Garlic knots with pepperoni
Cherokee R.

The pizza and garlic knots was fresh, delicious and hot. I can only refer to the pizza and garlic knots because that's all I tried. The staff is friendly and hospitable. The restaurant is clean.

Chicken and broccoli slice

Was in the area with a friend and wanted pizza so we came to Bella Roma. Small pizzeria with a few booths along the walls. I ordered a chicken and broccoli slice with a bottle of water and she ordered a Buffalo chicken slice, a bottle of coke and a plain slice for her 4 year old daughter. I paid and the total for all of that came to $16 and change. Not bad I guess. Eh. We sat down and the guy brought us our pizza which I didn't expect. Usually they always call it out and we go up and get it so that was very nice of them. The chicken and broccoli slice was DELICIOUS!!!!! Not greasy at all and I didn't even feel sick after. Usually that happens when I have pizza but not this time. Will definitely go back if I'm ever in the area. Great pizza!!

Medium pepperoni pie

My family and I wanted to try a new restaurant and ordered from here through UberEats based on ratings and reviews. Food came relatively quick but a lot was lacking. We ordered a medium pepperoni pie which came out to $17.00. The pizza wasn't bad and probably the best item we got. We also got a small Bella Roma antipasto salad for $10.50 and this was so disappointing. There were maybe a few pieces of wilted romaine and the entire salad was very wet and soggy (dressing was on the side). This was not appetizing at all and we just picked at what was edible. Lastly, we got the grilled chicken hero for $11.75. Definitely not worth the price. There was more lettuce in this sandwich than there was in my salad. They gave a very thin piece of chicken that wasn't seasoned at all and tasted very bland and the bread was very soggy and stale.

Grandma Pie

Well this pizza is quite fabulous if you ask me. I have been trying different pizza joints after many fails. Why is it so hard to find consistent good pizza. That can be delivered without the pizza pie getting manhandled by delivery guys. So grandma pie is my go too. Love thin crust and also love when it's made like L&B style. The grandma pie here is very good even tho it's not L&B. Thin crust with a nice pesto mixed in on top. It's my go too on weekend and days off.

The tastiest pizza in our neighborhood. Recommended Great value for money! Always wanted to try real Italian pizza.

More crumb!

Benny has done it again. His mastery of the pie and the quality is what I tried to create in Silicon Valley. I hope Benny can come visit us in California and is happy with what we built. If it wasn't for Benny, A Slice of New York in San Jose/Santa Clara and Sunnyvale would not have ever been created. Benny is the best. If you can visit this spot, you will leave happy.

Sicilian pie with pepperoni!

Have been using Slice app to try different spots in the new neighborhood I moved into! Finally found our new pizza spot! Bella Roma makes really good, tasty pizza! Their garlic knots were really great, their sauce was flavorful. We also had the penne vodka which was ok, nothing great but definitely not bad at all. They could maybe use a bit more seasoning in their vodka sauce. But their Sicilian and regular pie were crispy and tasted so good! Love that they have different family deal meals to choose from. Will definitely order from here again!

Ordered a Spinach Roll with side marinara sauce.

I tried looking up this pizza from Target Richfield for a review, but it sent me to the NYC location, so forgive me if this review is in the wrong thread. Anyway, wow. I've been to New York City and ate at the original Joe's Pizza. What an epic slice of pizza. Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

He would pull the pans with his bear hand out of the oven and generously drizzle olive oil from a rustic copper container over every pie. He would then meticulously inspect the dough for bubbles. Dom has now passed but his legacy continues. I've always compared the then pie vs now. And like most things,, nothing beats the original. This is still a very good slice. I once rated them as the best in NYC. Unfortunately, its not at the very top but still on the podium. Coming back feels like you are saying hello to an old friend. If you haven't been, you have to try at least once.

We ordered a whole pie half plain and half pepperoni, which is only $2.50 more. What I notice right away is the zesty tomato sauce, which Has love. However, I must admit that the crust was a bit too hard for my taste. Yes! It was crispy, but biting through it was somewhat difficult. Overall a good slice, but maybe the dough was off a bit that day. Regardless, Luigi's Pizza is an institution and I will be back again next time I'm in the area. This is where I go when I want these things. No longer living in NY, it's an hour+ trip, but always worth it. Many pizzas do not reheat well due to rubbish cheese- not L&B- pop it in the oven around 400°F, and let it crisp back up! Also- the Spumoni- it keeps at a nice consistency in the freezer, unlike rubbish American ice cream- which gets like a rock. The only other Spumoni I buy is from Corona. They're both phenomenal in their respective rights. When asked by non-NY'ers which pizza is my favourite- this is number one for Sicilian- not heavy at all. The crust is light, airy, and flavourful. The cheese to sauce ratio is perfect- not swimming in greasy cheap cheese. I have the same standards for Neapolitan Pizza. We can discuss that elsewhere. Please never close shop- at least let's celebrate the centenary!

The person found his manager to talk to me about this. They were super friendly and explained to me the situation. This location only sold vegan options in full pies and their other DOP Fast Life location does sell vegan slices, but they didn't try to push me to buy. I came back today and the staff today were also very welcoming. Ambiance 5/5: Rustic red brick interior with warm lighting. It was definitely bustling on a Friday night. Food 5/5: Delicious pizza. Fresh mozzarella, a nicely thin crisped crust, sweet tomato sauce, and fresh basil makes this simple pizza taste great. The fried calamari also impressed. It tasted notably fresh--light, clean, and not overly chewy like pre-frozen versions can sometimes be. While I can't say for certain, it had that just-prepared quality that makes a difference. The Caprese salad was a great way to start the meal, with fresh tomatoes, creamy burrata, and a balsamic drizzle was a nice light start. The atmosphere leans old-school Italian, which adds to the charm and character. Service was fine--nothing remarkable, but no major issues either. That said, my overall rating takes a big hit solely for the restaurants ridiculous tipping policy choices rather than the food itself. The automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill was frustrating. The menu does indicate that 18%, will automatically apply, or will be 20% for parties of six or more. We were only three people, so it felt inconsistent and unnecessary. On top of that, the added cost for credit card usage didn't help. I don't mind tipping for good service! In fact, I tip well--but I prefer having the choice and I'm old school so it's the principle of the matter. Being forced into it, takes away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Bottom line: the food is strong and worth trying, but the billing practices leave a bad taste. If those were adjusted, this could easily be a higher-rated experience.
