutes with me suggesting a few different shirts that I probably would not have tried on but was pleasantly surprised with when I did. This attention to her clients needs and look they are trying to attain is why I think Estilo is one of the best options for a guy looking to improve his style or wardrobe. They have the best selection for men or dikes with style :) The staff here is friendly and definately up to date with the latest styles and trends. I've wanted to visit this store ever since I moved back to Austin. I walked in and another woman walked in right after me. She was approached and asked if she needed help but NOT me. I felt like the women who worked there could have cared less that I was in there and fawned on the other women in the store. The store itself was over crowded with clothing and the clothing seemed to just be crammed in every corner of the place. It was just too much to take in and to go through to see what they had--the clothing was so tight that you couldn't go through them very well. When I did find something, I asked the girl there if it was in a smaller size, she said that is all they have but on their website they have an xs--so not sure about the brush off. Lots of ruffles in this place--I do like several of the brands they carry but I will buy those directly from those companies and steer clear of this store that seems to cater to a certain woman that doesn't look like me. I have never had such a bad feeling while shopping before. If those girls work on commission, then they lost a lot of extra money by ignoring me. Okay, so my friend and I left a perfectly good party because we heard this place was putting on some kind of event from 6-9 with music, food and drinks. We got there at 8pm and all we found were crumbs on a plate and a bucket of ice. I'm really sick and tired of places promoting events and they don't provide things throughout the entire time they say the event is going on.
