We could have spent all day in this small shop!! The owner and staff were super cool to talk to while we shopped. It was neat to see the various clothing from different times and try things on that we would wear today. There was a nice selection of jewelry and accessories as well. I honestly didn't even get around to looking at clothes when I visited because I spent so much time pouring over their extensive (and excellently curated) jewelry and belt collection. I found the prices to be very reasonable given the quality and thoughtful selection. I walked away with a few pieces for myself and the perfect birthday gift for a friend, and even ended up buying a cuff I couldn't stop thinking from their online store once I was back home in California. Amazing vintage shop! My friend and I wandered in totally without planning; we legit had just come from the airport to a nearby vegetarian place for breakfast and wandered down the street having no idea this shop even existed. And, thank goodness we did! Rebekka is fabulous. We basically became old friends during the THREE hours we spent deep diving all the great merchandise. I really, really, really appreciated how well curated this shop is. Everything was of good quality, and in desirable condition. I rarely shop vintage because I am easily intimidated by overstuffed racks and the Easter-Egg-like hunting that's required. None of that here. I had a really nice shopping experience at Bloomers and Frocks. The store is filled with vintage dresses, many of which are from the first half of the 20th century in feminine silhouettes. There were a few dresses I found that I really liked. Ultimately I went with a black 100% silk, full-length kimono with an intricate and colorful design on the back. I'd been looking for a kimono for a while so when I saw this one I snatched it up. And it was just under $60 which I thought was very reasonable. The shop owner was great. She was engaging without being aggressive or pushy. What spoke volumes to me was that as I was checking out she encouraged me to check out other vintage shops nearby. I was really impressed by this. It's not often you find a business owner actively supporting/promoting their competitors. I loved that the dresses had the article measurements on them for the bust, waist, and hips. It's not something I typically see in vintage shops and I know it took a lot of extra time to provide that information. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking out Bloomers and Frocks if you like vintage shopping or even if you don't and you just want something that's one of a kind. read more

I came in looking for something for a military ball, not having a clue what could work for that... she immediately took my measurements and started running around the store pulling dresses for me. I've been going to vintage shops for 45 years and, for women's clothes, this is by far the best I've ever seen. Hundreds of gorgeous dresses from the 1900s up to the 60s. Virtually all of them look brand new, whether they are or not. Everything is dry cleaned or hand soaked in a special, gentle detergent that removes stains and yellowing. They have lots of other items, such as vintage jewelry, hats, gloves, chemises, clutch bags, and even some fur stoles. It was so chock full of wonderful and beautiful things that I felt like I was in a museum. The prices were quite reasonable for the high quality. The bonus is the two women owners are super nice and informative. Highly recommended! read more

When she noticed a particular bracelet I wanted was a bit too big, she offered to make it smaller for me and turn the leftover stones into earrings! This little shop is vintage heaven! Although I feel like the word 'curated' is overused and very trendy these days, there is truly no better word to describe Rebekah's collection of goods. The attention to detail is evident throughout the shop-- from her selection of premium vintage clothing and jewelry to the well organized displays, it it a highly enjoyable shopping experience. We wandered in planning to just look around and got hooked. The owner took my measurements and put them on a card so I would have them as I looked around. When I said I liked 50s dresses she then went and pulled a bunch of dresses for me to try. With each dress, she helped me look at how I could alter it if necessary or move buttons to get a bit more room in the bust. She then helped me find a matching belt.
