Today however it wasn't pizza that brought me here, it was the famous Emmy Burger. To begin with the atmosphere of the restaurant is dim lighting a few tables with a reasonable sized bar in the middle of the room. They also have an open kitchen concept where just past the bar you can see the cooks working. My server Inda was polite and knowledgeable about the menu. My burger was excellent, normally I don't eat my burger with a knife and folk, but in this case with all the cheese and sauce oozing down the sides, not to mention the caramelized onions, it was necessary. (If I were home I wouldn't mind having burger juices running down my arm, but other people were eating in the restaurant also). The tiny pickles which I can't remember the name of were an added treat to the burger. I decided to order mine with the loaded fries. Just imagine the ground burger with all the toppings covering french fries and add melted white cheese. Since I was alone I didn't order a pizza because how would I eat it all, but next time I will try the pizza. I don't mind paying extra for a burger when it's aged beef and the taste is great. I definitely recommend this location. There is a fast food burger restaurant next door to Emily's but I can't imagine there burgers compare. I will try them another time and let you know. Anyways, we started off with the Hot Nguyen Wings ($18), which has a nice spicy glaze from the Gochujang. It also comes with 6 full wings, so you get a good amount of food here --perfect to share with two or three people. The flavor on these were one of my favorites that I'm still dreaming about these. Then we also got The Breeze Pizza ($26) and Emmy Burger ($31). The pizza dough was really good on this with a chewy texture and loaded with toppings. They have so many variations of pizza here that I'd love to try some of the more unique options next time. As for the burger that everyone comes here for, it's good. I can't say it's the best, but it's a solid and very messy burger with lots of carmelized onions. It's also quite a pricey burger, although it does come with some crispy fries. Also, I think the waiter forgot my burger order because every table got their burger before their pizza except ours. When my husband was already on his last slice of pizza, I had to ask if my burger was still coming. By the time it came, I had to eat this by myself and was a bit too full to even enjoy it anymore. Overall, loved the food here especially the wings that I find so underrated. The service was a bit off and it felt like it was just me sadly. Plus, the space is just way too cramped. It looks like others who celebrated their birthday here gets a Banana Pudding, so that's a plus.

The bread has a garlic butter spread, the steak is of high quality (far better than anything from the local bodega), and the cheese and onions bring it all together. Driving through Brooklyn and stopped for the first time in prob. 10 years, and it was the same quality, portion and taste as I remembered. I'm not even a big roast beef fan but it is just so good here, and their fries are legendery, too. Their iced tea and lemonade is also memorable, in a good way. We spent enough ($50) to get a free pizza and that too was tasty - thin crust. Can't wait to stop by again in another few years. It's worth the stop.
