Again we enjoyed Luliano's so much! Treated GF for her Birthday. Laura was very accommodating and sweet as always. Highly recommend the delicious entrees. I enjoyed the Grilled Salmon with Broccoli Rabe and roast potatoes. My friend had her usual favorite Chicken Parmigiana w spaghetti. Tartufo dessert was yummy! You have to make a trip here for the great service, food and ambiance. So what are you waiting for?? read more

This was one of the worst experiences ever. We went there (bunch of friends) for an afternoon lunch and drinks. My sister and I both ordered a shot of Absolut vodka and a beer chaser. When the drinks arrived, we did the shot and it definitely was NOT Absolut!!! As soon as I drank it I asked the waitress what that was bc is tasted like rubbing alcohol!!! 2 hours later, my head was spinning and I was so nauseous, I spent the rest of the night barfing my brains out, I was sicker than a dog!!! Next day, my sister told me same thing happened to her... needless to say I will NEVER go there again or recommend anyone. read more

I ordered the chicken cutlet parm w/ vodka sauce and a Luliano's Vodka pie(small) through delivery. I found the chicken cutlet on both the pasta and pie to be really dry and kind of bland. The vodka sauce with penne was the only highlight probably because of the much needed moisture. Not sure if it was maybe an off day but too risky for me and my purse strings to give another try. read more

Tried this quaint family restaurant. Very nice warm atmosphere. Only Street parking in the area so beware. I would give it 5 stars because everything was wonderful. The focaccia was served fresh and warm with olive oil and balsamic. For dipping. The fried Calamari was perfect. Great portion fried crisp and light. Sauce accompaniment with fresh lemon was an excellent match. We ordered the Gnocchi with Bolognese sauce. The gnocchi was homemade and delicious served with melted cheese and generous sauce. The Spaghetti with clams in white sauce was delicious as well. A little more clams would have made it 5 stars.. But otherwise, it was delicious. We tried the red sangria which was complimentary with two entrees. Surprisingly, it was the best I've had and that even topped Spain's! Hooray on that. The service was excellent. Very friendly and personal. We will definitely be back to enjoy more delightful dishes. I just love small family restaurants. read more

I'd strongly recommend coming here for date nights and brunch. I go here nearly one or twice a month at this point to enjoy the free sangria with the two entree + app offer with my fiancé. We're big fans of the mezzi rigatoni alla vodka. Our last server, Mo, kept our drinks full and was incredibly warm and friendly! read more

We took our son to Luluano's for dinner for his 25th Birthday we got there 30 minutes before our reservation, we were greeted and seated immediately. The staff is courteous and work well together, I placed an empty dish to the side and a waiter came out of nowhere and took the plate immediately. We didn't get dessert, we were full from the delicious meal, but they did bring out a complementary tartufo & put candles in it. We had a great night, Austin was fantastic as were his colleagues there was another young man & a young lady that were working also & were equally fantastic! Thank you a wonderful night & we definitely will be back read more

After skipping lunch, I came to Brooklyn right after work in Connecticut, so I was hungry. Asked my man to order us food from here for delivery. The food took longer than expected to arrive, but at least it was not cold. I ordered the chicken parm in vodka sauce, they were nice enough to accommodate my request to swap penne for linguine. They could have been more generous on the cheese. It tasted good but I felt like it could have used more garlic or anything else to add more flavor. I tried my man's chicken scarpariello with added sausage (+$5). I've ordered this numerous times in CT and it's heavier on the sauce. I was surprised there were absolutely no peppers and it was not even mild with spice, it had no spice at all. We are spicy fans, so I was disappointed. I tried the piece of garlic bread that came with the order and immediately spat it out. It was hard. Reminded me of frozen pizza dough from school lunch. I almost forgot we had the burrata. It was too creamy for me. Not sure if thats how it supposed to be. I thought it would be more on the fresh mozz side. From the price points, I expected higher quality that's why I rated it 3 stars. read more

I highly recommend this restaurant for date night, family gathering, or church catering. The food is delicious & the staff are kind & friendly in this sweet neighborhood spot. The clever pizza names like Sophia Lorenza delivers big smiles. The cheesecake is sweet finish- & they make lovely espresso martinis! Take your family & friends & tip the amazing waitstaff well. read more

The chicken dishes were very good. The salmon was good. The most disappointing was the eggplant parmagiana. Was just...so so

4.25 stars Pros: - tons of seating. A few outdoor tables - service was exceptional -plentiful parking on street - quinoa salad, zucchini Pizza was good. Which it had a crispier crust but ingredients were fresh. Margherita was a win otherwise. The Sofia Lorenza was good but Margherita was way better. Calamari was good which i had less rings and more tentacles. But it was well done. Overall portions were huge and for the price it was well worth it. Would recommend! read more

Can you remember when you were a kid, and you had pizza from a spot in the neighborhood that was so consistently phenomenal, that THEIR presentation of pizza... their sauce, their crust, how they cook it *just* right... THAT was what stamped the idea of what Pizza was, in your head...? That is EXACTLY what you'll be served from Luliano's. I ordered a Large Pie, well done, and some Mozzarella Sticks, extra sauce. Delivery time was prompt; 30 minutes, tops. We open the pizza box. ... Beams of light shot out of the box while soft bells chimed and angels sang. Mozzarella sticks alone were typical mozzarella sticks. However, dipped in the little cup of sauce that Luliano's blessed us with... Mozzarella Sticks turned to Heaven Sticks. The sauce is delicious. You can taste the TIME that merlot-colored cup of sauce spent simmering on the stove. After consuming the mozzarella sticks (dipped in the blessed deep-red dressing) I drank the remaining sauce from the cup. I have no shame. None. Then, it was time for pizza. I reopened the box; the bells, the angels... It was beautiful. I had a hard time choosing a starter-slice, because I'd be ruining the perfection that I was feasting my eyes on. I grabbed a slice; It didn't 'flop'. The slice held firm; straight as an arrow. Impressive. Very impressive. I took my first bite. I took another bite. One more. Why wasn't I "blown away"?!? ... Because I've had THIS before... It tasted *exactly* like the pizza I used to have in my old neighborhood, when I was a kid. Enjoying a slice of Luliano's Pizza allowed me to relive one of the most enjoyable memories of my childhood. Taking a bite of the crust tasted like a bite of Peasant bread; It was so delicious. The sauce was only mildly acidic; Not overpowering but just enough flavor to do it's duty. The cheese was perfect; not one trace of excessive oil floating on top of the cheese. Overall: A perfect balance of fresh, wood-fired bread, extensively simmered sauce and a perfect helping of mozzarella. Luliano's is now tied with another Pizzeria as my absolute favorite Pizzeria in Bay Ridge. read more

I've ordered from here several times and each time is AMAZING. Every pizza is completely full of flavor. (Hence why I ordered three small, to split and have variety ) My go to is the white prosciutto! I honestly don't have anything bad to say; (some people may find this place more expensive, but with the amount of ingredients/toppings it makes sense) my pizza always arrives on time and warm/hot. When I reheat it in the oven, it's crispy and delicious. I order via Grubhub. https://www.grubhub.com/referral/ee2ed650-487e-11e4-9697-9cb654858910 read more

Ordered delivery, the food was ok. The delivery guy couldn't find parking on my busy block, and when I came down for the food he said racist nonsense about how "there's too many people here now," and looked at a bunch of latino people on my block with disgust. Never gonna order from a place where it's ok to be racist. read more

Had a group event here and we were very happy with the food, service and price. Every guest said it was their first time at the restaurant and they want to come back soon. The wood fire pizza was so light and crispy, I could eat a whole pie no problem. The pastas were fresh and hot. The hanger steak was so tender and juicy. The staff manager, Joe, was very polite, personable and ensured we had a great time. They even let us choose our own music theme for the event. They accommodated any special request we had! Definitely recommend if you are in bay ridge and looking for Italian food. read more

Have you ever ordered a dish and no matter how many times you've eaten it, it was like the first time?!? Have you ever tasted food so good that when you took a bite, your whole body tensed up?!? I'm being dead serious. While eating: Have you ever wanted to dim the lights, play some Teddy Pendergrass (Yes, I have issues, lol) rock yourself back and forth in the corner and smoke a cigarette?!? Sh+t! I don't even smoke, lol!!! The above does all of these things for me when I order the Chicken Parmigiana with Ziti in Vodka sauce. I've ordered it about 30 times, easily. It's the only dish I order from them. Ever. I'm sure they have other dishes that are comparable, but when it ain't broke you don't fix it. Get you some! read more

Be sure to try the 2 Baked pasta special! Such a great deal! My wife loves their Baked Ziti, and I usually get angel hair spaghetti and meatballs, or pasta with garlic and oil. They also have great desserts! The atmosphere is nice, and like all old school Italian restaurants you will hear "That's Amore" and "Mambo Italiano" read more

We were really happy to find this place after checking out the lights in Dyker Heights. It had sheltered outdoor seating with heat lamps and sufficient air circulating. Everything from the bread to the hearty bowl of pasta fagiole to the artichoke pizza was so good! We were stuffed after. I am way less impressed with Luliano's than the yelp* community. I stopped in for lunch on a sunny day and ordered a Quatro Stagione Pizza. I've been to many brick oven Pizzeria's in my time and I know what it should taste like. The dough on the pizza was sub par. The Tomato sauce had little flavor, and the toppings weren't good at all. The Black Olives tasted as if they had been taken from a can, and the Artichokes were tasteless. My bill with a club soda was $25.25. Thank U next! read more

Food 3.5/5.0 Service 4.0/5.0 Value 3.5/5.0 Decor 3.5/5.0 Overall 3.5/5.0 This was an interesting visit. Nice neighborhood spot, 4.5* on Yelp, got a personal recommendation from someone who lives in the neighborhood. Food was decent. Now, the pizza was actually pretty good. Torn a bit on the dough (bread v dough -- not sure how I feel about it) but the pizza was definitely enjoyable. The other dishes were just ok. Steak was mediocre (normally wouldn't order this unless it was specifically Florentine but I was curious). Pasta was only ok. Didn't think it lived to up to expectations. read more

We always enjoy going to Luliano's whether it's for delicious pizza or to enjoy one of their many entrees. Just returned from brunching here and after 2 hours my belly is still nicely full and happy. We have always enjoyed their regular dine in menu items and have occasionally ordered their fried calamari or whole pizzas for delivery. Its always delicious and never a bad meal but I was blown away by their prix fixe brunch menu. It came with a gratis glass of alcohol or non-alcohol beverage which is a rarity now in Bay Ridge, a truly generous size entree (in my opinion a nice selection) and a decadent dessert (cannoli, tiramisu or a bowl of gelato) No minature size anything here that's for sure and coffee or tea. The food was exceptionally fresh, hot and very good. Cannoli took a walk with me home cause I was too full. We will be coming back again to try their other offerings soon. read more

Horrible customer service!!! Been ordering take out pizza since corona started. My kids love the margarita pizza. So we always order the two pie special that they run from Tuesday to Thursday for $29. Two margaritas usually run about $32-33 with the special. Anything other than the Classico or the margarita they charge you a few dollars extra. Today I tried to order for my kids ( a large margarita pie and a large sofia Lorenza pie) and someone new answers the phone has no clue about the special and charges me more than the pies charge if I order them off the menu. When I call back to ask why he gives me some story first that menu prices went up ( which the did not) then he said well that's the special I ordered was $38!!!! What I want to know is how can a special be MORE $ than the menu price??? read more
